Whoa, this one was intense!
Typical fmc about to marry some guy who is an ass in private yet a golden boy in public. She runs away because she would rather be eaten by monsters than marry him. She's in luck because she runs into a monster that eventually does "eat" her 😉
I ADORE how even though the mmc is big and threatening, he's actually soft and caring. I would have loved more of his backstory and what happened to his kind.
That ending threw me as I didn't care for the brutality even given the ok from the fmc- it was too much for me.
