Some powers were never meant to be held. Some truths were never meant to be found.
Seven years ago, the sky cracked open and the world changed forever.
From the Rift came Titans—beings of unimaginable power, born of the anomaly that tore through reality. In the chaos that followed, governments fell, cities crumbled, and the shadowy Dominion rose to seize control. For Rowan Gray, the Rift didn’t just shatter the sky—it shattered his family. His parents vanished studying the anomaly. His older brother, Jack, disappeared years later and was presumed dead. Only his sister Riley remains, hardened and leading a hidden outpost of survivors on the edges of Dominion territory.
Now seventeen, Rowan is no Titan. But when he steps near Rift residue or Titans themselves, strange things happen. Powers falter. Titans weaken. Something in him unravels their strength. He’s not sure why—only that whatever is inside him feels wrong. Like it doesn’t belong.
When a Dominion patrol threatens their camp, Rowan instinctively neutralizes a Titan weapon. Soon after, whispers start to haunt him. Not voices. Echoes. And then they find Jack is alive—inside the Rift—and he’s using powers of his own.
Haunted by visions, pursued by the Dominion, and torn between the past and what he's becoming, Rowan must confront the impossible Jack may not be a prisoner of the Rift. He might be part of it.
As Rowan’s abilities grow, he’s faced with a choice—one that could reshape the world again. Because if Titans are power incarnate, then Rowan is something else.
