Bryan Ferry: . . .oh, My Love. . .

".Bryan, who did not fit into his own times, invaded the times of my own quest, the precise moment of my destiny. His face, turned towards the remains of the treasures, decorated the halls of the concerts like the little nickel statues, the mirrors and water-walls in the expensive hotels. He had a little smile on his cheek and a white spot on his braceleted wrist." (From the introduction)

"And I believe that you exist everywhere. You sleep and lay stretched in the world's meadows and the inaccessible frontiers. You open your hands and you caress the little flowers on the trees. You wake up and you hear "good morning" from all the rare species of the animal kingdom. All four points of the horizon wave to you. You live on the north and the south simultaneously. You wander your beauty and your music, an expenditure for a counterpoint to misery."

Unique book, lovingly conceived, but missing that ingredient pertaining to his radical use of myriad musical styles.
