He’s the wolf who wants to swallow the whole world. I’m the girl who bites back.
Nero De Luca is carnage in a tailored suit. A vicious killer. An obsessive hunter. A beautiful villain with blood on his hands and ice in his veins. I was supposed to be a distraction. A game. Just a girl stupid enough to dance too close to his fire. But I looked him in the eye when I should’ve bowed. I bared my teeth when I should’ve begged. Now I’m locked in his cage of silk and steel. His captive. His obsession. His war. But I’m not the delicate thing he thinks he stole. I’m the storm he never saw coming. And I don’t bend for kings. I break monsters.
Dance of Madness is a standalone dark mafia romance with a smart untamable heroine and an ultra possessive hero with "look at her and I'll unalive you" energy. Readers are STRONGLY advised to read the TW inside. No cliffhanger; HEA included.
A reader first and foremost, Jagger Cole cut his romance writing teeth penning various fan-fiction stories years ago. After deciding to hang up his writing boots, Jagger worked in advertising pretending to be Don Draper. It worked enough to convince a woman way out of his league to marry him, though, which is a total win.
Now, Dad to two little princesses and King to a Queen, Jagger is thrilled to be back at the keyboard.
When not writing or reading romance books, he can be found woodworking, enjoying good whiskey, and grilling outside—rain or shine.
⚠️ DANCE OF MADNESS – OR JUST STRAIGHT-UP INSANITY? DNF @ 74% (Chapter 31) | ⭐️/5
WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. F💀CK. WAS THIS. I swear on every brain cell I have left—if this was romance, I’m the Queen of England. This book? Wasn’t dark romance. This was abuse. Point blank.
When it started, I had hope. Like an actual plot? Finally?? After the last few copy-paste disasters Jagger’s dropped with the same recycled dom and a different wig on the heroine, this one felt like it was gonna give something.
But then. HE PUT HER IN A CAGE. I am not exaggerating. Not metaphorically. Literally. He caged her. After 70% of "falling in love". Why? Because someone sent him a shaky-ass video "proving" she was involved in the murder of his parents. Instead of TALKING to her? He kidnaps her. Cages her. Threatens to MURDER her father. Oh, and then? SODOMIZES her in a cage. First time. AND WE’RE MEANT TO THINK THIS IS HOT???
No. Just no. This is not CNC. This is not edgy. This is not “healing through pain.” This is SA dressed in mafia cosplay with the plot depth of a paper towel. This man is a rapist. And we’re supposed to root for him???
AND MILENA. God help me. How do you look a man in the face—after he says he’s gonna kill your loving father—and still spread your legs?? I don’t care how hot he is or how tragic his backstory is, YOU’RE IN A CAGE. CRYING. BEGGING. AND STILL F💀CKING HIM??? WHERE is your dignity??
Also, let’s talk about how Jagger Cole has officially become obsessed with primal CNC to the point it’s losing all nuance. His earlier books? Toxic, sure. But they had a line. Now? It’s like he’s in a race to outdo himself with who can humiliate the heroine harder. And for WHAT? Where’s the grovel? The redemption? THERE IS NONE. Just vibes. Vile, terrifying vibes.
Honestly? I’m done. I’ll show up for Kir’s book (because I’ve been waiting months for that and if Jagger ruins him I’ll riot) And maybe for Gabby x Dom because the power dynamics are at least less deranged. But this? Never again. I am not wasting another brain cell on a story where the biggest twist is “Surprise! Your love interest is your captor!”
If you’re into zero consent, zero logic, and 100% trauma porn disguised as passion, sure. Be my guest. But I? I choose peace. And better books.
Dance of Madness (Darkest Dance, #3) by Jagger Cole
5/5 stars
Oh my. Jagger Cole is by far one of my most favorite dark romance authors. But the last few books were amazing and addictive 4 star books. But this one.. Dance of Madness is finally another delicious, hot and powerful 5 star book! Definitely the best book so far in the Darkest Dance series. The chemistry was off the charts! And the s*x scenes set my own heart on fire!
The book starts with Milena about to enter the abandoned and haunted Greymoor Manor. She lost a bet to Alice Houghton, and has to enter the house to take something, leave something and record a little video in Lady Greymoor's bedroom. The longer she's there, the more secure she feels. And when she has recorded the video and whispered: there's no such things as monsters, a voices whispers there are. She bolts and starts to flee. The man who chases and catches her wants to completely devour her. Her soul longs for it. But her mind is racing and she knees him in the balls and flees.
She cannot seem to stop thinking about the entire thing. And the man, Nero, stalks her and watches her sleep. Touches her in her sleep. And when she goes to a club he corners her in a bathroom. Sparks instantly fly off the page. Their chemistry is so palpable and so burningly hot. This truly is one of Cole's best books ever. But Nero doesn't let her finish and she's furious.
And that is what this book is about. It's about two people who aren't meant for each other at all. But share a burning need to completely devour the other one, heart and soul. And it's not just a current thing. Nero and Milena were pen pals, and have loved each other for years and years.
But while their passion burns bright, Nero also carries an enormous pain with him. His parents were brutally murdered 4 years ago and he doesn't know who did it. And when he confesses this horrendous memory to Milena... we instantly feel Milena may know more about this event.
I love that their relationship was at forefront in this. The second book had a lot of mafia business in it and less romance. I prefer that romance is more at the forefront.
And like I said earlier, this is one of Jagger Cole's best books. If you love dark romance and if you haven't read anything by him yet then give this beauty a chance! I know it'll burn you in the best way possible!
Dare I say my new fav mmc from Jagger? Nero and his inner monologue had me sat and folded like a damn lawn chair I was hyperventilating like a damn cat in heat😩🥵 lmao.
I’m already making my predictions for the next book and the mm book that is fersure happening andddddd the playlist ? NINE INCH NAILS - Closer and that’s my fav song from them ?!?! Oh yes Jagger you ate this right on up 👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you for giving me a badass bitch as an fmc because I’m soook tired of the weak ones #sorrynotsorry. I’m actually surprised I liked this fmc because I did go in thinking I was gonna hate her because of her profession, but of god was I mistaken and happy I was!
The plot was plotting . The smut was smutting . IT GAVE ME ALL I NEEDED🤩
HUGE THANK YOU TO JAGGER COLE AND VPR FOR SENDING ME AN ARC IN RETURN FOR AN HONEST REVIEW!!
Dance of Madness is the 3rd book in the Darkest Dance series. This continues to follow the secret society, although it is barely featured in the book this time. This was not my favorite book in this series.
Milena is a Bratva princess and ballerina. She gets dared to go to a creepy, haunted mansion, but she ends up running into Nero, who was there to meet up with someone to do some CNC. He chased her down, and she was able to get away, but now he becomes obsessed and starts stalking her. They actually have a history together when they were secret pen pals. Nero and Milena can’t stay away from each other and decide to explore their CNC kinks together.
This one was a big disappointment, and this series has not been my favorite. I think part of the problem is I have read all of Jagger Cole’s ARC’s for the last 16 books, and he has been way too obsessed with CNC. I am so tired of reading CNC in every book, and I feel like he needs to take a break from it for a while. His CNC also gets pretty violent, and all the heroines end up all bruised and battered like an abused woman. That is not what I am into.
This book was also basically 90% smut with zero romance or connection between the characters. I literally started skipping every sex scene in this book. This is my other problem with his CNC books because he spends most of the book focusing on that sexual dynamic with no emotional connection. Then we are supposed to believe they are all of a sudden in love. I don’t buy it at all.
Then, the way the hero responded in the 3rd act made him irredeemable. I was disgusted with his behavior and how he treated the heroine. To top that off, the heroine forgave him instantly. She was so pathetic, and I wish Jagger would start writing some strong women.
I was thinking I might need to take a break after this book, but the next book is Kir’s and that is the character I have been waiting for since the previous series.
5 ⭐️ | 4.5🌶️ Holyyyy shit. Jagger went off. This book is going to live rent free in my head. The plot was captivating, the characters had depth and so much chemistry and the SPICE?! Hottest thing I’ve read in a minute and I read some spicy shit.
Hot take, but Nero might be my favorite character of Jaggers. He was funny as hell, self aware and had some deep emotions. He was still a psycho but one I wouldn’t mind chasing me through a haunted house lol.
Dance of Madness is book 3 The Darkest Dance series. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend starting at the beginning!
Nero and Milena meet by accident. He chases her through an old abandon house, but it’s all a misunderstanding. She was set up and he was promised a chase. After he gets one small taste of her he is HOOKED. The man is obsessed, so obsessed that he breaks into her room A LOT. He likes to watch her sleep do more than just watch her… if you know what I mean.
The plot is captivating and I loved these character so much. Nero was funny as hell and their banter was too tier. A must read if you love a mafia romance and all the spice.
Thank you Jagger Cole and Valentine PR for the opportunity to read and review this advanced copy!

Jagger Cole’s books starter pack: An fmc who’s been sexually assaulted in the past and is into to cnc/primal kink as a way to cope (but this time he decided to switch things up and it was the mmc who’d been sa’d before). A dumb fmc with no backbone and is easily controlled by sex and has body betraying syndrome every single time the mmc so much as looks at her, even if the mmc treats her like dogshit. A loser mmc who won’t stop reminding us how much of a “psychopath” he is in every single chapter, when in reality he’s just a disgusting r*pist. The mcs’ first encounter has to be the mmc sa’ing or trying to sa the fmc 😒 R*pist mmcs who turn all ballistic and violent on other r*pists just bc they tried to sa the fmc as if they aren’t all birds of the same feathers.
5 chapters in and the mmc broke into her house and sa’d her. He did it more than once too. I’d say i’m shocked but i’m not bc this is Jagger Cole after all and all the mmcs in this series are cut from the same cloth. It’s the same crap in nearly every book he writes. One of the most tackiest thing the mcs did was having sex in front of the guy who’d tried to sa the fmc more than once. The irony of the mmc being a r*pist even though he’d been r*ped in his past 🤦🏽♀️
This book was already terrible but it got worse when the mmc kidnapped the fmc and put her in a literal cage and chained her up over a misunderstanding. He got off on humiliating her, water boarded her and then forced himself on her. Idk why Milena was marketed as a strong fmc bc she's anything but. She’s dumb asf and and a brainless loser, cause tell me why she got turned on and started touching herself while Nero was forcing her to suck him off after all that humiliation he’d put her through. And then she let him roughly fuck her after he’d waterboarded her and threatened to k*ll her and wipe out her family and afterwards, he left her there on the dirty freezing floor, all chained up. He didn’t even properly feed her. He gave her a bottle of water, a bag of pretzel sticks, and a burned piece of toast. She slept on the floor like a dog and the fool thanked him for the food and blanket as if he’d done something to be thanked for. There was no grovelling. He said sorry once or twice and kept it moving. She disrespected her father all for a man who sa’d, humiliated and abused her, bc her father tortured the mmc after he found out what he'd done to his daughter.
Idk why I keep giving Jagger Cole the benefit of the doubt when his new mmcs are disgusting pieces of shit who treat the fmcs like crap. Hopefully Kir isn’t also a r*pist bc I won’t be continuing with these books if I have to keep reading the same nonsense every time
❥ 𝑴𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒂 𝜗𝜚˚⋆ I liked her a lot. She is tough, intelligent and stands her ground against Nero.
❥ 𝑵𝒆𝒓𝒐 ⋆✮ I loved him! He is obsessed with his woman and treats her like a queen.
✥ 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌 Again a great book in this series. I love the setting Jagger Cole has created with the secret society and the masked men. It is thrilling with a lot of secrets and plot twists. This book is very kinky and you need to be aware that there is the non consensual trope/kink and a lot of hunting. Milena and Nero are a force together and I loved them. Both are born in the mafia and have a connected past. Their story is an entertaining and enjoyable read. Most of the book Nero is a green flag (considering how much a mafia boss can be a green flag) and I adored him and Milena together. The last 20% were the big show down with some misunderstandings and a lot of drama going down. It was an interesting story and I loved both characters. Overall this was a great read.
This was not one of my favourites by Jagger, but it was also enjoyable. Probably was the best installment in the series. Check your triggers due to the nature of the storyline, the offensive lenguage and the cnc kink. This is a story of power and control, betrayal, vengeance, mistrust and love. I can't wait to read Kir's book.
I should’ve DNFd this book a LONGGGGGGG time ago. I honestly kept reading bc I wanted to know what happened and honestly? NOT. WORTH. IT!!! This book was 500 pages and I think the main characters had a total of 5 actual conversations where they didn’t just have sex. I feel like we never really got to see their full relationship bc any time they tried to have a conversation it would just lead to sex and honestly it got old after awhile. I’m sorry but if Nero really loved milena like he said then he would have listened to her. I mean his main saying is literally “be heard” and he didn’t listen to her ONCE. It was so uncalled for to lock her up in a cage and be that cruel to her. I mean anyone could have known that that tape he received was a fake, but he didn’t want to listen to her. And you’re telling me after she says she loves him all is forgiven for him and he takes her out of the cage? Like come on.
I am stupidly addicted to these books but this one just didn’t hit like they usually do. They seem to get more focused on abuse and pain with each book. Going around with bruises and welts constantly says physical abuse, not sexy fun times to me. Give me more big dumb psychopathic golden retrievers like Damian.
I also struggled with the plot this time. I feel like the author’s rush to get the next book out quickly is having a negative effect on story quality.
First of all, Closer by Nine Inch Nails in the playlist makes SO MUCH sense a la chapter 16.
And idk how many times I can say it but I can’t help it when Jagger never fucking misses. Phenomenal plot, superior spice. That should be his tag line : Dark Dirty & Deviantly Delicious Mafia Romance with Phenomenal Plot and Superior Spice.
There’s a dare from a bitchy mean girl, a gothic mansion, and some running. Right into her monster.
I loved Nero’s inner monologue there was a part in the book where he was basically like “Yep that’s for me and those are for me too and that’s mine now”
After this book, I do have some theories on who Kirs FMC might be as well and possibly the MM book we are getting from Jagger this series!
Broken Boy girlies. Nero is your guy. He may be feral and completely unhinged but he’s also just a broken boy who wants to be loved.
Our FMC…she is a fighter. She doesn’t hold back at all. He doesn’t either. Making them the perfect match.
We are going to call it the “let me show you what’s mine scene.” And it’s probably not what you’re thinking. But let me tell you…HOT.
Jagger is so good at having all the puzzle pieces fit together even the smallest ones a lot of the time have me 🤯.
Anyway, another banger and am I surprised? Actually kind of bc ballerina FMCs are not my fav but here we are with back to back 5 stars. Which makes me absolutely thrilled ab Kirs book, Dance of Devils, bc idk what it is but it’s always the 1st, 4th, or last book in a series of Jaggers that’s my favorite. Can’t wait!
Thank you to Jagger Cole and VPR for sending the ARC!
i feel like this series just gets hotter and hotter, if that’s even possible. i’m OB 👏 SESSED 👏
i loved how jagger dropped bits of nero’s history and it all comes together at the end for one big bang in this book. i’ve always thought jagger was great at that but it was next level in this one. there was one moment in particular that made me scream WHAT and i maybe got a text to lower my voice. oops.
i also really liked the letters in this book, i thought they really helped to develop milena and nero’s story and i loved the glimpses into the past they provided. i’m a sucker for letters in general but i enjoyed jagger’s unique take on them for this book.
man i’m excited for kir’s book. he’s so elusive and pops up out of nowhere most of the time. i’m very curious to see who he’s paired with because i don’t think jagger has given us even a gram of a hint. i just know it’ll be a good one.
First of all I’m curious all of these characters but let’s see which one’s story seems more intriguing☺️ I read a lot of books from Jagger Cole and his mmc’s are always unhinged and obsessed. Nero is one of them!
Milena was literally so relatable for me. I loved her so much. She was vulnerable but from the other side she’s confident. I dunno, she’s becoming my favorite.
The first half of the book was actually boring but the letters and the secrets blows out, it got me addicted.

⚠️Triggers: read the below.
⚠️Spoi**Kinda second chance but both are don’t know it 🤭
For years, I never knew who my pen pal was, even though we told each other everything, up to and including our deepest, darkest thoughts and fantasies. Kinks. Desires. Needs. We met, just once, masked, and he chased me through the shadows, pulled me to the ground, and took every part of me. Then bullets shattered the night, and scattered whoever he was to the winds. And for the last few weeks, I’ve been debating if it was Laz, or Nero. They’re both the right age. They’ve both got dark hair and piercing green eyes. They both come from mafia families. It could have been either of them. There was only one I wanted it to be, though. And I just got my wish. It’s him. My pen pal, and the man from that night… Is Nero.
THIS WAS THE BEST. The plot of the book… That’s what I love about, it was so shocking to read.

First of all I didn’t like Brooklyn but I’m hoping she won’t be matching with Kir. Because he’s too fine🤤 I’m already intrigued!!
i went into this with low expectations, especially after the last book’s disaster, just continuing the series for kir and val/vaughn. but i was pleasantly surprised, by both the main characters and different dynamics, plus the plot. it’s no coincidence that their story reminded me of my other favorites by the author – pen pals, second chance-ish, romeo and juliet vibes. the only reason it’s not a 5 star read for me is the third act conflict, more specifically the mmc torturing the fmc after they’re already together and in love. there was not nearly enough grovel, in my opinion.
* i was sent an arc by valentine pr in exchange for a honest review
This Jagger Cole included two of my favorite things: 1. Idaho references, specifically Hemingway’s grave in Ketchum. 2. UTI awareness. However, it does leave me pondering … how big is too big?
See this is why I avoid books that have blonde fmc bc this is literally the worst book I’ve ever read. I want my time back that I wasted reading this book-
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁
I’m going to make this short bc I honestly don’t think this book deserves to have a full length review.
Both Nero and Milena are kinky as hell. No scratch that all the characters have the same as kink! The CNC type kink and being chased around like omg pick another one!
I was so curious about the wolf mask and then we get this mf-
This book was literally 75% just straight up kinky CNC and 25% plot.
I literally had to skim the final chapter bc I didn’t care about this book anymore.
The only person I could stand in this book was Kir and if I’m being honest I’m scared to read his book bc Jagger Cole writes the same thing! The same spicy scenes in the story, and uses the same phrases in the spicy scenes. It’s getting annoying!
I have such high expectations for Kir’s story. I have a feeling it’s going to be Brooklyn… another blonde. (Please help me god). If it turns out to be Dove than the world is healing.
The only good part about the book is what we found out about Nero and Kir… that’s it!
I’m also curious about Dom and Gabriella
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁
Overall, 1.5/5 stars ★
Yes that’s how bad this book was.
1. It had a blonde fmc.
2. The story is like the same book as the 1st one only more kinker (if that’s even a word)
3. It was BORING!
Kir’s story better not disappoint I swear to you!!!
This book left NO CRUMBS👏 I freaking loved it so much!!!
Nero & Milena had the best chemistry and connection. A relationship that’s been blooming for years even unbeknownst to them for a long time, when they got together I was living for every single moment between them.
They both come from powerful mafia families. So many secrets and twists, betrayals happen in this book.
The spice was fucking spicing HARD in this one 🥵
This book gave extra spooky vibes as well which I loved. Being chased by a masked man in an old haunted house? Where do I sign up??😮💨
Thank you so much Jagger Cole & VPR for this arc. I am so damn read for Kir’s book next 😍
“You should lock your windows at night, baby. Or don’t. I LIKE THE INVITATION”
I would leave my window WIDE open for this MMC.
Jagger Cole does it again. Nero is obsessive, unhinged, chaotic, and fully self aware of all those things. Our FMC takes everything Nero throws at her, she’s a fighter and throws it right back at him. Past trauma revealed, betrayal and plot twist I didn’t see coming. Deliciously HOT spice and great banter.
Thank you so much to Jagger Cole and Valentine PR & Literary Management for the ARC 🖤

This book is about Nero and Milena. Years ago Milena lost her virginity to Nero. They were pen pals before they met face to face to act out their dark fantasy. They wore masks so they didn’t know each other faces.
Hence years later it was hinted that Nero didn’t know Milena was the girl he chased and fcked. Milena knew because after they met and fck, they were ambushed and when she got home her uncle told her he attacked Nero at the building both her and Nero met earlier. She kept that a secret because his parents died that day because her bratva killed them.
I don’t want to say too much here so long story short they were intimate again and when they admitted they fell in love with other to themselves, Nero got a vid where Milena and her dad talked about the attack years ago. It was altered but he was blind with rage.
He kidnapped her and put her in cage. She tried to explain but he refused to listen. 3 days later he changed his mind and being all lovey dovey towards Milena.
That kinda threw me off. One one side I was proud that he was being quite logical, more than the usual hero I read in other books, but on the other side I expected him to be more mad… idk.
The ending was okay, no proposal, no marriage, no kids. Expected more but I think that’s what was expected from a male writer.
But I gotta admit this one was tamer than the other books by Jagger Cole. Got more heart to heart moment, softer side of the hero although it would be nice to get more of that since the date was a fail. Slightly too much sex. Would love to see them connected more mentally than only lust. Although they connected years ago through letters but still wanted more on the present day.
But I still appreciate how Nero admitted he loved her for years.
Oh he was SAed by an older woman when he was 13 which was a disgusting act. I hate child molester soooo much. Thankfully there was no explicit description about the day.
It was hinted he was celibate throughout the years since he slept with Milena. He chased other girls but didn’t sleep with them. Idk about the sex itself but I this he was celibate.
Overall a good story. Would try the next book.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I’m pretty positive that Jagger Cole is the only one who can combine ballet , Mafia, and secret societies and make them the most appealing and swoon worthy thing in the world. Ballerinas with back bones and unhinged , obsessive masked men? YES PLEASE!!! Everytime I read another one of the books in this series I SWEAR the MMC is my favorite…but…NERO?!?! NERO DE LUCA?!? This unhinged psychopath is the ULTIMATE Jagger Cole man, and I would let him chase me anytime, anywhere. I said what I said. 😤😤😤
This book had me spinning out. We have Milena…our beautiful ballerina FMC who is also a bravata princess. Unlike the other FMC’s in this series, Milena is STRONG. She has no problem standing up for herself and definitely standing up to any man who thinks he can talk down to her. And this goes DOUBLE for Nero.
Nero and Milena have a secret connection that neither is aware of before they physically meet for the first time. A secret that ties into the reason that Nero is so unhinged and dark. They meet when a mean girl sets Milena up for a prank at Greymoore manner. Unbeknownst to her…Nero was there for his own fun. One masked chase later and Nero has Milena in his grips and has no intention of letting her go.
There’s so much to this story. Secrets, lies, betrayal, passion and depraved darkness that lies deep within them both. Nero is a man obsessed. He has zero boundaries when it comes to Milena, and he truly doesn’t care if she likes it or not. But Milena isn’t about to sit back and take it. She goes toe to toe with him and he loves every second of her fight. In fact he encourages it. These two have a push and pull that borders on insanity and it had me SWEATING!!
Nero is a psychotic mess but deep down he’s just a lost broken boy. And he doesn’t realise it right away, but Milena is the key to helping unlock his heart that he’s kept locked away. Milena has a darkness in her that she’s always tried to keep hidden, but with Nero she can finally be herself and embrace the darkness with him.
It’s dark, depraved, delicious and a brutal love story that will keep you on the edge of your seat the way only Jagger Cole can. I can’t WAIT for Dance of Devils!!! ❤️
Thank you so much to Jagger Cole and Valentine PR for allowing me to ARC read yet another book in this phenomenal series ❤️

Uh oh Nero is now my favorite of the Black Court men 🤪 once again, Jagger hits the mark with an ott/possesive, unhinged male lead and a badass female lead who doesn’t take shit but loves to take it from her man. Nero and Milena had delicious chemistry and the plot surrounding them had me glued to the pages. I can’t wait to see what comes next.
. . . .
Thank you to Valentine PR for the arc opportunity!
*M/F *Contemporary *Multi-1st-PoV *Mafia Romance *Second Chances *TW - SA/Captivity *Touch her and 💀 *Fast Burn *Standalone *Wider Universe Dark desires 🔥 This story follows the Bull of the Black Court and Milena Bratva Princess and ballet dancer! I enjoyed the way this story was woven together with their past, the pen pal letters and how it’s tied to their present, it created a lot of depth and development to their story 😄 Milena is a spitfire of a girl and will not be used in anyway shape or form 😅 she’s got heart but also craves something darker in her desires 🌶️ cue Nero de Luca the king predator of primal urges 🔥 yet he’s also got a madness due to his tragic past 😔 he’s clearly got love to give but has high walls! These two are brought together time and time again yet the actions of the past may just blow up their present as their families may not be best aligned 😖 I found the “realisation” of her innocence and then everything after that very quick compared to the first 3/4 of the book. But other than that a great standalone mafia read!
This book definitely has to be my favourite of the series so far 😁
Neco and Milena have such an amazing chemistry and yes it's dark and dirty and a lot of fun kinks between the characters but it also has some softer sweeter moments between the characters that even when Neco doesn't believe that he's worthy of being loved and is fuelled by his demons and ghosts that he does something that hurts Milena but she still loves him anyway and forgives him straight away.
