Zephyr is the last air dragon. For a century and a half, she searched for her mate without finding him. Finally, she decides to have a true dragon with Avani, the last earth dragon, and only remaining male dragon. Their son, Ancalagon, is the last of the pure dragons. Ishir is a Bengal tiger shifter. He became friends with Avani before he was captured and placed in an arena. There, he met Tana, the fire dragon. He befriended her, her hybrid daughter, and eventually her Lycan mate. For years, he has been working to rescue shifters while also maintaining a job searching for missing humans. It was during a meeting to discuss taking down a new arena that Ishir met Zephyr. That was when he realized that he is mated to a dragon. When Zephyr recognizes Ishir as her mate, she refuses to acknowledge him. After all this time, she finally finds her mate just when she’s had her son, Ancalagon. But a dragon can’t stay away from their mate. In a moment of weakness, she goes to Ishir, spending a night of passion more intense than anything she could have imagined. When she returns home, she finds that her son has been kidnapped and taken by hunters. She begins searching for him, half-crazed to protect him from the people who so willingly kill shifters. When Zephyr finally finds her son, the lead hunter, Oliver, negotiates an agreement with her – she will work for him in exchange for her son’s life. Now, Zephyr will have to go against her very nature, becoming an assassin and killing those she is sworn to protect in order to save her son. Can Ishir find Ancalagon, protect the shifters, and save Zephyr from herself, or will Zephyr lose herself to save her son? **This is the third book in the Elemental Dragon series. References will be made to previous events that occurred in those books. It is recommended that you read The Arena and The Dark Protector before reading this book.
This was a much deeper read emotionally than some of the others. Watching Zephyr battle her demons and come out on the other side was tough but incredible character development. All of Cooper’s books are great reads!
That book was a thought one. It showed how one person can destroy many lives with his evel intent and even that amazing group of supernaturals can help all those he ruined. And the worst he made a mother suffering for wonting her child safe .

Another fantastic installment in the Elemental Dragons series! 🐉✨ I loved that this book took a slightly different direction than the first two, especially with the main character’s intense inner battle. She showed a kind of strength not many possess, and Ishir was absolutely perfect for her. He complemented her in that special way only fated mates can. These two are such a great pair! ❤️🔥
This book felt more emotional to me than the previous ones, and I found myself even more connected to the characters. 💛 The plot progression continues to impress. There’s the overarching storyline tying the whole series together, but each book also has its own smaller, unique plot that gives it a special identity. I really enjoy that balance. 🔥📚
I can’t wait to keep reading and watch how the school evolves, how the families shift, and how the characters continue to grow. I am very excited for Ancalagan’s story! 🖤🐲
