Pulled into the deadly, game-like world of Dungeon End and broadcast to the entire globe, Leon was given nothing but a single skill… and a death sentence. Yet against all odds, he survived. He adapted. He evolved.
Now, the world watches his every move—cheering, doubting, dissecting. To some, he’s a rising hero. To others, a ticking time bomb.
But as Leon ventures deeper into the dungeon, the challenges grow deadlier, the enemies more cunning, and the cost of survival even steeper.
With his loyal slimes at his side, he fights not just to stay alive, but to unravel the secrets behind Dungeon End—and its mysterious connection to Earth itself.
Book 2 of the Slimemancer LitRPG Series. Get ready to ooze into action—this dungeon just leveled up.
This story takes the "standard" Litrpg storyline and somehow manages to make it a refreshing read. Instead of overpowered skills or stats our Hero scrapes his way through an uncaring and unfair world by making clever decisions (and pure stubborness!). I was constantly on the edge of my seat wondering how he was going to avoid being overwhelmed by his enemies.
After having just binged Book One of this series I was pleasantly surprised at how it transitioned into book two. A lot of series will restate what happened in previous books so often the current story becomes disjointed from all the flashbacks. This author found a way of relaying that info with enough detail to make it easy to read the books out of order and still enjoy every part of both books.
I'm very shy and feel guilty I don't write reviews of all the books I read but I enjoyed the Slimemancer series so much I decided to step outside my comfort zone and share my thoughts. Hope you have a chance to dive into this story. it's worth the read!
I am about halfway through this and it’s PEAK. Perhaps even better than book 1?! Okay, so I’ve finished it now and I was unable to put down my Kindle for the better part of the evening, which should tell you just how engaging this series is. Volume 2 has some more character development and worldbuilding, which I would say makes it an improvement over its prequel…except that you can’t really improve perfection. I absolutely loved every second of this, from the battles to the intrigue to discovering the fate of Leon’s ‘Bloodzerker’ character.
