This women's Bible study contrasts life’s gritty emotions with God’s enduring, steadfast love.
Too often we see emotion as something to avoid. This study of the Psalms will show how our human emotions are gifts from God for which we should be thankful. Our Creator has emotions, and He created us in His image. Our emotions are reflections of who we are in Him. They remind us of our need for a Savior from sin. They also help us live rich, wholehearted lives through the transformative work of the Holy Spirit.
This review of 25 emotions reads like a playlist of songs and contain true stories, journal challenges, real discussion, and a candid look at God’s ageless love. Readers will be encouraged to consider their own story to see how hope and joy and helplessness and regret are important aspects of who we are as God’s beloved and redeemed daughters.

This was my Women's Bible Study for this semester, and I truly enjoyed it! Hergenrader frames the book around 25 emotions as found in the Psalms. The chapters were relevant to modern day life, and enough digging into the Psalms without feeling too little or too much. I was able to keep up every day during the study, which is huge!
This may be my favorite study of the author's to date. I liked the format and that you could use one chapter as mini study on its own as well as a great jumping off point for a super deep dive.
