An Iron Warriors warband desperately seeks new war materiel, though the task is hardly a simple one as they must overcome the faith and fury of the Adepta Sororitas.
READ IT BECAUSE
Where do daemon engines come from, and is it possible to corrupt the sacred machines of the Adepta Sororitas? The Iron Warriors are seeking answers to both questions in this story.
THE STORY
After limping away from a defeat at the hands of the Black Templars, Iron Warriors warband Olympia’s Bellows is in dire need of replacement daemon engines. An opportunity arises for apothecary-turned-warpsmith Nikia Belevonis to seize some holy war engines from the Adepta Sororitas, but are these sacred machines corruptible?
The ends justify the means...and what a way Avalon Irons' desribed it! A blast of a short story from a new contributer to Black Library fiction.
I'd be keen to see where Nikia and his cohort lope off to in a future short or novel even; the kind of conflicted character he was described as was truly refreshing.
