My brother is what you might lovingly call on overachiever, which basically means he puts way too much pressure on himself and gets a little stressed out at times.

Luckily for him, he’s got me, and no matter how tightly wound he gets, I can always get a laugh out of him.

I ate this shit up. Typical Becca Vale over-the-topness, not afraid to go there, smut that still manages to be sweet and yummy too.

I did feel like maybe, just maybe Vale tried to squeeze a bit too much in there—the internal turmoil, the experimenting with non-sexual age play, ALL the types of age play—for a novella. I’m not sure if she was worried some readers wouldn’t stick around if she just jumped right in full throttle, but I’ve read way freakier shit when there was no age play involved, so…maybe just go for broke next time?

Otherwise…muah!

I've read a lot of age play and although this was a quick read, it was the realest I've ever felt. I'm amazed that this author isn't better known, she is amazing. The characters feel very distinct from one book to another and the relationship, feelings and reactions feels authentic. She manages to create a world equally smutty and wholesome with taboo themes. I'm officially a fan of hers and look forward to reading more of her amazingness.

I like how this one was written. It might be the first one where I genuinely felt hesitance from the characters when the thought of sleeping with each other popped in their heads. Then the progression into age-play was actually really good, better then some of the full length books I've read. Mostly because they felt awkward and not everything worked for them.

I was... surprised by how much detail this moment was given. But never fear! Then we get that squirmy, brother loving sex as well.

Skylar (Sky Sky) and Leif (Daddy) stumbled across a paci and it went down a rabbit hole from there. As always, you get your smutty incest-y brotherly love and this time with a dose of Daddy/little kink. I have read Age Play before and prefer it with lots of fluff, so I didn’t enjoy it as much here, but its hard to get that when it needs/the goal is for it to be smutty and short. Still, it is well written. I do prefer Becca’s short story “Little Brother’s Bedtime” better.



It can be safely assumed all of my reviews are from books that are 1st Person, have a HEA, and have no intimate or spicy scenes with anyone/thing other than MC(s). I try to rate books objectively if they have something I don’t typically like (i.e. Break Ups, SA, 3rd Person, Single POV, Sharing Partners). If it’s still written well the author deserves the praise but I will make note to avoid for myself in the future. I do my best to mark different triggers/warnings as well as the intimate acts performed in case anything listed/done might not be something you would want to read. If M/M, Age Play, Interspecies, Insta Love, Erotica, MPreg, or Incest are something you actively avoid, you are probably better off avoiding most of the books I review.
