Why isn't this a video game?

The Archie interpretations of both Sonic and Megaman had been amazing, Sonic specifically since Ian Flynn started his run. Both being under the same publisher it was just a matter of time for a crossover to happen.

Given that both Sonic and Megaman are published by Archie, a crossover was inevitable. Interestingly, instead of continuing from their ongoing comic storylines, the crossover leverages the characters' video game universes, appealing to a broader audience while retaining the comic's signature writing style.

The plot is straightforward: classic villains, Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily, team up with plans to dominate the world, but they must first eliminate their heroic adversaries. The heroes initially clash but soon uncover a conspiracy, prompting them to unite against the common threat.

The art style in the first and third parts is great, but it did blunder during the middle parts, it was an awful style for Megaman.

Despite these artistic inconsistencies, the climax successfully evokes the excitement and engagement of playing a video game, which I wish I could play.

It's been a long time since I read this. It somehow slipped out of my review queue.

So I think I have it right but I might not. I remember as being pure, goofy fanservice without too much inside the candy shell. But fun enough in moments (with character bits largely reserved for the villains' symmetrical scheming.)

Did I get it right?

A great way to read a whole arc without needing to collect all the various comics from different sub series and the like.

DREAMS!
Like every sprite-comic artist's dream come true...
But aside from continuity issues, this was the dopest crossover of video-game/comic book icons of all time! Had everything my little video-game lovin' heart desired.

Definitely a must read for fans of either character! I think the Blue Bomber gets more page-time, but no complaints as he's my favorite.

Continuation of normal storyline, kinda elementary. Glad to see some familiar faces, some impressive drawings. Somewhat confusing ending.
