What a great start to this new beachy women's contemporary fiction series. This is not a standalone, but the first part of the story. It already pulls on the heartstrings, as single mother Tanya faces the struggles of job loss, failure at job searching, and parenting. When she is almost at rock bottom, she receives the information that she has been named in her late ex-mother-in-law's will as a beneficiary. This sets off a chain of events that begins to set the backdrop to the story as she and her son, Myles, travel to the Texas coastal town for the reading of the will. She is named the beneficiary of both a home on the water and an antique store in the small tourist town. The ex-brother and sister-in-law are contesting the will. We find that there are hidden secrets on both sides. The book ends with a cliffhanger and I am intrigued to find out what happens in book two.

That was a shock for Tanya because her mother-in- law never liked her, but it couldn’t have come at a better time for single mother who is at her lowest. Tanya faces the struggles of loosing her job & having to look for another while trying to look after her son all on her own. When she is almost at rock bottom. New beginnings

Tanya is down on her luck when she gets a message that her ex mother in law has died and she is in the will. With nothing to loose, she packs up and with her son, Myles, and head to Magnolia Harbor, Texas. Here she finds the woman who hated het, left Tanya her home and antique shop. Tanyas dead ex husbands , brother and sister are furious and plan to contest the will. The attorney doesn't think they can do anything and,for het to move forward but she can't sell either. The problem with being back in Magnolia Harbor is all the secrets from the past. The biggest secret surrounds Ryder, who has now stepped back into her life and helping her clean out the house and shop. Will the past raise its ugly head?

Single mother Tanya is in trouble. She lost her job and is about to lose her apartment. Much to her surprise her ex-mother-in-law passed away and left her a home and business. This made no sense because she was aware how much the woman disliked her. Having no other option she traveled to Texas for the reading of the will. She is met by a lot of family drama and is approached by an old boyfriend. She is happy to see him but is keeping a huge secret from him. There is a cliffhanger ending.

Tanya is left a house and an Antique Shop by her EX- Mother in law( who never really liked her ).

She is beyond surprised, as she has an Ex Sister and Brother in law (that are contesting the will).

She also has a son, Myles, no money and no job. YIKES!!!

A Very Good Book 📖
