A very unexpected ending to an interesting series.
All in all, this was a very interesting erotic adventure that followed two different MC's, with similar mystic pattern affinities.
I enjoyed the plucky outsider at an advesarial mage academy trope. It was fun to read. The MC, Max took the opportunity to get naked with some Kitsune students, while the student council became his nemesis. Can't say that I enjoyed the ending. Though the stories of the two MC's of the series converged. The story was very intriguing up through Max escaping from prison and returning to America to rejoin his GF's in the timeline. His handling of Oota and Naomi along with Yasumi's betrayal were quite disappointing.
