Eeeeehhh…yeah no. How is this volume 1? The entire story arc is resolved by the end, which is nice, but how will the story progress?

Also, the title is kinda misleading, just sayin’.

3, it was a pleasant enough read but no driving urge to read more, stars.

Bell never picks up girls in a dungeon, Rishe's not a villainess, the other world's books only kind of depend upon the bean counter, Richard's not just a jeweler, and Mille-Feuille never has to worry about becoming the dragon duke's maid.

I'm getting tired of these light novel titles that are just collections of buzzwords.

That aside, this was cute.

The blurb had me intrigued, but what we got was not exactly what the blurb described. A somewhat misleading title and blurb is one thing if we got a decent story otherwise, but it was disappointing in that regards as well. It was a simplistic trope laden story more about research into alchemy where the MC thinks of things you would expect others to have thought off ages before the MC was born and simplistic characters (with the villain having a very odd motivation). The world building felt off as well, especially in regards to the male versus female dragons, but the magic system felt ad hoc as well. All in all, not a book for me.

I haven't read a story this terrible in a long time. I wanted to give it a 1-star, my first ever, but decided to be kind.

Everything about this book just confused me. Even now, my head still hurts trying to wrap my head around the baffling unfolding events, characters that don't make sense, all in a setting that's as vague as the connection of this book's title to the plot. Everything was so messy which is a shame because the title and synopsis was so good. But the reality is this disappointment.

I'm a bit confused why this series is titled the way it is because I can't recall a single moment that the main character actually does any true maid work for the Dragon Duke...

Aside from that, it's a cute story. A bit of fluff, a bit of mystery, and a bit rushed at points, and I most definitely didn't expect it to end at the conclusion it did. "It's a wrap, people!" Didn't see that coming. I thought this was a multi-volume series— It is.

We'll see what the next volume brings.

I am always a fan of dragons and dragon shifters. This story is about a woman who has strong feelings and beliefs about the current state of the dragon kingdom. The title is a bit misleading as we have already moved past that point after volume 1.

Great Read

Great story I'm a little disappointed this series only has 2 volumes so far unfortunately I am gonna start volume 2 and see how it ends off
