"Return to Simple" is truly a breath of fresh air. It encourages us to step back from the chaos of our fast-paced world and reconnect with the fundamentals of nourishing living. This book offers a warm embrace and a perspective steeped in faith and simplicity in a society that often feels overwhelming. I found the author’s insights on modern food choices eye-opening, especially how she highlights the issues with the Standard American Diet and our reliance on processed foods. It made me reflect on the importance of embracing whole, nutrient-dense foods, just like our ancestors did. One aspect that particularly resonated with me was the author's take on sunlight, diet, and skin health. Reading about how she challenges the conventional fears surrounding sun exposure was fascinating. Her theory that rising skin cancer rates could be linked to our shift toward processed seed oils got me thinking. It reminds us how closely our nutrition can affect our overall health, including our skin’s resilience. Plus, the emphasis on vitamin D and its benefits for sleep and hormonal balance struck a chord, reminding me of the importance of a balanced approach to sunlight, not just fear of it. The book also dives into the significance of sleep hygiene, which I've been trying to prioritize more in my life. It’s great to see this issue getting the attention it deserves, as maintaining good sleep is essential for our well-being. Overall, "Return to Simple" made me rethink my habits and approach to health in an attainable and inspiring way. It challenges you to create space for what truly matters amidst the busyness of life. If you're looking for a guide that resonates with the heart and offers practical wisdom, I definitely recommend giving it a read!

In her groundbreaking book Return to Simple, Kim offers readers a clear path to healing the effects of modern diets that have fueled numerous health concerns and food addictions. She challenges readers to release limiting beliefs, embrace an open mindset, and rediscover traditional eating principles that have been lost in our contemporary world.
Through this approach, readers have successfully reversed chronic conditions including obesity, diabetes, and autoimmune diseases. Many have reduced or eliminated their need for medications and reclaimed healthier, more vibrant lives.
Kim reveals a growing natural health movement centered on the "food-is-medicine" philosophy—a powerful approach to not just improving health but actually healing the body from within. Since food companies can't profit from these simple dietary changes, this information rarely reaches us through mainstream media or conventional medical channels.
Take control of your well-being by embracing this simple yet profound way of eating. Your journey toward healing both body and mind begins with this return to nutritional simplicity.

Return to Simple: Chapter 1 Confused? I was. This first Chapter spoke right at me. CONFUSED I WAS! Yes, I needed my health to be simple and was confused and overwhelmed in what foods I needed to eat, that would help me in my journey of recovery. After working with Kim and after a few weeks it would be about time to make dinner for my husband and thought to myself goodness gracious, frantically thinking I needed to prep something for dinner. Then I remembered that a few eggs, made with butter or bacon grease and a bit of left over chuck roast with beef bone broth was the perfect meal for him. He was eating carnivore with a blindfold on before me and I needed to do “my” research and have some type of “easy” plan to follow. And “Return To Simple” is that simple plan to optimal health! I am not confused anymore. Thanks Be to God!!! 🙏🏽 Thank you for the gift you gave Kim!!! She in turn gave my family and I a lifelong gift of health! “Return To Simple Health!!! 🙏🏽🥰

Kim had me at “simple.” Particularly, making meal time simpler. But I couldn’t stop there… making one area simple led to making more areas simple!

In her gentle way, Kim lays out the path to reclaim a way of life that has gotten lost in our generation. But it’s never too late to take a few steps “backward” to make giant leaps forward in your health and sanity.

I’ve applied many of the changes and have benefited from them greatly. Living intentionally, with purpose, and with how God created us to be is the key to thriving in the world today.
I encourage you to slow down, find a comfy chair, pick up Return to Simple, and let the words pour over your heart and mind. Reclaiming our connections to God, ourselves, and others is a gift, and living life His Way makes all the difference.

Simple doesn’t always mean easy, but I promise it’s worth the effort!

This book covers it all. The author gives many key principles in 23 chapters to help readers return to simple which is more healthy. The way we are supposed to live. This is Christ-centered, which I appreciated. She says from the very beginning that simple doesn’t mean easy. We are suffering from a lack of wisdom that used to be intuitive. A healthy lifestyle is no longer instinctive. But there is power in simplicity.

She references ancestral wisdom, something I wasn’t familiar with. She encourages readers to consume healthy, which relates not just to food, but also our thoughts, habits, and our entire lifestyle.

I enjoyed this book; it is very actionable. By the end, I didn’t just feel inspired—I felt changed. My priorities were clearer. If you’ve been craving a reset for your body, mind, and spirit, Return to Simple is the answer. Highly recommend.

This book is profound and life changing, if you allow for the simplicity of its foundational concepts to seep into your mind and heart. It’s a book of how truth is and can be found and applied to all facets of your life.
Its roots have an ancestral and spiritual feeling; a melding experience, if you will. It reminds the reader that our food is by design simple and delicious, but yet we’ve over complicated it in modern day society.
Kim is a genius as she writes and unfolds the story of how to reclaim our health. It’s quite apparent that she’s also guided by God and therefore writes from a place of boldness to share this message of Simple Presence!
I’d highly recommend this read.
Thank you Kim !
