Book 1 £6.19 per Witching Hour
Julia Taylor works as a recruitment consultant for Paranormal Personnel in London.
It seems as though she has an ordinary life but in reality Julia is half elf and she works for a recruitment agency for paranormals.

She is normally calm, confident and is not afraid to stand up for herself, but when the meeting with La Caz Corporation doesn’t go as well as she hoped, she wants to bury herself under the ground and die.

Nathaniel La Caz is a player and he wants to seduce Julia. The incredible sexual chemistry that builds up between them complicates her life to the point where she can’t control her magic. La Caz not only wants her but he also has a craving for her blood. Then her ex-boyfriend Jasper comes back on the scene and nearly exposes the whole paranormal world to humans when trying to protect her.

It doesn't end well when vampires and elves mix. The problems start escalating when Julia witnesses the kidnapping of her cousin Claudia on the busy street. From then on things only go from bad to worst. More elves and fairies begin to vanish in London without trace and the police suspect vampires. Julia is determined to find Claudia even if it means she will get herself into more trouble.

Book 2 Past the Witching Hour
Julia is determined to forget about her recent break up and just move on, but this doesn’t come easy when she have to deal with her ex-boyfriend’s company every day.

When her regional manager Rufus, asks her to attend a networking event she can’t wait to break the routine and just have some fun. The same night he disappears and Nathaniel La Caz who was supposed to be in Switzerland interrupts Julia’s sales pitch.

Yet again Julia can’t control her magic and Nathaniel insists that he wants her back. Her mind screams no, but the flames of desire are instantly rekindled.

Apart from dealing with kidnapping, knocking out rapists in the dark alley and just getting on with life itself Julia discovers that her regional manager had been kidnapped. The rival agency is ready to take over the contract with La Caz Corporation and Ella wants nothing to do with her.

Soon she is caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Can she find happiness with a half vampire when everyone else is against it?

Book 3
Half Past the Witching Hour
After months of anguish and pain Julia’s life is finally getting back on track. She is seeing a handsome giant, an art dealer named Quentin, the agency is getting a lot of business and she is finally over her ex.

All of the sudden her peaceful life shifts, when she blacks out and wakes up several hours later with blood on her hands and with no recollection of what’s happened to her. But life must go on and Julia carries on with her morning, stressed and worried about the future. When she arrives at La Caz Corporation, she stumbles upon a dead body, her ex- co worker Jennifer Griffiths. She starts seeing visions of herself wandering around streets with a knife, the same knife her ex-co worker has been murdered with.

Sadly this is just the beginning of her problems as more petrifying visions keep haunting her thoughts. She begins seeing her mother dying in the fire, screaming for help, and when a new enigmatic elderly elf shows up with an offer that she can’t turn down, nothing seems to be making sense anymore.

She knows for sure that she has to do everything in her power to prevent her visions from happening, which means that she has to start taking some magic lessons and learn to put her trust in strangers.

She gets pulled into the most dangerous game of desire, death and magic. She has to fight her beliefs, understand herself and face the internal struggle of what’s wrong and what’s rig

This is not the easiest series for me to review. I really love the premise of the story, and really wanted to like it (and some parts I did really like), but overall it just fell flat. The first two books were extremely slow and left me completely uninterested until the last couple chapters. The third book held my attention throughout. The characters were completely one-dimensional and predicable, which got very annoying. The main character is particularly frustrating with her continuously same choices, actions and misgivings. I felt I was in the same scenarios with the same outcomes with different drama surrounding it. The series continues on (I think there's two more books?), but I don't think I can bring myself to go through the same situations over again. I'm so disappointed; I really want to like this more than I do.

I loved this! The story was the perfect mix of Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance. I felt that the characters had the right amount of reaction to their situations, without being too dramatic. It's important to me for the characters to be relatable and I found that I could easily put myself in the shoes of the MC, and even the side characters. another thing that is important to me is that an author is descriptive. Not only in the characters themselves, but in the setting. Not once did I get confused or unable to picture where the characters were and what was happening. Because this was the first thing I have read by this author I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I love this series. I at anxious to start the next book!

A Complex Story About Love and Magic

It is quite a journey with lots of twists and turns and tough decisions for the characters. Just when you think you know where it is headed, you get another surprise. I really enjoyed the story and couldn't put it down once I got started. I wanted to know it was going to end. I am glad the author didn't give a simple ending that tied everything neatly up. Life is messy and love makes it even more complicated.

Thrilling and emotional!

I went through every emotion imaginable reading these books! I fell in love with the characters immediately. Julia and Nathaniel....The ups and downs, Julia's out of control power and other super Naturals trying to kill her. These books are amazing! It's definitely a must-read series. I'm off to read Book 4!

I had high hopes for this series. Unfortunately the writing and dialogue leaves much to be desired in the WOW department. The writing and storyline were middle line at best, and I would have given this 3 stars, but the dialogue was stiff, and painful to read. The story at times seemed to weave a bit in ways that made no sense.

Very, very slow. Like, first she got up, then she walked into the bathroom to brush her teeth. She picked up her toothbrush with the pink handle and the blue stripes that she bought at Walmart last week......... etc. OK, maybe that was a slight exaggeration, but I do mean slight.

Really wish Book 2 had been edited. Book 1 was fairly good but the characters kept getting on my nerves. Not interested in a vampire who says things whiny like "whatever," especially when he is the leading man. Abandoning it for now and not sure I will be finishing this series.
