“Losing her mind wasn’t an experience she enjoyed.”

After a steamy night of passion with a dark stranger, Arbor’s life takes on a surreal edge. Disturbing dreams, lapses in memory, and entire buildings going missing are only a few of her problems. Her search for answers leads her to Detective Trey Murphy, the man in charge of investigating satanic and ritualistic crime for the New Orleans area.

Where do you turn when your mind is the enemy?

Meeting Trey only adds to Arbor’s confusion. By day, he keeps her captivated and gains her trust in a way no one else ever has. At night, Arbor’s every fantasy is brought to life by two sexy men who steal away her inhibitions. Torn between what her heart knows is real and what her eyes show her, Arbor must find the truth before she loses herself completely.

But, then again, sometimes reality is more twisted than any dream and love is the cruelest form of insanity.

**Author Note**
Warning: This isn’t your typical love story. It’s dark with scenes some may find disturbing. Sometimes love is senseless, and the heart is so very stupid.

4 twistedly sated stars
"I belong to these men. Heart, body, and soul. I am now sated.”

Warning: This isn’t your typical love story . It’s dark with scenes some may find disturbing. Sometimes love is senseless, and the heart is so very stupid.

(Dark Romance, F/M and M/M scenes, Rock Star Romance, Ménage, Sexy Detective, Alpha Male, Supernatural themes)

Sated is one of those you just have to read it for yourself. There is enough in the warning to see if it is something you will enjoy. Although my darkness meter is higher than most, I didn't find this at all dark, the M/M scenes not as abundant as I wanted (especially with the sexy Killian and Lyric) but it was enjoyably twisted especially when things began to reveal itself. Addictively enticing, and has your mind reeling and you may or may not pick a man for you. But for Arbor, she needed all three she just didn't know it yet.
sometimes reality is more twisted than any dream and love is the cruelest form of insanity.

Ive never took drugs, but feel like ive just come off some! I loved this book but am also confused a little, but wouldnt have missed that ride.

This book has some seriously hot characthers in and scorching sex scenes containing a total mix of MF, MMF and MMMF!

I dont think I could explain book if I tried at the moment and even if I sleep on it would still struggle.

I really liked Trey but Killian was very sexy as was Lyric, Arbor she enjoyed them all - but to what end? you'll have to make your own mind up!

4 steaming hot sex with a twist stars.

"There's a difference between satisfied and sated. A subtle yet powerful difference. I want to be sated."

Arbor Sinclair has gone unnoticed through life until one fateful night when she enters a club where she knows she doesn’t belong…where she will be noticed.

Killian and Lyric are members in the band Exile. Not only are they bandmates, they are the very best of friends as well as lovers. The second Arbor walks into the club, Killian and Lyric know she is the one that will complete them.

Arbor has never felt love, and especially not the intensity she feels with Killian and Lyric. “These men were her one-way ticket to Hell, and she was going down with a smile on her face.” How far are they willing to go to keep their love alive…to stay together for always?

Did you “smile as you gave away your heart…sigh as you traded your body…moan as you lost your soul.” How far will they go to be sated?

Trey has been hired by the band to keep Arbor safe. His one job is to protect Arbor…and if the worst should happen, bring her to Killian and Lyric to take care of her. But what happens when the protector falls in love with the girl he’s sworn to protect at all costs?

This story completely blew my mind! It’s a dark twisted romance that will keep you guessing right up till the last sentence! Highly recommend!

This book was a very confusing when I saw this book and it had good rating I thought it would be ok. This was my first time reading this author the sex scenes were very good. I love reading a good menage and m/m/f is my favorite with that being said this book left me confused. I felt like I was dreaming reading this book, like I was in a cloud the whole time, not sure if it’s real or not, just like Arbor. Arbors feels like she was dreaming after a unforgettable, hot night spent with Killian, a famous rocker from the band Exile. She’s dreamt dreams like this before because she always feels like her life is missing something and she’s invisible to people. In her dreams, or reality, she sees herself with three men, Killian the rocker, Lyric a rocker, both from the famous band Exile and Trey a detective who investigates satanic ritual murders. This was a dark erotic rocker romance and for that I gave the book 4 stars because the sex scenes were hot and steamy.

If I had to use one word to describe this story, it would be "Enthralling"!

Sated follows Arbor, a woman afraid of being invisible, through her struggle to choose Trey (the ultra hot & alpha New Orleans detective) and Trillian & Lyric (the sexy and darkly sensual duo from the band Exile). Does she listen to her heart or does she listen to her mind that keeps trying to tell her something isn't right? How does she choose? What will it take for her to be "Sated"?

Charity Parkerson has outdone herself with this dark erotic story. It pushes some boundaries, but does it in a way that pulls the reader in and won't let go. I literally couldn't put it down. I just HAD to know what happened next! I will be reading this one over and over again.

If you're looking for a read that grabs the heart, mind, and imagination while keeping you in suspense and pushing you beyond the norm then Sated is the book for you!

OMG! I was kind of confused with this book at first, but after reading more and more, I became addicted. WOW! I sure was not expecting what happened to happen. All the pull from these characters, Killian, Lyric, Trey and Arbor. There was so much hotness with them together. All the world didn't exist when they were together. Each character played off the others, but together and it worked for them. Then the time came that Trey had to step up and really protect Arbor. When Trey made his decision, it was for Arbor, only Arbor, to protect Arbor. Loved this because of the darkness that surrounded the ending. This was an absolute lip biter, hotter than hell, steamy, sexy, thriller of a book. I give this 5 stars.

Wonderfully melancholy and lovingly enchanting
Dream sequences can be disorienting. For readers who prefer the straight linear timeline, this is a book to pass. For those who like to guess what is going on and those who enjoy a story out of sequence, similar to the movie style of Pulp Fiction, this book is for you. This story starts out simply in a bar with Arbor trying to avoid a guy picking her up. She's here to watch a band she loves. The lead singers Lyric and Killian are super gorgeous and it feels as if the songs are being sung just to her. When they stop to talk to her, she's surprised and thrilled. From an erotic standpoint, the sexual tension between Arbor and her men is humming with erotic energy. The fact that the men are all sexually at ease with each other and physically loving with each of the parties in this sexual combination is so hawt. For some, the sex may be a bit graphic. For me, it's mild. I tend to read very graphic sexual encounters. For those who hate the fading to black, have no fear, it does not happen here. The number of sexual episodes in this book is just the right amount to keep a reader engaged and Arbor off balance. This book moved me. The constant confusion Arbor experiences in this story is disorienting but for those who loved the movie What Dreams May Come, this story will generate the similar longing pain. This is a love story and whilst the blurb indicates it is dark. It is not. I consider dark to be more twisted, sadistic or sexually torturous. This book is dark through its depressing plot and it makes me melancholy. It is soul wrenchingly sadness because within the first few chapters, I'm already guessing what is going on and I'm not happy about it. I'm not happy because I can anticipate where this is going and it's the journey which makes me unhappy and filled with sorrow. Arbor's life feels like snapshots in time and she loses days. She feels like she is missing something but whenever Lyric and Killian show up, she feels complete. The flashes back in time as well as information provided through news clippings gives this book a slightly eerie foreboding feel. Ms. Parkerson is a new to me author and I like this writing style. It's very different and makes me uncomfortable. It heightens my emotions and makes this book memorable. The characters themselves are not complex yet they are so memorably in how they relate to Arbor and specifically Arbor's journey. It's a page turning book where each page, I'm waiting for the final reveal and when it happens, it's a bit horrific. It's worse than I expected and it causes me to tear up in the loss and sacrifice. And through all of this pain, Ms. Pakerson delivers a beautiful happily ever after. It's shocking. This book is highly recommended to romance lovers who believe love will conquer all.

This book is both trippy and mesmerizing; alluring and mystifying and will leave you completely enamored.

Okay so I need to be honest at first I was a bit confused with some of what was going on in the story. The plot in this book is very unique and it is equally told in a unique fashion that takes some getting used to.

Its very dream like and in some ways you feel like you are floating through parallel periods of time. Time that is all compounding on top of each other and there is this point where all those timelines will meet and everything will be explained. I felt like I was constantly being pulled towards this light at the end of the tunnel, if you will, that would make everything that happened in this story make sense. And it in fact did.

Parkerson created a very deeply emotional paranormal story and despite some of the very intense erotic and 'wholly molly' steamy parts in this book, I don't think any of that detracted from the story. If anything it enhanced the intensity of the emotions that were being felt by the characters. There was something so beautiful about the relationship between the four individuals in this story, something so compelling, so strong yet so fragile all at the same time. I loved the way Parkerson relayed some of the most tender moments between Killian, Lyric, Trey and Arbor on paper. They were full of compassion, love and heartbreak. I even found myself breathless at times reading the emotion behind Parkerson's words and visualizing how these characters would be completely enraptured with one another.

If you want a completely different kind of paranormal/erotic story then this is your book. I really loved this story and I thought the ending was both moving, passionate and perfect.

“There’s a difference between satisfied and sated. A subtle yet powerful difference. I want to be sated,” states Arbor Sinclair, a woman fascinated by three men.

Was I Sated with this dark, lyrical and sexy offering? OMG! Yes!

One of my favorite authors, the unbeatable Ms. Charity Parkerson’s sexy and oh-so-naughty story Sated was a super cool read. Extremely well crafted, this tale delves into the passionate and revealing lives of four people: two musicians in the rock band Exile, a detective, and Arbor - in guess where? New Orleans, which is a world all of its own, and the place the neat weird stuff happens.

Just how far this sexy trio of guys will go to insure the future happiness of their love of life (Arbor), is an incredible example of what one does for love. I won’t describe how the events unfold as I don’t do spoiler reviews, so you’ll have to grab the book and find out for yourself. I do warn you it’s meant for mature audiences, and since Ms. Parkerson never disappoints me, I’m sure you’ll be pleased.

One more thing: If you’re looking for an alluring, mysterious story written with just the right degree of sexual tension, supernatural overtones, some bad-boy behavior and a whole lot more, Sated is the book for you.

This is a surreal and confusing story...and I’m not sure if I like it or not. Though the blurb says it’s dark...I had been warned.

You have an introduction for each chapter that seems to show a diary of events, which I assume is the real-time including tragedy. Then the main part of the chapter, which is part beautiful love story of events between rock band frontmen Killian and Lyric with the girl, Arbor, who all know they are meant to be on first sight, but are some paranormal events or real...? Ménage sex scenes between the three including MMF and MM with F and then an added sexual twist with one Trey...detective in charge of occult, as a foursome are erotic and delightful.

Then the disaster and ending or is it...well, this is where I prefer to know things, not spend hours wondering what the hell I have just read and did it mean what I think it meant, until I’m annoyed.

It’s well written, edited, but I’m left confused and this I’m not comfortable with...hence I’m saying 3 to 3.5 stars.

Now, I’m off to see what others thought...and is it just me fully confused and actually disappointed the ending is as is.

Are they ghost or real!!:" Sated" by Charity Parkerson
The author had me from page one! I felt like I was dreaming reading this book, like I was in a cloud the whole time, not sure if it's real or not, just like Arbor. The characters rock! The author touches on satanic rituals in New Orleans. Arbors feels she was dreaming after a unforgettable, hot night spent with Killian, a famous rocker from the band Exile. She's dreamt dreams like this before because she always feels like her life is missing something and she's invisible to people. In her dreams, or reality, she sees herself with three men, Killian the rocker, Lyric a rocker, both from the famous band Exile and Trey a detective who investigates satanic ritual murders. All three smokin hot bodies and she has them all. It's more than just sexual between this trio. Can they survive their special relationship? Download yours to find out. Many twist and turns in this story, the ending blew me away!

Wow! What a Trip!

Enter the world of Killian and Lyric. Don't be afraid. Or maybe you should be. You decide.

Oh my God, yes, confused, but in a good way. I had a love hate relationship with this story. At times, I hated being confused, but then, loved not knowing what the hell was going on. It was dark. The description doesn't lie about that. It was sexy, heated and completely addicting, most likely the sexiest story I've ever read.

The writing was fabulous, Charity has a gift that is not to be denied, and the story was very well thought out. At first I thought not, but when you get to the end and you realize Ms. Parkerson did have a plan and it all makes sense. I want to read this book again just so I can relive the darkness and the complexity of it. Thanks for writing such an amazing story. This was the first book of Charity Parkerson's that I'd had the pleasure of reading and now I'm hooked on Charity. :)

I have to say I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this one.
Not even going to attempt a recap!
Let's start by saying this is a very short read. Personally I'm not big on Novels, I always feel almost cheated with a short story.
With this on, I actually do not feel that way. This was a total crazy ride that will leave you confused, shocked and drooling at the same time!
I'm not a big a big rock star fan, but defiantly would have been eating out of the hands of the males in this read! It's the passion and desire, that is just mouth watering.. Literally!

Note: There are some M/M scenes in the book, along with multiple partners.

WOW!! Delightful different than what I was expecting. This story has kept me on the edge of my seat..which I was compelled to finish in one sitting. So much mystery and suspense..along with sizzling scenes...Poor Arbor doesn't know which way is up,but she is certainly having fun trying to figure it out.Having the attention of three sexy males helps with her confusion..Is she going crazy? Is she dreaming? Is she in an alternate world? I immensely enjoyed watching her figure it out. Amazing!!

 This book is scorching hot!!!!!!

Sated is one of the most sexy, erotic, hot menage book out. I wish I was the female in this book, with them three alpha males and all their hotness I was scorched. I was a little lost in the first chapter because I was thinking vampires but as I read on I realized it wasn't and what was going on was more, praise for Charity Parkerson on her writing and this book. I enjoyed it so much I'm going to download more of her books.

I LOVED this book. I'm not normally into the whole menage thing, because it's usually written quite badly. Not the case here. The characters were both believable and likable. The sex was HOT! I got a little confused by the timeline here and there, but I got the feeling it was intentional, and it didn't really bother me at all.
I honestly couldn't put it down.

Ah the despair of lost potential!

I think the rest of you all read some other book. Because the one I read was so badly written that I can't even begin with pointing out the faults.

The thing is, I've read books written worse than this. But what makes me madder at this, than those other ones is the loss of a potential masterpiece! The plot. If I pick out the main elements of the plot, the basic theme of the story and rewrite it with proper statement formations, structured POVs, add more details to the plot, give the characters more backgrounds and more depth, make it somewhere around 400 pages - I wonder how satisfactory this story could have been for me!

It took work...

Sated had some hot scenes, no doubt, including MF, and even some MMF, FF, and MM, but it was pretty confusing at times. I felt like the paranormal aspect should've been explained a bit more especially since it's not your typical run of the mill and easy to understand vampire book. While I was able to figure out in the end what was going on, I had to skip back, reread, and put some thought into it. Kudos to the author for a truly unique and interesting idea. I just wish it would have been elaborated on more.

This was one of the best books I have read in a long time. It was nothing like what I was expecting. Every time I thought I had the book figured out, it threw in a new twist. Lots of hot steamy sex with m/m/m/f and f/f/m encounters. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
