When we last left off, Kristen and Markus had gotten into a bit of trouble. Apparently, when you choose the male to be your protector, you are not to be with anyone but him in the hopes of falling in love and mating. Kristen realized she made a huge mistake by choosing Dorian to be hers, and she wants to go back to Markus, but the council won't allow them to be together. She and another Lycan, Toby, come up with a plan to free Markus from his punishment for breaking the rules with her. As soon as Markus is free, they take off running in the hopes of being together forever, with never having to worry about Dorian or the council again. Dorian ends up catching up to them, but has changed somehow, he's not the same. Kristen then realizes that she may never be able to be fully away from Dorian and his new clan. Will Kristen and Markus make it? Will they be safe? Will the town figure out just who and what they are?
This second book in the series had my attention captured. I refused to put it down before I went to bed, and read until it was fully finished. I was drawn in and just when I thought I had predicted what would happen next, I was stopped dead in my tracks. 10/10

Awesome Continuation!
I was gifted this book by Ms. Kent for an honest review.
This second part of this series is very full of action as Marcus and Kristen run from captivity.
Dorian is very disturbed. he wants Kristen back and makes very bad choices in order to get her.
But now Marcus and Kristen have even bigger problems then Dorian, can't wait for the next book in this series to find out how all this will turn out.
So much suspense, intrigue and passion.
Again, when I picked up this 2nd part, I was glued like with the first.
This story is for mature readers due to the strong content.

The things that happens when you make a wrong decision – especially when it comes to love! Kristen was able to get help from a friend Toby, who helped her and Markus escape and try to live on their own. When they reached town, Markus wrote in a note for Kristen to stay put so he could scout the town. But again Kristen not listening to the note and her gut was caught by Dorian. With her picking the wrong mate that is deeply wounded with jealousy for his brother has turned really bad. What is different is that because Dorian is so against his brother Markus, that he leaves his father clan and go with the enemy clan. He is so determined to have Kristen that he would go through any lengths to claim her. However, Markus is just as determined to keep her!
The genuine passion of love between Kristen and Markus along with the suspense of which brother will prevail is intriguing. Good Read!

Werewolves
Who knew choosing a mate happen so quickly. Do not choose wrong! Apparently life is very challenging when you make the wrong choice. After realizing her mistake, trying to rectify the situation is almost impossible.
This couple seems to have gone from the frying pan into the fire. It will be interesting to see how they get themselves out of this mess!

Kristen realized she had chosen the wrong son when she was forced to choose between them and now her and her mate, Markus must escape the pack if they want to be together. In their efforts to escape, a rival wolf pack led by Dorian captures Kristen. Markus rescues her, but their relief is short lived when someone discovers what they are.
Can she and Markus ever have a chance to be together? Can they prove that they are true mates before the pack Alpha captures them?
I read the first book and when I came to the end, I was more than curious to how all this would play out. Kristen was so scared in the first book on how everything would feel, how she would handle changing into a wolf for the first time, would Dorian be there for her?
She got through it with help from Markus; he was there for her the whole time even though she didn’t choose him. He proves to her that he is willing to put her needs above what his father and the pack want or say by leaving with her. I was so excited when they left the pack together and he made sure to take care of, willing to do whatever it took so they could have a chance at a life together.
I would definitely recommend this book! Note: this is a series, so if you haven’t read the first one, I would suggest picking it up as well.

When the clan discovered that Markus had taken his brothers mate, he was sentenced to be chained for six months, although he could transform, he was unable to roam and be free. Kristen's sentence was much less being new to the tribe, she had to honor he selection of Dorian as a mate. Troy came up with a plan to to help Kristen and Markus escape. They discover more than expected at the town they arrive at, and soon they are in trouble. Kristen is found by Dorian who has changed his allegiance to the Vlodiks. Just when they think they are safe, Kristen is being hunted and they have to flee again or risk the safety and secrets of their new friend.
I was so fearful for Kristen in this part, my heart ached for what was going to happen to her, so well written I was actually scared to read for a fraction.

Kristen's decision has made things difficult for her and her love espically after they are caught. With everything in termoil for them they get a chance to escape the clan and start a life somewhere else. With their escape comes problems they never expected and hostility from several sides. They are finally together, but will they be able to stay that way?
Kristen is a force to be reckoned with when she puts her mind to something. Life might be different than what she expected but she'll do what it takes to be happy. And keep her and her love safe.
They face a new set of problems and I enjoyed seeing how they worked together to work things out. Great addition to this series!

One is locked away but when they are attacked she she offers him the chance to go to a small town and see if it they can make it together. She is sure he is her soul mate. He wants her so he goes, but city living is a big change for him. They are hiding from the ones that attacked them and Dorian,big his brother.

Loved this second book even more than the first one. Was pleased with how it picked right back up and kept going. Had me nearly biting my nails at times, then cheering, then laughing. It was refreshing to have a range of emotions in just a single book and a short one at that. I am excited and impatient to be able to read the next book. Hope it comes out soon. This is going to be a great series. I look forward to how the ending will be.

Well written and entertaining to read. Lots of things happening throughout the book. Someone who was thought to be lost is found, a new ally. And a brother’s betrayal to all cuts deep. What can I say, this would have to be on of best werewolf serials I have read. The chemistry between Kristen and Marcus his that of soul mates. Dorian, Markus's brother has a motive. Kate Kent leaves you wanting more, leaves you questioning why Dorian wants to tare these lovers apart.

Received a copy for an honest review.
This is a lovely quick read and a fast pacing story. I liked the
interaction between Markus and Kristen, feel the love and attraction
between them. I quite enjoyed the steamy scenes too. There is a bit of
suspence in the story which made it more enjoyable. The book ended on a
cliffhanger and I am looking forward to part 3.

Great Reading
Exciting it makes you want to get to the end but then you realize that there's another part. so you are making sure that the next part is already published because you are ready for the next part. if you love reading about wolf shifters you will love reading this. it's one of those books that you will want to read again and again.

This book is a great continuation of the series. The connection between Marcus and Kristen grows in this book, and you can't help but truly care about them. There is adventure, suspense, and romance....just everything you want in an adult paranormal series. With a twist at the end that will have you instantly downloading book 3, you won't be able to put this series down!

This is part two and they were separated by the wolf council and she was told to bond with the wolf she chose. They had help in escaping from the encampment so they could be together. But of course now comes the problems that make this an interesting read. On to part three...enjoy I did.

An excellent second book. I loved the first book and waited anxiously for this second and it was worth the wait. A great story line, not like any other and very addictive. I will be waiting for the next book in this series.

I am willing to bet money that Troy is Dorian. First, I couldn't remember a thing about the story and I am glad that Kristen explained what had happened in the previous novella because j couldn't remember a thing. The story ends with a cliffhanger and I want to see how things will go on.

The second part of this series starts off running. I enjoyed this book more than the first. We get some surprises and it is action packed. We are left wondering what part three has in store for us.

So Kristen agrees when it's suggested that she should break Markus out and they should run away together. I seem to remember when Caleb was explaining to them their new situation that they would not be forced into anything and if they did not like their partner after a certain amount of time then they would find a new situation. I just don't understand why waiting the certain amount of time and then explaining that she didn't want to be with Dorian wasn't a more viable option to her. Instead of they run off to who knows where, she's still a missing person, no money and no clue. Just a tad to ridiculous even for a werewolf romance.
