La verdad no leo mucho manga, pero si he visto varios animes BL y al leer este tomo me sorprendió lo rápido que el uke se da cuenta de que siente algo por el otro personaje, que no es solo amistad. Las historias que he conocido hasta ahora siempre el uke tarda un montón en darse cuenta de sus sentimientos, o si pasa “rápido” es porque conocía a esa otra persona hacia tiempo antes. Acá los personajes apenas si se conocen, si pasaron tiempo juntos y ya tienen claro su necesidad de tener al otro cerca.
Me resulta interesante ese planteo, espero que no se desdibuje en los próximos capítulos cayendo en esa típica incerteza del uke, que varias veces es exasperante.

A Love Too Captivating is a Boys-Love High-School manga that is cute, fun, hits in the feels & beautiful to look at!
I found this by a rec post on Facebook & seeing the animated ova (?) on YouTube! The animation was only ch1 + some part of ch2, & a little weird at places, but it was enough to get me captivated (lol) 🙌.
This review is my thoughts for ch1 through ch18, as there's 4 volumes out (I'm guessing they include in it). I read it all on same day! It had quite a cliffhanger at end as it's ongoing but I am loving the story. The manga artstyle is stunning & pleasing. It looked awesome with colors in animation! The MCs are just 16, but damn they look college age 🤣.
Misuzu is a delinquent loner who saves Kitahara from some bullies. M never thought the smart, seemingly quiet K'll be so persistent to be his "friend" 🤭. M's a gorgeous baddie with a nice heart & so expressive 🤣! His flashback kicked me in the feels 😩. K isn't as expressive but I liked his patience & care for M.
It's a bit of Slowburn, with Push/Pull mainly from M's side, but he's got good reasons for it. It's overall low angst, very cute story. It has action & hurt/comfort too. The adults in this world are so useless tho 😤. When they finally became bfs (& the kisses, the lil touches 🥵!!), I cheered. They're adorable 😍. I'm also happy my Misu has friends now 🥰, all thanks to K.
There's still a lot of story to be told for them (I'm assuming), plus there's the blast (friend) from the past in the latest chapters. Hopefully he's not evil 🤔. I'll be looking forward to more ch/volumes!

Misuzu is a Fiesty little kitten scratching Kitahara with his claws then feeling guilty but steps up in a protective stance when the beloved Kitahara is approached by another cat.
Misuzu without Kitahara just anxiously wallowing around.

Kitahar’s questionable moves leaves Misuzu very much confused about of friendship is supposed to feel this way. Why is Kitahara so caring towards him, is he like that with all of his friends or just to him? If so why is he being treated in this special way?
Very cozy comforting vibes love Misuzu’s ability to finally show his vulnerability. Basically came tap tap taping around to Kitahara after he got hurt.
Still, Kitahara is blander than a white lady’s cooked chicken.
Okay to be fair he is mature for his age, has both the IQ and the EQ, isn’t afraid to show affection while maintaining consideration for the other. Fine! He’s okay… i guess… (insert blushing defiant Misuzu)

Són la monada més bufona de l'univers, només vull que els passin coses bones!!! ♥♥♥
Un BL ben ensucrat entre un gamberro d'institut que sempre es baralla i un estudiant seriós, responsable, que s'obsessiona amb l'actitud esquerpa del misteriós noi. Recorda moltíssim a El indomable Zono, però els personatges mantenen una actitud més exagerada i s'intueix un trauma familiar més considerable per part del delinqüent. Amb ganes de més, m'ha semblat una cucada, amb il·lustracions precioses i una intensitat de l'estira-i-arronsa del tot addictiva ♥

Aaahhh, this is definitely going to be one of my favorite manga—the kind I’ll reread over and over again. Even in the second volume, I’m still completely blown away by the art!
The story is a joy to read too. It’s cute, a little sad (but nothing too heavy), and the romance is really subtle in the best way.

Lots of feelings and fear of rejection that are deeper than romantic love. Gosh this poor kid has really been abandoned his entire life... I love the friendship and the hint of more. The art is pretty good to me too.

Eso me pasa por comprar los tomos siguientes sin haber leído el primer tomo antes para saber si me gusta o no la historia.

Aquí vemos como ha avanzado la amistad entre Misuzu y Kitahara. Me encanta que se va dando de manera lenta y natural, no se siente forzado y Misuzu comienza a ver poco a poco a Kitahara con otros ojos, además de que es una ternura al sentirse tan confundido respecto a sus sentimientos.
