I wanted to cut out at most of the pages in this book, frame them, and place them all over my house to remind me that I ultimately choose how to act and feel about the circumstances in my life. The messages were very inspiring and uplifting.

I loved the artwork that went with every message. This would make a thoughtful present for all the girls in your life--no matter how old they are.

This book is so vibrant and full of life. The art on the pages ties so seamlessly with the messages being conveyed. Girls and women every where should be given this book and the words in it should become a mantra. They are affirming and uplifting.

Brave Girls Club: Choose Happy is a short book of collages and affirmations/inspiration. The morals are good, about not comparing yourself to others, working hard, finding what makes you happy and going after it without fear or shame...Not everyone likes platitudes or finds them helpful, but if these inspirational quotes are something that strike your fancy or get you through the day, then this is the book for you. It's not really my thing but I know some people love them.

What a lovely way to enjoy some moments in the sunshine of words of comfort and cheer. I would have loved to read this book over and over when my daughters were younger. The illustrations are sweet; the contents uplifting. I feel this is an appropriate read for anyone from 8-92 (might be a bit old for the younger set). I know I read the last page with a smile on my face and a thought to do better (and be kinder). I especially loved the section on 'Be okay with not knowing'. Favorite line - "We may not be sure what's ahead, but we can be sure we will be okay."

This little gem is pure Brave Girls Club. Melody Ross has filled this lovely book with affirmations for those days when you forget how to be happy, or brave, or comfortable in yourself. I was lucky enough to get this book in my May Soul School box and will keep it close as a reminder that happiness is my choice, not someone else's. It would be a perfect graduation gift or to use as a companion to a journal. All of that said, it won't be right for everyone or even for me in all situations (grieving comes to mind), but it will be just right for many people who need a boost.
