Brett and Evvie
this story is erotic to the point of not being able to read it sometimes cuz it is so hot.. the sex is amazing and the story of these two makes my heart ache. it is beautiful, raw, really,and what everyone dreams of (I know I do). Brett love for her was scary at times but no matter what you could tell she owned his hearts and soul and he owned hers.
I would be curious to hear the author take on the brothers and there stories of love. I will be looking into more books by this author.
(before I read this I read some reviews about it and they compared it to 50 shades trilogy and the crossfire series ... not true it is it's own story yes may have similar things but what book isn't something like another.. I believe this story is hotter than either of the other books:

Starting this book I was beginning to think it was sex,sex and more sex but the final book prooved wrong.
Brett is a possesive male rich and has a past that has made him the way he is until he meets Evvie who is a take no crap female.
Evvie growing up with three possesive brothers and a criminal father doesent take crap from anyone. The characters are likeable lots of drama and epic finish, loved it. Recommended read.

It took me a long time to try to find the words to describe how I feel about this book, and days later I'm still no closer than I was when I finished it.
This box series swept me under it's spell. From the first chapter I was riveted by Evvie"s strength and grace. And Brett Maclean...? The only words to describe this man are "true alpha male".
But it's true what they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and that's never more true than for these two.
It's a never ending battle for Evvie and Brett. Between lies, deceit, trust and a past that (no matter how hard Brett tries to forget) won't leave him be, he learns that the only person who can settle him is her, his one, his only.
But even a saint can only take so much. Is their love strong enough to get thru this mess called life in one piece?

How can I use all the good words?
I suppose that I could just type out all the positive adjectives I could think of and that would pretty much take care of my review! OH. MY. GOSH! This series was absolute perfection!! I love, love, LOVE ALL OF IT! Evvie and Bret are an incredible, perfect couple and it was so great to watch their relationship develop. Part of what had me was the fact that there is a lot of SEX in the book! I don’t want to read an Erotic Romance story that takes you through half the book before things warm up! THIS book definitely is NOT THAT!! But nothing was done just for the sake of doing and every interaction seem to bring them closer in some way. Thank you, JM, for a beautiful love story. You had me going for a minute there (or about 10 times for a minute each), but it was all worth it to get to my HEA!!!

Possessed by You Review: If you want filthy, dirty and angry sexy then you get it in Possessed by you. In my opinion it's very repetitive. Evie and Brett fight, get jealous and then have angry sex. Somehow I manage to see the good side of Evie. Evie loves her family and loyal to them. Evvie's overprotective brothers and father just want what's best for her in their minds. In my opinion it's not worth it.

I liked the story but had several issues. A.) she was just hired and her boss calls her in his office and tells her to have sex with him? That left me feeling icky. B.) “a couple” means two. You can’t say “a couple of weeks” when it was 4.5 or “a couple of months” when it was 6. C.) the timelines for this story were confusing or didn’t match up especially surrounding pregnancy topics. The sex scenes were steamy but some just seemed oddly out of place like she wrote a bunch of sex scenes and then flipped open the book and stuffed them randomly between the pages. Overall, I think her support of him was amazing and their love was passionate and sweet. I wish I would have stopped at this and not read the last one Red. The majority of that just upset and triggered me.

Holy freaking hotness Batman!!
Sweet baby Jesus! This box set has sent me to hell and back with my emotions and heart!
The chemistry is off the charts when Brett and Evvie first meet, it's hot AF and absolutely beautiful and shows no sign of fizzling out. But hell fire, they are put through it with people on all sides trying to interfere. At points my heart broke! When reading about Brett's childhood, it killed me, I seriously wanted to hurt people! *note...My kindle was not harmed during the reading of this box set!
And can I just say......Dr Santos!!! #justsaying

Couldn’t finish
This makes me so sad to have to write this review because I truly love this author! I’ve read plenty other of her books but this box series I couldn’t get through their trip to Mexico. I just ended it and I’ve never ended a book before I’ve always finished but this book just has way too much sex, every page same thing over and over and over again repeating the same phrases, it just gets repetitive and I feel there’s no connection at all besides that there’s no storyline I just can’t read anymore of it.
This makes me so sad to have to write this review because I truly love this author! I’ve read plenty other of her books but this box series I couldn’t get through their trip to Mexico. Two words, BRETT MACLEAN!!! 😍😍 He is one hot SOB!! Him and Evvie are match made perfectly for each other! This trilogy will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. But, you will definitely enjoy the ride. I loved every second of this trilogy and I hope there will be more to come!

A rough journey
These books are like a couples life journey, to finding each other and surviving everything life throws at them to coming out the other side in sunshine. It is an emotional roller coaster. Damn good books worth the read. Couldn’t put them down. Thank You!

As Brett’s past comes into the picture he starts to crack. The broken boy that Brett has been hiding comes out and Evvie realizes that he needs someone besides her to help him deal with his past.
The players from his past cause all kinds of havoc. But they make a fatal mistake that Brett will never forgive.
Is he pushing his dark side on to Evvie to much? Can she handle all of him or is he dooming them with his dark possessive side.
Love how strong they are together that they fight to stay together and help each other through all life throws at them.

As the player in Brett’s past make him have horrible nightmares he wonders if Evvie would be better off without him. Should they divorce? He is working with Dr. Santos and he wonders if they are making progress. He spends a lot of time in his head thinking about things. He is also writing a journal of sorts for his wife. After a horrible tragedy Evvie is trying to heal and also take care of Brett’s need in and out of the bedroom.
The more time they are together the better the relationship is. When the unthinkable happens Brett wonders if he will have to live without his wife. Can they make it through the hard times to come out better for it?
Love how strong they are together that they fight anything to stay together. Love that Brett calls her Lover still years after they have been together and that she has finally started calling him by a sweet nickname also. Brett is her “Baby”.

Part one:
It's too graphic. Its offensive. The dirty talk is raunchy.
There's confidence and then there's conceited. Brett reads conceited and determined to conquer Evvie.
It's a ten hour story and I really hope there is more to the story than all this raunchy rutting. It's overkill when one chapter after the next is Brett sexing Evvie. The stamina is laughable. It reads like a porno with sex and no storyline.
Im an avid reader and look for unique stories, but this offered no originality. I need some story to go along with this sex and I could not connect with either character. This did not appeal to me.
The stories becoming quite repetitive with the sense only being about sex. Did I mention I'm repulsed by the dirty talk?
Part two:
Evvie once again has trust issues. Brett's way of setting her straight is to f#ck the shit out of her. It's a repetition of the first. If I could count the number of times these two have had sex it would fill about eighty percent of the story. I'm so over reading about their sex life. The most toxic relationship I've ever read. They have trust issues, immaturity issues, and jealousy issues. This story did not fulfill any one of my fantasies. Evvie is once again obsessed that people are trying to break them up.
Part three:
Brett is writing in a journal and expressing his thoughts to Evvie. He still battles with his control issues. I'm so tired of hearing Brett say,"I need to be inside you". I don't understand why the author feels the need to go into such great details regarding sex when it's clear from part one that these two are insatiable for one another. With word after word and chapter after chapter of sex I gave up and just skimmed through it all fishing for a storyline. I'm determined to find the purpose of this story. Wow! The author is really reaching when it comes to Brett's character. When Brett gets diagnosed with PTSD and his only way to control himself was through sex I just rolled my eyes.
I'm celebrating because it's finally over. That was the longest most arduous read to date.
It's too graphic. Its offensive. The dirty talk is raunchy.
There's confidence and then there's conceited. Brett reads conceited and determined to conquer Evvie.
It's a ten hour story and I really hope there is more to the story than all this raunchy rutting. It's overkill when one chapter after the next is Brett sexing Evvie. The stamina is laughable. It reads like a porno with sex and no storyline.
Im an avid reader and look for unique stories, but this offered no originality. I need some story to go along with this sex and I could not connect with either character. This did not appeal to me.
The stories becoming quite repetitive with the sense only being about sex. Did I mention I'm repulsed by the dirty talk?
Part two:
Evvie once again has trust issues. Brett's way of setting her straight is to f#ck the shit out of her. It's a repetition of the first. If I could count the number of times these two have had sex it would fill about eighty percent of the story. I'm so over reading about their sex life. The most toxic relationship I've ever read. They have trust issues, immaturity issues, and jealousy issues. This story did not fulfill any one of my fantasies. Evvie is once again obsessed that people are trying to break them up.
Part three:
Brett is writing in a journal and expressing his thoughts to Evvie. He still battles with his control issues. I'm so tired of hearing Brett say,"I need to be inside you". I don't understand why the author feels the need to go into such great details regarding sex when it's clear from part one that these two are insatiable for one another. With word after word and chapter after chapter of sex I gave up and just skimmed through it all fishing for a storyline. I'm determined to find the purpose of this story. Wow! The author is really reaching when it comes to Brett's character. When Brett gets diagnosed with PTSD and his only way to control himself was through sex I just rolled my eyes.
I'm celebrating because it's finally over. That was the longest most arduous read to date.

I am struggling with rating this book. I liked the story and both main characters. Brett is dreamy but also cray cray! I would love to give this at least 4 stars but there was just too much sex. I was sore from reading about all that sex! It seemed every other page they were having sex, talking about sex or day dreaming about sex. This book could of easily been a two book set if you removed half the sex scenes. I will say they were some pretty hot scenes. Considering sex happened often it wasn't all that repetitive. It was just too much! The ending was a little rushed. Their sex scenes take longer than the onset and resolution of a major event in the third book. This should of dragged out for half the book but I'm not sure if it went over a chapter. Would I recommend this book? Only if you like lots and lots of sex in your books. I personally would like to read it again but only if half the sex is removed. Brett was crazy, bossy, possessive, jealous and crazy again. But I really liked his kind of messed up. I will say "lover" never appealed to me as an endearment. Evie I liked her. She was sweet, loyal, open minded, smart and family meant everything to her

POSSESSED BY YOU was good. Eye rolling and overdramatic at times but you learn to go with it.
This is one of those books where the male comes in demanding the female give in to his needs while he’s possessive of everything she does. And then once he’s got the girl, he breaks up with her for whatever reason and when he finally overcomes whatever obstacle was in his way, he’s back and expects to pick up where they left off.
All in all Brett and Evvie were hot and sassy, but they weren’t without their faults.

There were still issues that I didn't care for such as the choking but overall the story stayed on course.
PERFECTED BY YOU 4 stars
I felt there wasn't much progress through much of this book that was told in Brett's point if view, but the ending nearly tore me.
Glad the couple got their happily ever after.

I wish Goodreads & Amazon were some how connected, HEY GUYS are you listening?, that would be so awesome if you would some how work together on that, I know I have read a book by J.M. Walker, but I can recall I am thinking is is one of the King's Harlots, MC Books? ...I know I have promoted her books numerous times on my book blog. I won this in a giveaway, gosh last year 2016 sometime and I am just getting around to reading it now. My book plate is always so so so full, TBR list is even fuller, wow wee, but I love, love, love to read. I do not have a favorite genre, I just love jumping into an author's cup of tea, & seeing where they take me... this is a wild ride!! To me this was a great read. Sensual, Raw, romantic, Brett & Evvie ... what a fun wild couple. There are mixed reviews on this one, I am with the 5 star bunch, it held my interest, I did laugh a bit, was a shocked a bit, I enjoy an emotional roller coaster read, that is me. Enjoy! ( ;

I brought the box set on Amazon and Bound by You was apart of it. I wrote a review for Bound by You so I'm just going to start my review with this box set and finish with Bound by you.
I love the story, but it felt like some stuff was never brought up. Like where they live? I don't remember reading that, so if anybody knows can you tell me.
These books were mainly focus on the main character but I would like to know a little about the other characters. Kane, her brothers, Brett's sister, and even her dad. I like knowing a little background from other characters.
Overall it was a great story and I love Brett and Evvie.
I also notice that J.M. Walker other book characters are in this series. (Tori and Sebastian & Keisha and Garrith for Shattered series)

this was a good read it did have that 50 shades/crossfire feel to it very erotic and steamy .evvie falls for brett a nightclub owner who has some anger and control issues stemi g from a troubled child hood .they both love hard as they both say he likes rough and to inflict some pain (spanking belt etc) but she likes reciving it .there other issues going on in book ex's mothers , family stuff an over all its a great trilogy my only pet peeve is the constant talk of ....mmm how to put it nicely love juices ...i got sick of read he saw her jucies on him she saw mixture of theres but other than that hot book lol
