This was a pretty wash-rinse-repeat kind of series, and I literally had to force myself to finish it. The characters were a step above interesting, the plot line was plodding, the grammar atrocious and there wasn't really anything that made the characters likeable.

I finished this book some time ago but could not be bother to say something about it. It took way too much time to read it, since it was sooo boring and predictable.
Tessa was such an immature character and Anders... Anders was just too closed off.
Tessa has a college degree in literature but has a hard time finding a job so she settles for a information kiosk at the mall Really Couldn't find a job at a book store And her friends who let her stay at their house Supposedly her best friend who in Tessa's opinion, would sneak out the apartment and let her deal with the rent on her own By than it is clear that Tessa is insecure and immature, and the stuff she pulls with Anders, leaving him in his closed apartment And is happy about it And let’s not forget about her ex Jeremy, who she does not want to get back together with, but she is spineless enough to be talked into almost sex with him.

There were no surprises in the story. Every action was predictable. O, and the surprise to be pregnant after unprotected sex O, my does that happen After one time Nooooo roles eyes

I could go on and on about this, but I won't because of the author's effort. That's why I'm giving this two starts instead of one.

99¢ was too much

I realize that this series was packaged for only 99¢ but I feel like I should have waited until it was free. This was not only riddled with grammatical errors the characters were incredibly inconsistent. By the end of book one Tessa is not the same person and by book two her "voice" has changed dramatically and it does not follow any evolution of character that I have ever seen. Sorry Sky but people do not change integral parts of their inner character after a few nights of mind blowing sex.

Then there are too many love interests introduced that go absolutely nowhere. I could not stand her whiney ex-boyfriend Jeremy, he was not a well defined character to begin with and when he does appear he just as easily disappears without putting up much of a fight. The whole spy-guy-on-the-sly thing going on with those coffee dates with Ryan who was obviously doing his utmost to get Tessa to himself. (And don't get me started on her creepy "friend" from the hotel Stephanie. If nothing else that old hag told the reader that Tessa is no judge of character and she is incredibly vapid.)

Even the progression of the story was not surprising. Of course unprotected sex leads to pregnancy! Duh! And no I do not consider that a spoiler because any child would know what the outcome of their relationship would be. Plus this was not just a story of lies and miscommunication, it was also a story of jealousy run riot. These were two incredibly vulnerable people who continually projected their own insecurities on each other until they unsurprisingly nitpicked their "relationship" (if you could call it that) to death and of course they had to break up at some point to get some perspective.

I am getting quite tired of the 50 Shades model of all these up and coming authors. Please throw some originality in there somewhere. Step it up, branch out, and truly become part of the greats out there. Explore your talents and tell a story that you are actually interested in and most of all write characters that you feel invested in, because it is only when you care about your characters that your readers will too.

There is potential in this story but push you talent, make something more than a poor copy of a copy.

I had to force myself to finish the book. The Club is the setting of the first book, but overall not important. It's where Tessa and Anderson meet... Anders doesn't start of as likable but with a body and face made for sin (but what's new? right)
Tessa is a real pain during the whole story and uses him for 'the best sex'. She also lies ands gets really upset when she finds out he lied to her.... (A lot of issues on both sides)
They don't have a normal relationship. Don't even have a friendship. He wants her body...can't live without it.

On the human interaction front and building some basis for a normal relationship this story is lacking. The sex-scenes were good tough.

Too bad that the club is only a setting and that I got a real 'desperate housewife meets manwhore' vibe from it. I don't get that with a gentleman clubs. So had a feeling of 'double standard'.

I read - Pleasure Extraordinaire box by Liv Bennett and can really recommend that!!! Sorry Sky!

Grammar and language is not my thing... English isn't my first language.

The one redeeming thing I can say about this book, it was in KU so I did not spend extra money. However the time I spent trying to wade through this idiocy I will never get back. I tried. I really did. I think I forced myself to continue though about 70%. But I couldn't like Anders at all. And this so called heroine! Really. This little girl playing at being a grown up. She may have the years, but the rest - not so much. I got so tired of her undecidedness. I mean really, either enjoy the sex and roll with it, or move on. She couldn't ever stand up to her friend let alone a man. She rather ticked me off. I am moving on to better stories.

Another winner in the "Romance" package. Tessa and Anders have a great romance. Loved that I could listen to all the books at once without having to wait for the next book to come out, or buying one book at a time. The Complete Series was awesome. It was impossible to put down once I began. The author is awesome and the narrator is fabulous. The narrator does an excellent job with the characters and their personalities.

This is one of those series I read as each installment came out and then re-read when one more came out so then when it finally came out as one book I had to read it again. One of those kind of books you just have to read and re-read. What can I say it gets to you.

Anders Anders Anders what can I say about Anders he is hot but man I wanted to smack him upside his head at times.
Tessa sounds so much like me (yes I did say that) in my relationship with my hubby when he started out so i can so relate to her,
This book is some scenes that are so hot they had me looking for the hubby and sometimes i wanted to thrown my kindle at the wall.

Sky love her books and this one I did as well. Yes there are a few grammar issues but heck I am dyslexic so I personally just pass on over them and read on.

Tessa Murphy has been given a gift by her bf, Evelyn, who has recently won the lottery. The gift is a $10,000-month stay at the Billionaires club. Her first night there she meets her billionaire, Anders. They barely get started in his suite, when gets a phone call and leaves. She waits for his return, but instead another man comes and informs her that Anders will not be returning tonight,This is the start of this up and down romance. It's a great read I couldn't put it down until I finished every book.

I give this series 4 stars overall, as I thought it was a great idea for a story & was well written. I especially loved the first novella. This series did start off better than it ended though, with the last part of this story being more of a 3 star rating.

Good read

I enjoyed this story. I was sucked in by all the angst and emotion, and I am a sucker for happy ending.

But all the spelling errors did bother me. Other than that, it was a good read.

Trusting people is both their issues, but after all the mistakes made its all about giving it a chance.

There's just nothing worse than spelling mistakes, bad editing, a female lead that wouldn't know her finger from her elbow and the same old story regurgitated AGAIN.
A kindle unlimited mistake.
