Baby 😭😭🔥🔥🥰
The last book with CJ and Nova pissed me off so bad that I wanted to forget this series. I knew from the pic I was going to love Ronan and that I loved them. The chemistry from the beginning captivated me. I love that the author gave us an Mfc who is sure of herself. She didn't try to deny her feelings or fight with Ronan on what was happening. She accepted it with ease because we are to grown to be running around acting like we don't all want a sexy mafia man to own us 😭😭. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because there is not enough heat. Book 1 and 4 are my favorite. Cj and Nova have absolutely no chemistry. Just forget it. Please, please do right by Luka. I'm begging to give us extra heat with Luka because that photo is to fire for any lack of heat. I loved it so much I will be rereading it again. Yes, I read the entire thing the same day I waited patiently and spent the day reading because im obsessed 😄

What I love most about this authors writing is that she doesn’t make you choose between the romance and the story. Because the stories are so good I don't' mind the grammatical errors, hey what can you expect from someone writing, editing, on their own. I don't expect perfection or ideal formatting. It's the story for me honey, and I loved every minute of this one. The action in this one is brutal and the romance is just as intense. Jasira is such a refreshing heroine... she’s not afraid to push back and she doesn’t get lost in Ronan’s shadow. And Ronan… the man is terrifying to everyone but her. The way he claims her without hesitation, without apology, made my heart race. This is easily one of my favorites in the series.

From the first gunshot at Mercy General to the last page, I felt like I was in a high-speed chase. Every scene had purpose. The tension was off the charts, not just from the danger, but from the slow burn heat between Ronan and Jasira. I loved how their connection built through action, not fluff. And the cameos from the rest of the O’Connell crew reminded me why I love this world so much. I finished it in one night because there was no way I was sleeping until I knew they made it out.
