I really enjoyed this set of three stories. In 'Dragon' you read about a kind of modified Alexa bringing in a special wish for two burglars. Be careful what you want from your voice service! 'Webs' is about a couple inside a pyramid facing a giant spider. 'Fear of the Scarecrow' is about a cuckold who seeks revenge on his unfaithful wife. Will the scarecrow set things right? Interesting new horror (Dragon) with a good shot of brutality at some parts. My favourites were Dragon and Scarecrow. Recommended!

I read this as part of an anthology, Nightlight Tales 2 by Anthony Renfro and as an anthology, I rated the book 4 stars because it was chock full of great horror, bloody ,gruesome, human and non human stories to scare the living daylights out of ya, and seeing The Dragon is now available on its own, I want you to know…Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it in this gruesome, bloody story that might make you think twice about summoning Alexa and Siri to do your bidding.

I was pleasantly surprised to find in the author's note that Anthony Renfro grew up locally to me. Great stories, I'll be checking out more! The Dragon was the best in this book, but all were well done and entertaining.
