May God have mercy on Carrie’s enemies, because I have none.

Carrie -- When I stumble out of the fog into a motorcycle club compound, the guys seem more freaked out over my name (something about an old movie?) than the fact that I’m covered in blood and asking for a jug of sulfuric acid. Not my best moment. Then Hawk steps in. His smile and the careful way he takes care of me steal my heart. I’m asking for heartache, but my whole life has been nothing but pain and disappointment. Just this once, I want to take control, take what I want. And I want Hawk. No matter what happens when my family finds me.

Hawk -- I knew Carrie was trouble the second I laid eyes on her. Of course, she was covered in blood, so, easy call. What I didn’t count on is how completely and quickly I fell under her spell. I might not be ready to admit it, but my brothers know and plan accordingly. Carrie is mine. Even though she’s proven she can take care of herself, whatever trouble she has coming for her will have to go through me.

Graphic violence and adult content which may be triggers for some readers. As always, there is a happily ever after with no cheating.

Erotic romance author by night, emergency room tech/clerk by day, Marteeka Karland works really hard to drive everyone in her life completely and totally nuts. She has been creating stories from her warped imagination since she was in the third grade. Her love of writing blossomed throughout her teenage years until it developed into the totally unorthodox and irreverent style her English teachers tried hard to rid her of.

Hawk is the third book in the Kiss of Death MC series, and as always, Marteeka delivers a compelling, easy-to-read story. She’s absolutely hit this one out of the park.

From the start, Hawk is protective, sweet, and a little gruff—but definitely a keeper. His confidence and the way he grows within the relationship is just so well done.
Carrie, with her sweetness, resilience, and kick-ass assertiveness, is someone you genuinely want to root for. She’s had a rough time growing up with her family, but she decides to take charge and change her life, and that journey is both inspiring and empowering for the both of them.

Carrie and Hawk’s romance is one for the books. Their chemistry is spot-on from the beginning, and the plot is executed wonderfully. With the perfect blend of action, drama, character development, and laugh-out-loud moments, this is a rollicking good read. I was genuinely sad to finish it—only because I enjoyed it so much.

Carrie comes out of the fog covered in the blood of her enemies...how could she nit find her match with the next SAA. Hawk never expected a slip of a woman to slip into his heart but how could he resist the badass named Carrie?
Hawk is the latest in Marteeka Karland's Kiss of Death MC series. I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the series. There were many a Carrie reference in this story and even though I have never seen the movie I found myself laughing out loud. Carrie may have skills but I loved that she trusted Hawk enough to show him her vulnerabilities. And I equally loved Hawk's willingness to shelter her in the storm her life has become.
This is a quick instalove story that I thoroughly enjoyed and I am looking forward to where Ms. Karland will take us next.

This is book 3 in the Kiss of Death series and I loved this installment! The way we were introduced to Carrie had me giggling. Loved seeing all the club guys reactions to her approach.
I really enjoyed Hawk and Carrie's story. I love how strong, yet vulnerable Carrie was. Carrie put all her trust in Hawk, trusting him to protect her though she is able to take care of herself thanks to her brothers and no good dad.
These two knew right from the beginning that they were meant for each other, I loved watching their romance blossom.
Great story and really looking forward to reading more in this series!

I did not think Kiss of Death MC could get any better, but then I get Hawks story. I am really enjoying how strong the female characters are, but they are also strong enough to lean on the men in their life and not see it as a weakness. Carrie walks out of the fog covered in blood, the twist and turns in the story keeps you on the edge of trying to figure out who the bad guys really are. I am so enjoying the morally gray MC world. There are so many characters introduced in this story that I cannot wait to see their stories.

Loved this one. When Carrie appeared out of the darkness covered, as Hawk said, in the blood of her enemies, I was hooked. The love was insta, the pacing was fast, and the characters excellent. I love a badsass heroine, especially one who is also sweet. So, apparently, does Hawk.

This is the 3rd book in this series, and they get better and better. Hawk falls for Carrie when he first lays eyes on her, covered in blood or not! I loved this book. It has action, a fierce protector and the weight of the club and it's members behind them.

This read had so much love, affection, chaos, brotherhood, laughter and hotness. The plot was spot on and I can't wait to read more!

Hawk and Carrie together are great. He’s protective of her but there is no doubt she can take care of herself with no problem. You got betting going on and comments about her name that gives you some laughs. Hawk claims Carrie and she looks forward to getting a “patch thingy”. I am loving this series so far and right now Hawk is my favorite. Anxiously waiting for more.

Hawk is book 3 in the Kiss Of Death MC series. This one is Hawk and Carrie's story and HOLY COW!!!!! My immediate thought in one part of the book is that Carrie is KOD's version of my girl Lemon from Grim Road. This girl is fierce! She is Hawks person in every single way. There's just not enough words! I LOVE THIS FREAKIN STORY!!!!!! Best book of the series so far!

I LOVED this book! Carrie lived up to her name and is going to give these men a run for their money! Hawk is the best man for this job because he’s going to treat her like the queen she and heaven help anyone who gets in his way. I am really excited to see where KISS of Death goes from here.

Hawk and Carrie

Be prepared to laugh, swoon and sit on the edge of your seat wondering what will com next. This is an exceptional story. From the moment we meet Hawk and Carrie I was riveted to their journey. There are some twists and turns but overall we see two people who were clearly meant to meet and be together navigate all these emotions to a happily ever after. I loved everything about this amazing story.

3rd book, and my favourite so far, in the Kiss of Death series by Marteeka Karland. I loved this instalove, quick read (took me around 4-5 hours), that had me chuckling in places. I can't wait to read the rest of the series - to see where the author takes the club and see if I'm right and we get a series with Carrie's brothers!!! I hope so.
