I'm really, really incredibly frustrated about this book. I went into it knowing that the characters would have drama and problem in their relationship but I guess I should have read more reviews because I though that this was a romance and assumed that it would have a HEA. Well, technically it had an HEA but its not one that I found satisfying. If I had known from the beginning how the book would have ended I would have never read the book. I read to escape and for an HEA unless their is a really good reason not to give the characters an HEA (personally I think every book needs an HEA).

The author had a well developed story with likeable and believable characters (for most of the story) which is always very important to me. I'm terrible with grammar but nothing stood out to me in the story to complain about.

My problem was that it was very preachy. The author has very strong ideas about the government, private industry, and America in general and most of those ideas were to radical for me. I'm going to try not to put in any spoilers but the story didn't end up the way that I expected. I spent the entire story getting to know the main characters but at the end I feel like I never really knew several of them and I find that frustrating as a reader. When I read I want to fall in love with the characters, even the ones that drive me crazy. At the end of this book I found myself disliking several main characters and I hate that. So 4 stars because technically well written and the author did a good job telling the story that he wanted to tell but if I was rating it on how much I enjoyed it and if I'll read it again then I probably would have given it 1 star because there are very few books I won't read again and this was one of them.

I enjoyed this novel until Evan basically got screwed. His got cheated on and killed. Their wasn't enough page time for me to forgive or justify the cheating. So out of the 3 MCs, I hate 2 and 1 is dead. Also for the other 2 even though they are cheaters they get their every desire, and no guilt.

It felt like the other MC's just used Evan and then discarded him. Fail!
