Forbidden Touch

Rate this book
She came home to escape her past.
But what she found was a temptation she could never forget.

After flunking her first semester of college, Elena returns to her small hometown with nothing but shame, secrets, and a carefully rehearsed smile. The last thing she expects is Dan—her father’s best friend, the man who's known her since childhood, and the one person she never thought would look at her like that.

He’s older, forbidden, and off-limits.

But when stolen glances become lingering touches, and tension turns to fire, Elena finds herself drowning in something far deeper than lust. As their secret connection intensifies, so does the risk—and the ache of wanting what she can’t have.

In a house full of expectations, a town full of gossip, and a summer full of heat, Elena has to follow the rules—or follow her heart.

Tempting the Forbidden is a steamy age-gap romance dripping with emotional tension, lake-summer nostalgia, and undeniable slow-burn heat. Perfect for fans of forbidden desire, protective older men, and young heroines learning how far they’ll go for love.

the story surprised me. It’s definitely not perfect , the plot is a bit predictable, and there’s a lot of focus on the physical stuff maybe too much at times, but I still found myself totally wrapped up in Elena and Dan’s story.
The whole dad’s best friend storyline is sexy, and even though some parts felt a little unrealisticthe tension was strong and the chemistry felt real.
Not the most groundbreaking romance I’ve read, but it kept me turning the pages. If you’re okay with some taboo and a lot of heat, it’s a fun read.
