Happy, uplifting, simple book about love...
For little kids, love is an abstract concept, they can't touch it, or lay their hands Lon it, but they can feel it, and this cute, simple book walks them through understanding, embracing, and appreciating the feeling/emotion... As well as helping them understand it is "universal" in that their friends also love their friends and family.
I like the way it explains loving birthdays, because they make you extra happy... It puts birthdays in a positive light that seems like it would discourage jealousy, and encourage kids to support one another in living their birthday.

At the beginning Elmo sings you a song. He loves when you come and visit. Elmo wants to learn about Love. Elmo and Dorothy, the goldfish, Love their families. Elmo Loves his friends. What does his friends love? You get to listen/read to find out. Don't you Love it!!I
The illustrations are whimsical and the storyline is true Elmo. I highly recommend this Happy book.

You can love your family, friends, pets, and even your favorite toys and activities. Now you know that when you share love with others, you make their hearts happy too. You can show love every day by hugging us, playing kindly with friends, and caring for things you treasure. Great job, sweetheart!
