well we finally got to see what was going on with Azure. Sett was in it very little. I think that ending means big things for the story going forward. Nina is still not my fav main character. She kind of rubs me the wrong way for some reason. I think it is cause she kind of reminds me of leroy jenkins but with her life. She is around all these people who are trying to be strategic and stay safe and she is just like lets do this!!!!

The story has begun to pick up some real speed, but not in a way that it's skipping anything but in a way that's exciting! Finally they have revealed the plans of Az and the full developments of Sett's affection for Nina. With the successful meeting between a true star person and Nina we finally get backstory revelations to the origins of it all. There's still a lot unknown, a new level being revealed through Sol's mysterious mission, but for the most part the story is really piecing together. The bigger picture and the final reveal is so close, and you can tell the author took their time to fully develop it. This is what you get when an author has the backing in time to take the story to its full journey.
I am curious how many volumes are left though. I feel like they could do the conclusion in one volume but I also feel like two would give it a more satisfactory wrap up. I think more than two might be an odd number though, I think that would require adding a new story arc. At this point I think of volume to wrap up the conflict and journey and then have one volume to wrap up the relationships and happy ending would be a satisfactory way to do it. Alternatively just one longer than average volume would pull it off as well. I am deeply looking forward to it!

Kinda annoyed that this hasn’t been a romance in like 8 volumes. It’s been in fantasy territory exclusively and while I love the character development, I want that tension back!!
Also what the heck Alisha! And Azure!?
Sett can still do no wrong.
Recap: twin princes are set on capturing Nina. Nina escapes begrudgingly and meets a star guide who helps Nina regain her memories. Nina is then going back to the caves. We find out Alisha is possessed by a Beast god and that Azure plans on taking the beast god so that it won’t possess Nina. Ends with sett setting out to battle and Azure stabbing Alisha.
