Damaged: Working Girl Series Book 5

Rate this book
Her past made her a victim, her future will make her a legend.
Be the predator, not the prey.
I was never supposed to exist. A ghost in my own life, unseen, unloved, unprotected. Just a body to be used. A girl no one saved. I learned at a young age that monsters don’t live under the bed. They wear familiar faces. They smile as they destroy you. I kept my mouth shut. I hid the bruises. I played my part. The good daughter. The good girlfriend. The good wife. I was the kind of girl who keeps your secrets while she drowns in her own. But survival? It changes you. It chips away at your humanity, at your innocence. It carves you into something dangerous. There’s only so much damage a girl can take before being good stops making sense. Then you just want to burn it all down. They thought they could keep me quiet. That I’d keep taking the punches, the violations. The humiliation’s. But I’m not that girl anymore.
I buried her in the Atlantic. Now, there’s only me, the version they created through every act of cruelty, every betrayal. There’s a darkness inside me, born the day I realized no one was coming to save me. It kept me alive. And now... it’s hungry. I’m done surviving. I’m ready to make them bleed. And when I do, my vengeance won’t just be remembered.
It’ll be legendary. My names Roxy. This is my story, raw, ugly & unfiltered.
Monsters beware, I see you. I am coming for you.

Author Bio Roxy Rich

Roxy Rich writes psychological thrillers that will mess with your head, in the best possible way. Loosely based on true events (because real life is often more twisted than fiction), her stories take a deep dive into social injustices, especially those faced by women. Expect grit, heart, and the kind of realism that makes you wonder just how close to the truth she’s really getting.

While most of her work explores the raw and often brutal realities of human behaviour, Roxy occasionally veers off into darkly sarcastic tales about serial killers. You know, for balance.

She lives in the wilds of Somerset where she home educates her kids, writes brutally honest fiction, and dreams of salt water and gills, because she’s pretty sure she was a mermaid in a past life. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her swimming, chasing sea breezes, or side-eyeing society's hypocrisy like it just spilled red wine on her white carpet.

If you like your thrillers bold, smart, and laced with a wicked edge of truth, Roxy Rich is your next favourite author.
Dive in, just don’t expect to come up for air anytime soon.

This is book 5in the working girl series. And has been the hardest one to read. U can feel the pain, hurt and damage people in Roxanne life has caused her. The sheer amount of damage caused is what nightmares are made of. Then when she thinks she's found love he turned into a rat and Roxanne looses her twins. Even though she never knew she was pregnant it still hurt her deeply. Then Michael a real smooth talker a real piece of work, fighting off in rage calling Roxanne awful names. But in the end Roxanne gets her revenge. This novel is not for people with alot of triggers. Roxy rich has taken us on a Journey of the working girls life and world. You need to be strong and smart to be a savior in that world.
