Rate this book
This is an original coloring book full of magic and wonder by Eriy. Lauramia is a country where wizards, fairies, elves, and magical creatures live. Mary, a witch and art student who has been living in the capital city of Ramsmignon for a year, introduces her charming life through coloring books. The main character, Mary, lives in a room on the second floor of Luna Books, a bookstore run by her landlady Luna. It also has a lovely atelier. Luna Books, located on the first floor down the stairs, is a bookstore with a wide range of genres, from rare magic books to easy cooking recipes. There is a magical chair that will choose the perfect book for you when you sit down. Luna, the landlady, is a skilled cook known for her apple pie. Mary sometimes gets cooking lessons from her. In addition, there are plenty of other coloring books full of mysterious charm, such as Mary's favorite art store, a jam shop and a flower shop run by fairies, an elf theater and a small flyer, and a party at a ghost mansion. The text is in Japanese.

I am slightly disappointed with this latest publication of Eriy's.

1) Size vs layout--the former affects the latter in such a way that the overall images/illustrations look distorted(?) or awkward; also, it appears that some of the drawings were chopped off, or printed too close to the edges.

2) Paper--compared to the previous publications (both English and Japanese), the current one seems not as thick (weighty) and smooth; of course, I shall update when I have coloured on it.

3) Content vs price--"not in proportion" is my opinion.

Eriy's art is, as usual, adorable, charming and whimsical.
