The fourth story in the Silver Spur Security Series. Harper is a trained thief that has turned the tables to return items to their rightful owners. When she enters The Iron Spur to find a stolen piece of history, Reed Malone knows who she is and is very intrigued by her. It was enjoyable watching their relationship grow as they worked together. Posing as a Dom/sub couple brings out the tension and sizzle of their chemistry. It is enough for a quick enjoyable read. Harper and Reed’s story is part of the Silver Spur Security series, I love that it takes place in a Texas BDSM club. The storyline follows Harper from Texas to Mexico Cuty, with Reed following behind to save her. I adore this “touch her and die” trope. The characters are entertaining and spot on in their snark and humor, with sides of sensual heat. The only reason I can’t give this 5✨’s is Stuart, the man who hurt Harper and set her up to take the fall for the stolen antiquities ( which were also never recovered ), was not captured or deceased . That goes against everything Reed’s character is built up as being., so for me that was a let down. But it’s still a very good read. 4✨’s and I can’t wait to read book 5, maybe there will be a tie into this storyline. SHE’S A WILDCARD

This is the fourth story in the Silver Spur Security Series. It will revolve around Harper Langston and Reed Malone, a former SEAL (not ex-SEAL, as misstated) and co-founder of Silver Spur Security and one of the founding owners of the Iron Spur. The story is fast-paced, action-packed, with suspense and danger.

Harper Langston was trained to locate and relocate antiquities by Stuart. After Istanbul, things changed—she is now retrieving items and quietly returning them to their rightful place. She will go to the Iron Spur to find a stolen piece of history, and her entrance as a guest comes as a returned favor. But her identity isn’t a secret, and Reed Malone is on to her.

“She wasn’t here to get tied up—she was here to tie off loose ends. Clean it up. Erase the trail. Retrieve the artifact and vanish again before her past caught up with her. Because the truth was, she wasn’t just walking a fine line—she was dancing barefoot on barbed wire. And while the game still thrilled her, there were moments—quiet, creeping ones—when she wondered how many more escapes she had left, or what it might be like to just disappear.”

“You’re playing a game you don’t understand, little thief.”

The story involves Reed Malone and Harper Langston, her past, the present, and where it will go. Reed knows who she is, what she does, but is highly intrigued by her, her confidence, sassy mouth, and he isn’t ready to let go of her. He knows she isn’t doing things alone, so who has her scared, pulled the strings, and has her reach out to him for help?

Harper: What are you really asking me, Reed?
Reed: If you’re being hunted. Or used. Or both.

Harper: So what’s the play, boss man?
Reed: The play is we bait the trap. We find out who’s behind this and burn them to ash.
Harper: You mean I play the lure. Again.
Reed: Not alone.
Harper: What, we go in as a couple?
Reed: We go in as Master and submissive. Public. Documented. Exclusive.
Harper: You sure you’re not just looking for an excuse to collar me in public?
Reed: Sweetheart, I don’t need an excuse. I need your consent. And your trust. Everything else I already own.
Harper: Then get ready, boss man. Because if we’re doing this, we’re going in deep. No masks. No holding back.
Reed: Exactly how I like it. This part of the mission? I’ve been ready for that since the moment you weaseled your way into my club.
Harper: Please, I walked in with style. No weaseling involved. Ferreted, maybe. At worst.

It was fun watching Harper and Reed together, they had a chemistry that oozed off the pages. Harper is her own person, and submitting to Reed was a choice she willingly consented to. That doesn’t mean she isn’t still sassy, clever, and slippery—because she gives Reed a chase he is willing to pursue. But what happens when the mission is done—where will that leave her—them?

“Destruction had always felt more honest than surrender. At least when things broke, it was on her terms. It was a lesson Stuart had taught her early; if you can’t escape the fire, make d*** sure you’re the one who lit it.”

Harper: I can’t tell if you’re the next disaster I survive, or the one that finally breaks me in a way I don’t want fixed.
Reed: Then stop waiting for someone else to decide. You want a future, little thief? Stop running. Stand your ground.

The story has the good, the bad, and the ugly of people. Harper became a pawn in a game she was trained for, but two years ago, she turned the tables. Cornered by Reed, she finds what she didn’t know she was looking for—and it isn’t antiquities—it is something money can’t buy.

“Maybe freedom wasn’t about escape. Maybe it was about choosing to stay.”

3.75stars-THE LASSO MASTER is the fourth instalment in Delta James’ contemporary, adult COWBOYS OF SILVER SPUR SECURITY erotic, Dom/sub, romance series. This is former US Navy SEAL / billionaire/ co-owner of the Iron Spur / Silver Spur Security Dom Reed Malone, and professional thief Harper ‘Specter’Langston. THE LASSO MASTER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise including Dom/sub situations, there me triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from three omniscient third person perspectives including Harper and Reed THE LASSO MASTER follows in the wake of the arrival of Harper Langston at the Iron Spur. Reed Malone suspects Harper’s visit to the Iron Spur is more of a scouting mission than a need to scene, Harper is on the hunt for a missing artifact, and the Iron Spur is one of the main stops on her list of possible sightings but Harper never expected to come face to face with Dom Reed Malone, the man who would take control of her life and her heart. Desperate to help, Reed will set into motion a plan to recover the artifact as well as pulling Harper out of the life she has led for so very long.

The world building focuses on Harper’s need to locate the missing artifact, as she ventures from Texas to the auction in Mexico City, where she will encounter a ghost from the past, and discover more than ancient artifacts up for auction.

The relationship between Harper and Reed begins acrimoniously but Reed is a Dom, and his need to control will be focused on the woman with whom he will fall in love. Reed remains professional in his manner, and cool in the face of potential betrayal but a need to protect and uncover the truth, Reed digs deep into the life that is our story line heroine. The $ex scenes are intimate and provocative

Once again, the determined and dynamic secondary and supporting characters include co-owners of the Silver Spur Security and the Iron Spur Exclusive Sex Club- Gavin Briggs, Hawke Turner, and Dawson Hart, as well as Jesse Bryant, and Harper’s former handler Stuart.

THE LASSO MASTER is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, acceptance and love. The fast paced premise is intriguing and suspenseful; the romance is limited but impassioned; the characters are desperate and charismatic.

This sharp, raw, edgy romance was intriguing, mysterious, and dangerous. It was challenging and stimulating to fit all the puzzle pieces together to form a picture, as initially, it was not apparent where and how the different characters fit in with the cloak-and-dagger storyline.

I found Harper to be an enigma at times. She was sassy, independent, intelligent, feisty, and always quick with a retort, but there was a submissive side only Reed could bring out. She craved his control. I loved how she pushed his buttons. The punishment came her way when she was impulsive and reckless, putting herself in danger. There was a stillness about Harper that I admired.

Reed Malone, an ex-navy seal and billionaire co-owner of Silver Spur Security and Iron Spur Club, breathes and lives dominance. He is commanding and dangerous and manages to shatter Harper’s layers, which she hides behind. Reed recognizes that Harper is his and only his. Reed is in damage control when Harper finds herself once more in danger. Losing her was not an option.

Reed and Harper’s story was complex. There was honor even in the criminal world, and Harper was trying to right the wrongs of her past by returning stolen artifacts to their owners. She was a thief with a conscience. Harper was no damsel in distress, but she was dancing on the edge of danger from her past, and her world could collapse at any moment. Haper’s past was not one she was proud of, but now fingers were wrongly pointed at her for stealing priceless artifacts, and she turned to Reed Malone and Silver Spur Security for help. Reed and his team kept Harper safe until an impulsive decision sent them into damage control.

My only complaint is i thought that the ending seemed uncertain, and I wondered what happened to the curator. This was an exciting, fast-paced tale where the chemistry between the main characters was undeniable and could ignite fireworks. This was Ms. James at her best as she kept me on the edge, waiting for the inevitable tumble. The story is well-written and entertaining.

From the moment Reed spots Harper across the expanse of the Iron Spur, he knows she’s not just there to play. There's a sharpness in her gaze, a confidence in her stride—she’s casing the joint, and Reed, ever vigilant, can spot a thief from a mile away. Though he escorts her off the property, it’s already too late—Harper has left an indelible mark on him that he can’t shake. It’s not just curiosity that has him digging into the enigma that is Harper. He senses she is dangerous, but perhaps he also hears her siren’s call. When Harper reaches out for help, Reed doesn’t hesitate. He’s determined to bring this beautiful woman to heel—but bending Harper to his will proves to be as exhilarating as it is complicated. Harper is a consummate thief, shaped by a past that includes a deadly betrayal from the very man who once saved her. She was just a pawn in a high-stakes game she never agreed to play, and now the consequences are closing in. Harper has always lived in the shadows, slipping into roles and disguises, never letting anyone get close. But Reed’s steady strength and burning chemistry threaten to unravel her defenses. Trust doesn’t come easy—but desire might just be her undoing. As she begins to let him in, danger looms too close, and Harper does what she’s always done—vanishes to protect the one person she’s grown to care for. But Reed isn’t a man who lets go. And when he finds his woman gone? Let’s just say, hell hath no fury like a protector scorned. My only quibble was that a few plot threads were left tantalizingly unresolved—an unusual move for Delta, whose books are typically tightly wrapped. But perhaps that’s a hint that we haven’t seen the last of Reed and Harper. And frankly, I’m not ready to say goodbye.

Highly steamy, intriguing, thrilling and fast-paced romance
In this book Ms. James has shown her writing chops; I have never read one of her books with more lyrical, suggestive prose that invoked powerful sensuality between our main characters: Harper, “Little Thief” and Reed Malone, “Boss Man.”
Harper has come to Reed’s lifestyle club, the Iron Spur to case it for a missing artifact, which was last seen on these premises. She does not find it but Reed sees her and sparks fly. He is an alpha Dom and she is reluctantly a submissive. When she struts into the club, Reed has his latest challenge and he plans on winning. Through Harper’s stubborn machinations, Reed finally gets the whole picture. We will too bit-by-bit and enjoy the anticipation every step of the way. If this book does not having you panting or at least clinching your thighs together, check your pulse! The sensuality her words invoke in this novel are powerful. The clever tongue-in-cheek words hit their mark too:
“The woman was a lie in lace”
“Staring at data like it owes you child support”
“A warning look--flat and full of promise”
“Curiosity wasn’t just a cat killer—it was a professional hazard. And Harper was the d**n poster girl.”
I nearly highlighted the entire book! If you like intrigue, thrilling moments with lots of steam in your romance, you will love this book. I volunteered to review an ARC of it through BookSirens.
Love the cover.

Captivating read with remarkable character, scenario that is riveting reading
Reed Malone has met his match with Harper Langston who os visiting Iron Spur in search for antiquities she believed would be of use but he has known what she was doing and was going to get herself in trouble so had guided her away before anyone else caught on.
Reed was surprised because even though he had only been with her a short time she has made him recall her more than once which was unusual. Then several days later she had been able to repay the favour by helping him when he had contacted her for advice, Harper had gone to his estate where they had discovered possible evidence pointing to the individual responsible for her problems.
Harper had been broken hearted, to discover that someone she had known for years and trusted implicitly as her trainer had now started to blackmail her was heartbreaking, she decided that she had to protect reed and had continued on her search for antiquities that may help.
I do not want to spoil the read for others by giving away too much but know that other readers will be as captivated as I was and will be earnestly waiting for the next book in the series.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

THE LASSO MASTER ROPES THE LITTLE THIEF

Reed and Harper. She was at The Iron Spur club, hunting for a pricless necklace artifact that was stolen. She was wound a little tight. While roaming the club she locked eyes with him. Him the preditor in complete control and she the prey. Then she saw it. Not the original but close. A lead. A confrintation. And then he was there behind her. She didnt hear him she felt him. Not suppose to be at the club. He saw too much. OMG his warning. You can hear it. You can see his intent. So hot. So breathtaking. Now he just needs to figure out what she wants. After researching her he concludes shes a wildcard and on a mission. One he was going to keep an eye on. A very close eye. A personal eye.

Theres a sentence in the book that just about says it all about him and her….."This man didnt flirt, he promised and Harpers body was listening" ….. This is one heck of a wild ride for the artifact and the charecters. This book has charecters from previous books and needless to say the guy's girls are brats. Come follow them on a trail that ropes them into trouble, mistuff, action, suspense, mystery and hot passion.

it’s in it’s out it’s over- Delta James lets us down with the outline of a good book but no actual story, just story points!

WTH Delta James?! Great premise of a story, great events to keep the story up but then you cut out all the middle, linking details and just stomp on the gas pedal and go- boom! It’s over! You didn’t even build their relationship. You wrote a paragraph when you were making A happen then a few sentences and B happened then a few more sentences and C happened and then the book was over.
I was so looking forward to reading this book and I finished it in less than an hour! Not because it was good- although it has all the potential to be great- but because you left all good stuff out!!! You didn’t even give us more than one rope scene in a book specifically titled to be about erotic rope bondage!! And the scene didn’t have any specific details about how the rope work was done! It’s like you sent your outline to the publisher and they published it without having you add character and nuance and relationship building to it. PLEASE tell me there is an explanation for this!
Obviously I won’t be reading the other books in this series.
Readers deserve SO MUCH BETTER than this!!!!

There is only one word to describe this book and it is explosive we have Harper our protagonist a woman who has built walls around her heart to protect her because of her past marked by the betrayal she felt when the person she believed was her friend only used her for his own purposes that made her cautious and a woman too strong and also one with a reputation for being careful but at one point she meets Reed our attractive protagonist who with just one look at Harper begins to feel strong emotions that he thought would never come into his life and so he sets out to enter Harper's heart destroy all the walls she has and show her that she can be loved and love in return and well with a lot of understanding Reed manages to heal Harper's wounds one by one but the moment comes when Harper has to make the decision that it is time to face the past and end it all once and for all however things get out of control and that is where Reed has to burn down the world to bring back the woman who has become the reason for his existence, which he did, the way it all ended was beautiful, the book was a roller coaster of emotions that I would definitely relive again and again. ❤️❤️❤️

This is Reed and Harpers’ story.

Harper is no damsel in distress. She’s calculated, cunning, thinks fast on her feet and is a stunning beauty. Which by itself can get her into trouble.

Reed is a definite alpha. With a look he can hold a room quiet. He is retired military, with a physique that holds your breath until he tells you to breathe. Also very calculated, smart, and always knows best, and the patience of a saint.

It all starts when Harper gains entry to the Iron Spur from a favor Jesse owed her. She’s at the club on a mission. You see she seeks and acquires historical artifacts by any means, but the reason might surprise you. Reed spots her immediately, observing her every move until he realizes she not just walking around to discover what if offers. No, she’s casing his club. She’s making mental notes and calculating flour plans and distances. Their mutual attraction is magnetic and explosive.

This story has excitement, suspense, drama, and a fight to find yourself and discover peace and true joy. Highly suggest this fast read.

Happy Reading📖🌻

“Maybe freedom wasn’t about escape. Maybe it was about choosing to stay.”

'The Lasso Master' is the gripping fourth installment in the "Silver Spur Security" series, showcasing the powerful dynamics between Harper Langston and Reed Malone, a seasoned former SEAL and co-founder of Silver Spur Security. This story is an adrenaline-fueled ride packed with suspense.

Harper, once tasked with locating antiquities, has now dedicated herself to retrieving stolen items and returning them to their rightful owners. Her mission leads her to the Iron Spur, where she’s determined to reclaim a valuable artifact, but Reed sees right through her facade. Intrigued by her confidence and sharp wit, he refuses to let her slip away.

While Harper ties up loose ends, she’s confronted by her complex past and the threats that shadow her every move. The chemistry between Harper and Reed is undeniable; their interactions are charged with tension. Harper willingly submits to Reed, but she remains clever and elusive, making sure he works hard to keep up. As they navigate this dangerous landscape, one question looms: once the mission is complete, what will their future hold?

Another great read by Delta James. The chemistry between Reed and Harper was felt with every interaction between the two of them. Hot steamy BDSM scenes that set you alight with a backstory of mystery and mayhem.
Whilst Harper is running from her past, not realizing that the man she thought was dead was set to destroy her, meeting Reed was maybe the best thing to of happened to her. She just had to learn to submit to the Dom, which she was finding difficult to do.
Once he had her where he wanted her, Reed was determined to Keep Harper, safe and within his arms, but she had other ideas!
A great roller coaster of a ride as Harper tries to end her nemesis on her own, but finds she is in way over her head, with the only hope that Reed gets to her before it is too late!
Loved it, but it ended way too soon for me, and just wished there was more!
I felt there was more story to come, but I did love the soft ending!

I liked that Harper and Reed were such strong personalities. I enjoyed all of their interactions. I did feel like the book focused more on their relationship than the events that brought them in proximity to each other in the first place.

I knew what Harper's intentions were in going to the Iron Spur. I knew Reed was intent on helping her. That part of the story never came together for me. I understood Harper's connection to Stuart. I felt like I was getting pieces of a mystery with no cohesiveness. It also felt to me that the story was not complete. I kept waiting for more information or more of an explanation. There was no cliffhanger. Reed and Harper did get together. I didn't get that satisfaction of a story ending.

The book was engaging. The characters were likable. The mystery or reason for Harper being in her situation was not what I expected. Rating: 3.5 stars

This is Harper and Reed's book. I couldn't decide between a four or a five. The reason it didn't get a five is the insta love. They knew of each other but didn't know each other. In the prior books they knew each other and the story flowed.

The good was even though they didn't know each other, the story seemed to be ok. The reader got the feeling they had some interaction from afar. Reed wasn't the over-the-top dominant, but he was protective and still an alpha. He knew how to interact with Harper without acting like a neanderthal. Harper was strong, protective, and dominant in her own right. While the action was paced well and the couple were co leads, the romance moved at a slower pace which helped the story seem to be more real. As the story came to an end, the reader felt all was right in the world for that brief moment. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

4.5 Stars…This book was just slightly off the mark. While the storyline was very interesting, it lacked the finesse we’ve all come to expect from Delta James. The characters were well developed but Harper’s character was so disjointed—one could get really lost in the transition. Plot development and details were really good. Even though you could anticipate some of the action—how it played out was often not at all what you were expecting! Well done 👍 indeed. That brings us to the HEA…man oh man—not st all what you expected. You can tell that the Harper and Reed story is nowhere close to finished. There’s another episode or two left in this story for sure. I can’t wait to see what develops! Grab a copy of The Lasso Master today—you don’t want to miss a thing in this series! The Lasso Master is part of the gripping “Cowboys of Silver Spur Security” series. Reed Malone is a billionaire former SEAL and a Dom at the BDSM Iron Spur Club. Harper Langston was a professional thief who changed her ways and wanted to return stolen artifacts. She is strong, brave, and a Sub. They meet when she is in the Iron Spur Club looking for antiquities and he catches her. This was the start of a fascinating relationship.

Harper is being chased and asks Reed for help. Her former mentor who taught her how to steal is after her and both her and Reed’s lives are in danger. This is a fast-paced, engaging story that Delta James is known for. It pulls the reader in from the very first chapter. I highly recommend The Lasso Master. Just set enough time aside because it will be hard to put down! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily

Harper Langston was a con artist and thief in another time period, the victim of youth and a mentor who betrayed her trust. She now helped restore stolen pieces to their owners who may not want the notoriety of law enforcement to recover artifacts. She was searching for a piece that went missing from gallery in San Antonio, going to the Iron Spur lifestyle club to see about a possible lead since her former mentor often used clubs to exchange stolen goods. She was met by Reed Malone, one of club owners, oil heir, former SEAL and one of founders of Silver Spurs Security who escorted her out of club… but with her former mentor still in the picture and hunting her, could Reed help keep her safe without falling for the elusive former thief??? You will need to read this intense story to see what happens… I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.

Oooh, I've been waiting for Reed's story, and it doesn't disappoint! Harper is a fireball and the perfect challenge for Reed. My heart goes out to all the struggles she faced and had to fight through. No wonder she has such a tough shell and doesn't trust people. Reed's been taught that trust is a rair commodity as well, and can be easily shattered. Delta really piled it on Harper and she's not sure she'll get out of this one unscathed, certainly not alone. Reed seems to know getting involved means trouble, but there's just something compelling him to do it anyway. This story is full of action, drama, Mystery, and of course there's plenty of steam. You'll be on the edge of your seat, gripping your Kindle, and holding your breath. Silver Spur Security is on the case, and this one's personal!

Reed Malone is a billionaire, ex-seal, and co-owner of Silver Spur Security and the Iron Spur. Reed is well known for his roping skills at the Iron Spur, an exclusive club for those with certain proclivities. Reed thinks he is in for another typical night, but quickly realizes that there is a gorgeous thief, Harper Langston, casing his establishment. Reed and Harper have to work together to find a priceless artifact, and get a little playtime in too.

I enjoyed the book and appreciated the emotional depth of the bond that formed between Reed and Harper. I also liked the slow transformation of both characters.
Ethan, of when he realized what he was missing by working so much, and the change in attitude from grump to a more lighthearted person. I recommend this book.

Reed Malone meets his match, when he ran across Harper Langston. She came to the Iron Spur looking for an antiquity, but Reed caught her in the act and had her escorted out. In that short time, she made quite an impression on Reed, because he could not stop thinking about her. Evidently, he did the same for her, as a few days later, she called him with a may day needing rescued immediately. He went and got her then took her to his estate, where they discussed possiblies of whom was behind her problems. Later, heart broken she had to leave, as her old trainer was blackmailing her with Reed's life, in search once again of the antiquity on her own. A super fantastic action packed, romantic, suspense that will capture your attention from the very beginning to the end.

I loved reading this deliciously hot and juicy book as it started in a BDSM club, the characters were sensational. Harper was a curator Stuart took care of her then showed her the ropes, he studied her imprints and set her up when he stole an artefacts. Reed Malone, he's ex-SEAL, co-founder of Silver Spur Security, one of the founding owners of the Iron Spur. Reed's interest peaked when she walked into the club then when she left he looked into her history. Harper rang Reed for help she wanted to clear her name and find the piece, Reed agreed to help her as long as she submitted to him. The heat between them just got hotter than hot.

This is almost love at first sight, not something Reed ever thought would happen to him and certainly not with the little thief he caught in his club. This is an intense story about black market trade in artifacts and more under the guise of a network run through dubious BDSM clubs. As Harper and Reed close in on the person threatening Harper, she gets a message threatening Reed and she runs to protect him. It is a fascinating and intriguing story but while Harper and Reed seem to have a happy ending, the story does not come to any resolution but there is no indication there will be a continuation of this story but I hope so, the possibilities are tantalizing.

This was my first book by Delta James and I was very impressed with her writing and really liked the plot. I love the descriptive words that she uses like a tool to paint the perfect character for the reader. There was plenty of action in the book and the tensions are high between the main characters until they finally ignite on the pages.

It does deal with Dom/Sub so that might be a trigger for some people out there. This is also part of a series but I was not lost at all coming into the story. Delta James drops the important information where necessary. This is a quick and fast paced read that I really enjoyed. I'm looking forward to reading more of her work.

I had, in my mind, expected something a bit more spicy from the title. Having said that it was still an enjoyable read. Reed and Harper have an instant connection, but they are so opposite. Reed and Harper are like the opposite sides of a coin. One who is a former SEAL and runs his life upholding the law and one who is a thief, albeit one with honor. It is that honor that binds them together as they try to figure out the mystery behind some artifacts. And as their relationship grows, the dangerous and suspenseful situation, they find themselves in continues to grow. A good addition to the series

Reed Malone knows exactly who Harper Langston is when she walks into the Iron Spur Club. She definitely doesn't trust the head of Silver Spur Security, but he may be the only person she can trust to prove she did not steal the priceless artifact.
Wow, this is a very steamy and action-packed romance with some suspense, BDSM play, unexpected twists, and a happily ever after. Wonderful characters that are very realistic and kept me engaged in the story from the first page. A must-read addition to this series that I highly recommend to other readers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary ARC received from Book Sirens.

The Lasso Master is an action packed rollercoaster ride full of stolen artifacts, evil villians, suspense, mystery, a little human trafficking, and romance. This book is the 4th in the Cowboys of Silver Spur Security and we have met many of the characters before. The story makes me feel that Morgan and Harper still have unfinished business. Both of these characters bring traumatic pasts to the table and they have to find away to get their insecurities and doubts. The chemistry between them is at a visceral gut wrenching level and you do not want the story to end. This has dual POV and helps the reader understand this coouple better. I truly enjoyed this read.

Harper is a thief that was trained to enter a room and own it and she does. Reed is head of the security company and part owner of Iron Spur. When Harper enters the club, he watches her and knows she is up to something. He will confront her and his facination will be hooked. Harper doesn't like giving up control and when she asks him for help, he will demand it. The heat that burns when Harper allows Reed to take control is hot. They are destined to be together but danger will test the tenative connection that they have. I enjoyed reading this book.
