Rate this book
When a high-powered lawyer meets her holiday match, all contracts are off the table

Ambitious lawyer Emma Reynolds has spent years climbing the corporate ladder. She's on the verge of making partner, but there's one her family's constant pressure to settle down.

When her sister reminds her of a high-stakes childhood bet that hinges on being engaged by her thirtieth birthday, Emma makes the most logical decision—she hires a fake fiancé for Christmas week.

Enter Nick Martinez, a charming photographer hired through the high-end "Holidates for Hire" agency. He's supposed to be the perfect charming, professional, and—most importantly—temporary. The contract is strictly business, no complications.

But when a snowstorm, meddling family members, and only one bed create unexpected proximity, Emma's carefully constructed plan begins to unravel. As Nick effortlessly charms her entire family (and maybe Emma herself), the line between fake and real feelings blurs.

With her career dreams and heart suddenly at odds, Emma must decide if partnership at her law firm is truly what she wants—or if the most perfect match might be the one she never saw coming.

A heartwarming, laugh-out-loud Christmas romance about finding love in the most unexpected package.

This book was so good! I loved the whole fake engagement becoming maybe real. Emma and Nick's story was just so good.
