From the time he was a child, Everett Dawson has known he was different. But under his carefully curated persona as a successful country music artist, no one else in the world ever would. That all changes the night of his Nashville show when he loses control onstage for everyone to see. A mistake that has him fleeing the nearest exit and stumbling upon a woman breaking into his venue.
Trapped in the middle of her own mid-life crisis, Summer Rogers is convinced she makes nothing but impulsive decisions. Including the one where she offers to nanny for the newfound single dad with a career he’s desperate to salvage.
Accepting help goes against everything Everett believes in. But with a tour on the line, it’s his only option. He needs childcare. She needs financial freedom. It’s strictly professional… until secrets spill, boundaries blur, and sparks fly.
I thought this was so sweet. The Sound of Summer is a single dad meets nanny story, with him being a famous singer. I think my favorite thing was how Summer handled Everett’s condition, and how she didn’t make him feel like it was a weakness. She made him realize that his life was unique in a way because of it.
I LOVED Quinn. She such an adorable child. She immediately takes a liking to Summer as her nanny, and they have so much fun together. Also that scene where Summer and Everett get her cat was so funny!
Anyone else cried when Quinn started calling Summer ‘mommy’? No? Just me? Okay..😪
This was the very first arc book I have ever received since starting my book account! Not only am I very honored, but incredibly blessed to have read a story filled with layers and depth that truly touched my heart! As someone who had no idea that the story was going to touch on the topic of disabilities, I found myself intrigued because I have people that I love in my life that have disabilities as well. Reading from the perspective of both characters, offered a lot of insight on how to deal with certain situations, and even enlightened me to continue, have hope! I’ve never given second chance, romance books, a try either and I think this book did it incredibly well! Thank you for allowing me to have the privilege to read something so touching and inspiring, I really will carry these characters with me forever!
Newly divorced Summer Rogers has always been a little impulsive, flitting from job to job with no real passion. When she meets country star Everett Dawson by chance and accidentally tells his mother in law that she’s his new nanny, things get even more interesting.
I expected this to be a fun celebrity romance (which is very much was) but it’s also so much more than that. Everett may be a very successful country star, but he’s dealing with a lot of demons from his past and struggles to ask for help. Luckily, Summer is exactly what he needs.
Read this for -single dad/nanny -celebrity -music -disability rep -therapy rep -open door, a few scenes with mild details
Thank you to the author for the eARC! The Sounds of Summer is on sale today, including on kindle unlimited!
I am a sucker for a single dad romance guys. & this one was so perfect. I’m left wanting more of Summer, Everett and Quinn. Single dad AND a country music star - I was hooked! My heart broke for Everett as a newly single father, trying to navigate through this new way of life for him and the cutest 4 year old, Quinn. He has to learn to push past his own childhood trauma to help do what’s best for her.
The character growth for not only Everett, but Summer as well. As a newly divorced woman, her ex pretty much told her she was always too much. Finally finding what it is she wanted to do. I loved watching the growth for them both on as individuals, as well as learning to trust each other and open up. Their banter and teasing had me laughing out loud. Also, their meet cute had me swooning! Also, a cute little outdoor loving, man hating orange kitten. 😂 All the side characters were perfection and can’t wait to see who the next story is about! 👀
This was the sweetest, most wholesome story ever. I'm a sucker for single dad as much as I love a good celebrity romance and when they write music??? God, this is my weakness.
The relationship between the two main character is the best. I love how they meet and then reconnect later on. Summer is amazing, a breath of fresh air in this story and her relationship with Quinn was so cute to witness. We can really feel that the book is written by someone who has children because it's so accurate it made me cry with how seen it made me feel.
4.5 stars!!! Did I finish this book or did it finish me? 😭 I was not prepared for how emotional this book would make me. Real life situations & characters that you can relate to will get me EVERY SINGLE TIME. I absolutely loved that both main characters were in their 30s & already gone through a lot of life trauma before meeting one another. It made it very easy to connect to the characters & fly through the book. Everett is the epitome of a green flag MMC, not to mention he’s a hot single dad musician! Summer is the divorced independent woman trying to figure out what’s next & of course Everett’s daughter brought them together when they’re least expecting it. I can’t end this review without mentioning how well Meagan incorporated the auditory processing disorder throughout the book. Representation in books is so important & I learned a lot about a disability that I knew very little about prior.
Also, really hoping for more books in this series because I would LOVE to see more about side characters Will, Julia, Emma, etc!
Single dad trope? Yes, please—sign me up. But I’ll be honest, this one made me work for it. It took me a while to settle in and even longer to fully buy into Everett’s whole vibe. (Sorry, sir, but sometimes I wanted to shake you and say, “Man up already!” 😂)
On the bright side, I adored Summer—warm, kind, and just the right amount of sunshine for this story. Everett’s daughter Quinn was a sweet as can be, and her bond with Summer had me melting. The representation of auditory processing disorder was new to me, and I genuinely appreciated learning about it along the way.
For a story that only spans five weeks, these two move fast—blink and they’re deep in it. And while there were plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, it also went a lot deeper (and sadder) than I expected, with more than a few tear-jerking scenes.
The real heartbeat of the book is its message that music heals—and it absolutely does! I got the feeling a book about Emma & Will is next and I’ll absolutely read it!
The Sound of Summer is the perfect read for this time of year, so cute!
It’s based in Boise Idaho and of course I love that even more being from Idaho!
I love Everett and Summers story! Everett’s battle within himself and thinking he’s a failure broke my heart. There’s so many things I felt I took away from this book for my life, too!
I thought their banter was so cute! The way Summer would crack jokes had me chuckling. Especially Chris Stapleton 🤣 you’ll have to read it to find out what I mean.
* A giant hank you so much Meagan for sending me an ARC copy! 🩷
The SWEETEST book I’ve ever read. I don’t even know how to explain just how much I loved this one, I’ve been in a reading slump and it pulled me right out!! Everett is perfect😭 he’s such a good dad and the way summer steps in and fits perfectly into their lives😫 it was so sweet🥹 The romance was so natural and bloomed between them perfectly. It was so emotional, tugging at your heart strings in the best way. Meagen, thank you so much for having me as an arc reader, another perfect book🥹💓
I absolutely loved this book. I am not a huge romance reader, but this book grabbed my attention from the beginning and never let it go! Before I knew it, I looked down and saw that I had read over 100 pages in one sitting. The characters, the setting, and the plot just flowed so perfectly. In fact, I think that's what made this book so easy to read - it just... flowed. I never felt like things were dragging or that things weren't being flushed out properly, either. I really love how Meagan writes; all of her books have felt like this for me. Highly recommend this one if you want something quick & easy, but also something that you can't wait to tell others about! It's a 5/5 stars for me.
Though I loved the premise of this story, I did feel like it was a bit all over the place at certain moments. A lot of characters thrown in, that didn’t really offer much to the story. I loved the portrayal of a character with autism. I very much enjoyed Henry and his personality. I love how disabilities were showcased in the book.
Tropes To Enjoy: Grumpy x sunshine romance Single Dad romance He Falls First Country Singer
This book was so different from Meagan’s other books. I absolutely adored the story line, banter, emotional depth and teasing. The combination of all that made for such a tender story of overcoming life’s challenges and becoming who you were meant to be (or have been all along).
I can’t count on my fingers the amount of times I laughed out loud over the banter between Everett and Summer. Summer’s teasing paired with Everett’s grumpiness was so good! Throw in the sweetest little girl and I was completely smitten.
What I’m learning…I’ll pretty much read anything Meagan writes! Her stories are full of emotion, multilayered character with real life problems, but most of all a happily ever after that isn’t always what you expect. She is an absolute hidden gem!
Thank you Meagan Williamson for the ARC. All thoughts shared in this review are completely my own.
I wanna thank Meagan and her team for choosing me to be one of the ARC readers. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Everett, Summer and Quinn.
I loved this book much. It had so much emotions and it was really relatable especially when it came to Everett and his daughter Quinn. But that doesn't mean Summer wasn't relatable as well. These characters from the start had me wanting more and more because they're special character and I loved their character development. I have so much respect for Summer because she made a decision that was hers and she didn't want to depend on anyone anymore to take care of her or end up in another situation like the one she had just come out of. And a little sidenote on that: I was so happy that he left, I know they wouldn't let him ruin their happiness but thank God he left because he was just disgusting. And with this book, I compared two characters that I disliked, him and Caroline and the difference is that she came around and got herself another daughter of the situation. Trust when I tell you Caroline had an amazing character development, loved every second of it. And then there was Quinn, she was adorable and she was selfless and so quick to forgive like her dad which I loved, it was sweet seeing her with Everett and Summer.
Overall I give this book a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. Quite literally LOVED this book SO MUCH and yeah I wanted to slap some sense into Everett sometimes BUT can we talk about how patient out beautiful Summer was? She was also VERY selfless and she always put everybody ahead of herself. One of my favorite scenes is her rushing to him after that jealous threat she got and because she wanted so bad to protect him, she put off her life and flew to this man, she is so EXTRAORDINARY! And I know Everett was going through his personal stuff along with Quinn's personal stuff and then there was El🥺 *sighs* but thaymt FIRST FIRST night that Everett saw Summer, something just changed and his heart knew she was the one. It was all about the sound of Summer and the fact that she already loved him, not in that way, it was even more special. They balanced each other out very well and they just supported each other. They have a piece of my heart.
P.S. After reading this fantastic book, what I wany to now know? Will Jake and Julia end up back together? Is there something going on between Emma and Will? Bring on the next books PLEASE!😏😉
Everett Dawson, a successful country music artist, faces life-changing circumstances that bring him back to his hometown as the sole parent to his four-year-old daughter. He’s unsure how to navigate the changes, the grief, or the constant battle with feeling like he’s not “enough.” Then Summer Rogers stumbles into his life, bringing even more change. Everett is searching for support for his daughter, while Summer is seeking financial independence from her ex. What begins as a mutually beneficial arrangement gradually leads to blurred boundaries, healing, and complicated feelings.
As a first-time reader of Meagan Williamson’s work, I quickly found myself invested in Everett and Summer’s story. There’s an abundance of emotion, character growth, and multidimensional main and side characters. The way Williamson incorporates disability representation is beautifully and respectfully done. Her characters are not defined by what makes them different—they’re fully seen, and their experiences are normalized in a way that’s never condescending.
The conflict Everett faces—balancing his career, learning to parent, and grieving the loss of his fiancée—is portrayed with incredible nuance. You feel the push and pull, the fear, the doubt, and the deep desire to simply be enough. Summer carries her own baggage, too. Though she appears confident to the outside world, there are moments when her past relationship—where she was never truly supported—comes through.
Everett and Summer’s relationship unfolds from a place of genuine compassion and empathy. The way they anticipate each other’s needs is tender and quietly powerful—something many people hope for but rarely find. And let’s not forget Everett’s growth as a father and Summer’s connection with not only Quinn, but the other children around her. It’s heartwarming and real.
This story highlights the importance of healing, acceptance, and the reminder that it’s never too late to start over. There’s so much hope written into these pages for anyone who may see parts of themselves in Everett, Henry, Quinn, or Summer. The romance is beautiful, but it’s the layered love stories—romantic, familial, and communal—that make this book unforgettable.
I really fell in love with this story and these characters. I can relate so much to the struggles of acceptance of your child struggling and ultimately being diagnosed with a disability. Both of my little boys are on the Autism spectrum and I honestly felt like I handled it better with my first son than I did with my second. And part of that was similar to Everett’s feelings of guilt for “passing it along” to his child. While their struggles differ some to my boys’ struggles, as a parent, I related deeply. And that made this story really hit home and hit hard emotionally.
I love Everett & Summer’s journey to love. I love the openness and unconditional acceptance they shared. I love their friendship, their heat & chemistry too, their vulnerability, and their trust in one another. They had a clear & undeniable connection from the moment they met & their journey was just beyond beautiful.
And little Quinn?? How precious is she?? Both of my boys also have speech delays as a part of their Autism and so I could relate here as well. Seeing her sweet soul, her love & acceptance of others, and her ability to forgive…. She was just adorable, and I could see why Summer fell head over heels for her too. What a cutie.
I also loved seeing the growth within the side characters too….especially with the mother-in-law Caroline. What a change! It was yet another beautiful part of these character’s journeys. I can’t imagine her grief as a mother—not that it excuses her behavior through most of the book—but I do have empathy for her.
I could go on & on. But ultimately: I loved this story. It’s an emotional one for sure. There’s spicy moments, but mostly is a slow burn romance… and then a lot of vulnerability, leading to character growth. Highly recommend this one! It gives me hope for humanity and for my boys. Thank you Meagan for this story.
Y’all…I am actually so obsessed with this book! I love Meagan’s writing style and her ability to make me feel the raw emotions she’s writing on the page. This one made me laugh, smile, and cry…more than once!! I absolutely could not put this story down once I started it.
Everett Dawson is definitely in the running for my favorite single dad. My heart broke for him multiple times throughout this read but I love how he continued to grow and show up not only for his daughter, but for others he considered important in his life. Summer, our FMC, is fun, caring, and passionate. I love how she doesn’t shy away from who she truly is and embraces whatever adventure she finds herself on next. There was an incredible amount of growth from both of our characters that helped me absolutely adore them. These two had immaculate banter from the very first interaction. Summer’s teasing was the perfect match for Everett’s grumpiness and the Chris Stapleton references made me laugh every single time.
Add to the mix an adorable little girl as Everett’s daughter, Henry, a little boy that was easy to love, plus all the other side characters, and we have one heck of a romcom! I love how this found family came together and how everyone grew into acceptance and happiness. Even a certain mother-in-law had won me over by the end. This book incorporated some heavier themes and every one of them was handled with care and portrayed such real emotion.
Do you like the grumpy single dad x nanny trope? Because if yes, you need to read this one!! And if no…you should read it anyways and see if you change your mind. Thank you to author Meagan Williamson for the opportunity to read this eARC!! All feedback is my own, honest opinions.
Summer, recently divorced and Everett, a country singer and single dad meet at a time they are both a little lost and searching for a change and someone who meets them where they are.
Everett feels shame about something he learned about himself as a child, and summer gives him a safe place to deal with it.
Summer is strong willed, undecided on her career, and fiercely loyal to those she cares for.
She can read a room...or at least one Everett is in. When she sees him struggling to balance his career, his daughters schedule, and a tense relationship with his extended family, she volunteers herself to help as his nanny.
Overall, I liked the idea of this. I love summer as a character. I feel like Meagan writes really stong women, and I appreciate that. And I loved the parts with Henry and how it spotlighted his autism. But this one as a whole just didn't quite land for me. (and I Hate saying that 😭)
Things that didnt work for me..The relationship felt a little too fast, just not enough emotional tension, and I didn’t really like Everett that much 🫣 He was a little too grumpy for me at times. In the end there are some relationships I felt where healing and worth exploring then others that felt like were tidied up too nicely. There were also alot lf characterss introduced in book 1 that I felt deluted the story a little. Now that we know them, book 2 may be off to a good start!
I never struggled with the pacing when I picked it up or anything and still think it's worth the read if youre interested! It could also just be that Where the Blackline Ends reigns supreme for me!
Summer Rogers has an existential crisis in the middle of a concert. Fresh from a breakup, she feels as though her life has no direction. She flits from job to job, trying to find the thing that will speak to her, that she’s passionate about. Instead of finding it, she feels lost. Instead of enjoying a happily ever after, she’s alone and staying on the couch of her best friend. • Everett “Rhett” Dawson is a world famous country singer whose life is spiraling. When his fiancée passes away, he’s left as the sole parent of his beautiful, spunky 4-year-old daughter, Quinn. His unconventional profession is a challenge to him being able to care for her, not to mention the secrets he’s keeping buried. • As he has a meltdown and leaves the stage in the middle of the concert, he escapes outside to get some air, only to run into Summer. She strangely is able to calm him down and bring him back from the brink. Imagine his surprise when she shows up weeks later at his house in Idaho for his daughter’s birthday party. As Summer steps into the role of nanny to Quinn, the three of them form an unshakeable bond. When it’s all said and done, they may discover what they need most is found in the unlikeliest of places. • • This book left me sitting in all my feelings.
First things first. Meagan is an amazing author, and this book was so incredible, just like I knew it would be. I loved the disability rep and how the characters truly cared for each other. So much was packed into this story, and it left my heart bursting.
Seeing Summer stand on her own two feet and step into a role she never expected was everything. And I loved that the side character you love to hate even had a redemptive arc and took ownership of his actions in the end. It was truly such an amazing story. I’m fully invested in these characters, and I can’t wait to see what happens next! Read this book. You won’t be sorry. 🫶🏼
I was so lucky to receive an ARC of this book!! Thank you to Meagan Williamson for the opportunity!
First off…I’m so sad that I finished this book because I’m ready for book #2! I felt all the things as I read this. I felt like I was truly there, experiencing everything alongside them.
“I just bought a shirt with your face on it.”
That was my favorite (and most relatable) quote from the story because that is definitely something I would say (and have said) when meeting a musician. I chuckled because girl, same.
I loved watching Everett’s growth throughout the story and him learning how to vulnerable with Summer and most importantly, himself. I’ve added him to my list of book boyfriends for sure. I also kept picturing him as Morgan Wallen for whatever reason, which is totally fine with me!
Summer was a brilliant force in her own right. I want her to be my best friend. She also had her own growth that was fun to see throughout. I think her and Everett were both changing into people that are even more perfect for each other.
This book deserves all of the hype, reads, and love. It’s the perfect combo of all of my fave tropes and was written so well! I’ve been thinking about it since finishing it two days ago to be honest!
“I promised myself a long time ago I'd never need anyone. I don't know how not to need Summer.”
I absolutely adored this book and these characters, such a beautifully written story. I really resonated with some of these characters, the emotional layers in this book made it. The way Meagan wrote disability representation was done so well, as a mom of children with autism this was so refreshing to see.
Everett is a country music star, his life being turned upside down brings him back to his hometown. He’s trying to navigate parenthood, while also grieving. He meets summer, she trying to find financial stability after her divorce. Everett happens to need a nanny to help with his daughter, this could benefit both of them 😉
I loved this book so much, seeing the growth of both Everett and Summer. Everett was really hard on himself, never feeling good enough. Summer really helped him see his worth, how much he was loved. Summer never felt supported in her past relationship, now finally feeling the love and support she’s always needed. I loved Quinn and Henry, the relationship Summer forms with both of them was so special. This truly was a beautiful read, I can’t wait to see what’s next for this series 🌸💖
Meagan Williamson has crafted a deeply moving, character-driven romance with themes of healing, identity, and the quiet power of acceptance. Everett is not just a hot country singer and single dad, he’s a vulnerable, layered hero navigating neurodivergence in the public eye. Watching him let his guard down was as rewarding as it was heart-wrenching.
Summer is a heroine I’ll root for again and again. She’s flawed and impulsive, but full of heart. I loved how unapologetically herself she was, even when life was falling apart. Her connection with Everett was both tender and slow-burning, but the real show-stealer was her bond with Quinn. The found-family element, especially the way Summer helped Everett and Quinn reconnect as father and daughter, had me wiping away tears.
What truly sets this book apart is the balance between deep emotional storytelling and laugh-out-loud banter. The writing feels cinematic, and the representation of auditory processing disorder was respectful, informative, and seamlessly woven in. The Sound of Summer is more than just a love story, it’s about finding freedom in who you are, even when the world tells you to hide it. 10/10 recommend this heartfelt gem!
🌸”You don’t have to be afraid anymore. You can be yourself, Everett, and the people who love you will stay. The ones who don’t were never meant for you.”🌸
Single dad romance has slowly become one of my favorite tropes and The Sound of Summer is the perfect example of why. For me there is literally nothing better than a grumpy single dad and a ray of sunshine nanny who comes in and flips his world upside down, which is literally Everette and Summer. The banter and tension between these two was everything, especially the Chris Stapleton references. 🤣
What I loved most about The Sound of Summer was the character growth. Almost every character, even our side characters go through major transformation throughout the book and it’s truly beautiful. Meagan wrote really tough topics related to parenting and loss with such grace and really brought their emotions to life. I’m so excited to see what happens next in this world!
🗓️The Sound of Summer releases July 15th.

I received a review copy and these are my thoughts:
After having recently lost his fiancé, Rhett Dawson didn’t also need to have his career hang by a thread. Taking some time off, he goes back to his childhood home with his 4-year-old daughter, which he now has to care for “alone”. But an unexpected guest at his daughter’s birthday party, will present him with the help he didn’t know he needed - with his daughter and for himself. Summer is recently divorced, living with her best friend and her autistic son and, is in between jobs. The last person she expected to run into was the man she never thought she’d ever see in the flesh again.
Meagan delivers a beautiful, hopeful and patient love story. I loved that it’s a love story between the three characters: father - daughter - nanny. Rhett/Everett is a country star but he is also a struggling father and a reserved man, keeping a secret. I loved seeing him grow and become more confident in his “Everett persona”. Summer was a dreamer and struggled with being a little impulsive and not seeing things through. She too, comes a long way and is a sweet, caring and nurturing woman. Together, Summer and Everett make a great team and Quinn (Everett’s daughter) was so adorable!
The chemistry between Everett and Summer is evident from their first encounter. This story was very slow burn and it was delicious. All the lingering looks and small touches; the flirty banter and the deep conversations meant they were emotionally connected before the spice hit.
The auditory processing disorder rep was done in a careful and sensitive way. I had not heard of this condition before and did a little research about it since reading this book.
I very much appreciated that this was a story full of emotion and emotional moments but at the same time, it was not angsty. There was also no third-act break up and unnecessary drama.
So glad to have been apart of the arc and get to read the book early. Was totally obsessed with the book from the very first page. Every book she writes is 10/10.
Everett is a country singer and summer is newly divorced. Everett is facing life changing circumstances that bring him back home as a single dad of a four year old daughter. He’s unsure how to navigate change and grief and not feeling good enough. When major loss makes him return home to reset and take care of his little girl. Summer Rogers stumbles into his life, she brings even more change. She is learning to restart after a divorce and offers to be the nanny for the country singer she once ran into. Everett is searching for support for his daughter, while Summer is seeking financial independence from her ex. What begins as a mutually beneficial arrangement gradually leads to blurred boundaries, healing, and complicated feelings. If you love a good celebrity and regular girl like a hallmark type movie love this book is definitely for you.

THE SOUND OF SUMMER by Meagan Williamson, releasing on July 15th!
This book was such a good read for this time of year, it was both emotional but yet light-hearted at the same time. This was the book that just grabbed your attention and the next thing you know you have read almost half the book without even realizing it. The way this book flowed was just so perfect.
Everett, who was a newly single dad trying to navigate through his new way of life for him and his cute little 4-year-old daughter, Quinn as well as balance his life as a country music star. Then you have Summer who was freshly divorced, feeling like she needs to find herself and what she wants to do with the rest of her life.
The character growth in everyone in this book was awe-inspiring. Add in the fun banter and teasing between Summer and grumpy Everett and this was such a great summer read.
Thank you, Meagan Williamson, for the ARC of this book.
Rhett is a newly single dad and a country music star struggling to hold it all together—his music career is on the line after a panic attack on stage, and he’s suddenly full-time parenting his daughter after years of being more absent than present.
Summer is fresh off a divorce and looking for a fresh start. She ends up at one of Rhett’s concerts to celebrate, where a chance parking lot encounter sparks undeniable chemistry. Neither of them expects to see each other again… until Summer unknowingly brings her best friend’s son to Rhett’s daughter’s birthday party. One needs a nanny. The other needs direction. Both find more than they bargained for.
This book is full of heart, healing, and the kind of slow, swoony build-up that makes you feel like you’re falling in love right alongside the characters. Meagan Williamson has yet again delivered a story that hit all the right notes for me.
Such a sweet, small town story following a famous country singer and his nanny🤠✨
Rhett never thought he’d see the woman he had a quirky meet cute with again, until she shows up at his home for his daughter’s birthday party weeks later. After introducing herself as the nanny to his family to save face, they fall into rhythm with school pick ups and volunteering at the school play.
Rhett has Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) and struggled with his disability since childhood. After learning his daughter, Quinn, may have inherited the disability, Rhett crumbles with insecurities and doubts of being a good father. My girl Summer lifts him up and supports the family with so much love and compassion. They are the sweetest blended family and I love them together so much🩷
If you’re a fan of small town, single dad/nanny, grumpy/sunshine with disability representation, this book is so perfect for you!!
Meagan Williamson has a true gift for writing heartfelt stories with characters who feel incredibly real—characters who will steal your heart, make you laugh, break you just a little, and stay with you long after the final page.
The Sound of Summer is no exception. This emotional, heartwarming story follows Summer, a recently divorced woman trying to rediscover herself and gain her independence, and Everett—aka rising country star Rhett Dawson—a widower with a heavy past, doing his best to be a loving father to his daughter, Quinn.
I adored the slow burn, the undeniable chemistry, but most of all, I loved watching these two characters grow individually while also helping each other heal. Their journey felt honest, messy, and beautiful in all the right ways.
If you're a fan of single dad x nanny, found family, music stars, small-town romance, or thoughtful disability representation, this one belongs on your TBR.
