Well, that was quite a ride! Wow. I had a lot of fun with this book!

Blue, the huge pharmaceutical company executive, had already shown up in a few previous books as a side/cameo character, and every time he appeared I found myself wondering whether he could actually carry a book as the main character. He always came across as very serious, reserved, and kind of intimidating. At the same time, those are often the most interesting characters to watch fall in love. 😊
The other main character is Gabriel, a young hacker who gets himself into trouble while working with an environmental organization. He's secretly in love with the group's leader, and in the end he basically becomes their scapegoat when things go wrong.

I was hooked from the very beginning! The book is split into two parts, and the first half is incredibly engaging. Something is always happening, and I never got bored. I kept turning pages because I needed to know what would happen next and how Gabriel would handle his new role as Blue's bodyguard, especially having his special ability of 5-sec precognition. It gave me a lot of strong emotions, and I was rooting for him the whole time.

The second half is very different because by then Blue and Gabriel are already together. I'm one of those readers who tends to lose interest once the couple finally gets together, so I read this part a lot more slowly. The events in the second half aren't focused only on the romance. They deal with a lot of larger issues that affect the series' overall world and storyline.

My final rating is 4.5 stars.

The first half of Blue and Gabriel's romance was genuinely exciting and easily my favorite part of the book. The second half was still interesting, but I personally don't get the same excitement once the characters are already together. That said, there was a kidnapping situation that absolutely got my heart racing. Not gonna lie, that scene was really well done.😊
But I think the second half was necessary because it finally resolved and wrapped up a lot of storylines that had been mentioned throughout the earlier books. It definitely feels like the author is getting ready to bring the series to a close and is tying up some of the remaining loose ends.
Overall, yes, this was a really exciting read!✨ I ended up liking Blue a lot more than I expected. He's incredibly honorable and caring, even though he can seem gruff, blunt, and emotionally distant on the surface. Underneath all of that, he has a huge heart, and that's what won me over.

LOVED IT! 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯

I’ll be honest, I’m usually not into billionaire characters.
But this book's CEO is completely different. Blue is genuinely amazing, and I ended up loving him so much he’s now one of my favorite E. West characters. So if you’re also not big on billionaire romances, don’t worry, this one kind of flips that trope on its head.

The story starts pretty dramatically, with Gabriel getting betrayed by his eco-activist group and their leader, despicable Marcel. Without Blue stepping in, he probably would’ve ended up in prison. Instead, he ends up working as his bodyguard. Yes, yes!
The romance is really well done and feels pretty different from the author’s other books. It’s a true slow burn, and things don’t really get penetrative between them until around the 50-60% mark. But there is quite an uncommon thing, a subtle aspect of creative anatomy here, nothing super different, but just enough to make things 'spicy'! 👏
Their relationship builds in a really nice way, especially since they’re coming from so different worlds in terms of experience and outlook, but they still somehow meet in the middle in a way that works.
I also really liked Gabriel’s ability to see a few seconds into the future. It worked cool in the bodyguard setup, and there are a few moments where he saves Blue from attacks using it, which felt sooooo exciting and intense.💯

The second half of the book gets a lot more dramatic. The main villain comes back, and we get the whole kidnapping situation with Blue and Gabriel plus the puzzle-solving segments. That part was just aaaaaamazing. I couldn’t put it down, the psychological games and challenges they go through are really well written and feel pretty unique for an MM romance.
My only real issue is that Eden West sometimes gives even the villains fairly soft endings. Personally, I’m more into harsher consequences and no fu*** redemption, but here the author clearly leans into giving second chances even to a pretty awful antagonist.

In summary, this was a quite interesting and pretty UNIQUE romance. There really aren’t many books like this out there. 💖
Also, I liked how well it ties together threads from the whole series. It works well as a standalone, but I’d still recommend reading The Heart of Winter first since there are some major spoilers for it.

Very much my kind of book! Intense action, a rough start, enemies to lovers, and a slow, well-developed emotional connection. One thing I really liked was the bigger picture. The story doesn’t narrowly focus only on one plotline or one couple, which can get boring for me. Instead, it shows many different aspects of the characters’ lives: the work of a CEO, the duties of a bodyguard, life-threatening attacks, exciting rescue scenes, growing passion and obsession, jealousy, and desire. It's much more than just a romance; it's building them as a couple. It also has a truly unique archnemesis storyline, with a really fun battle of minds! A very good urban fantasy with a strong plot and plenty of action. One of my favorite books by Eden West.
I read ARC, it's my honest review.

I enjoyed this one. The author's interjection at "part two" was... weird. Also unnecessary IMHO. But having read quite a few of her stories now, it feels like the pacing and use of English, even though it's not her first language, is getting smoother - which means it's a little easier to get immersed in the story without being jarred out of it by clunky language quite as often. 😊 Which brings me to Gabriel and Blue. I really liked the journey of these two coming together. I'm not sure it actually needed to be a 700+ page book, but despite that, it was actually a pretty quick read and kept me engaged throughout. I liked both Blue and Gabriel individually, and they were a solid match for each other, giving each of them the love they really did deserve. 🥰 I'm also completely down to read about these new the author introduced, and I'm looking forward to more from this world... although ngl, as much as I admire Blue's deep ethics and generosity, I can't say I'm thrilled that the author is going to pair Drax with 😂😂😂 Call me cold-hearted, but I would have been happy to see him rot. 🤷‍♀️ Still, I'm open to being convinced they deserve each other, so I'll be snatching up that book when it's out, too!!

Eden West did it again!
I adore this book! A Masterclass in Healing, Intimacy, and True Depth!
I am completely blown away! Eden West has truly done her characters justice, delivering a story with a level of thoroughness and emotional depth that you rarely find.
What made this a 5-star read for me wasn't just the incredible plot, but how earned every single milestone felt. We see right from the start that Blue is an absolute genius, and I loved that the author actually showed it with brilliant, clever details—like Blue's mind working so fast that Gabriel literally had to pull out his phone just to verify his Euler answers!
But the real magic of this book is the emotional journey. Both Blue and Gabriel are broken in their own ways, but watching them heal together was beautiful. I deeply appreciated that being true mates didn't automatically mean instant, effortless love. They had to work for it. Gabriel is naturally shy and had been burned by omegas in the past, yet he found the confidence to pursue Blue. Blue hated being touched and people in his space and because of this, every single conversation, handholding, caress felt like an incredible win-a true milestone in their relationship. Before the Matebond even came into play, Blue had to make the terrifying choice to be vulnerable. Seeing him open up to Gabriel and allow him to see the raw, hidden version of himself that absolutely no one else had ever seen was incredibly moving.
The intimacy between them-both physical and emotional-is so beautifully written. Gabriel is fiercely protective. I absolutely loved how he stepped in as Blue's alpha whenever other people disrespected him, immediately putting them in their places and creating a safe space Blue desperately needed. Having supportive families around them made their support system feel so grounded and real. By the time I hit the end of part one, starting part two felt absolutely necessary; there was so much character growth happening and so many loose ends that needed to be tied.
Their ultimate choice to choose each other culminating in this beautiful moment completely melted my heart:
"I love you too... And I claim you, Gabriel. Forever" 😍
If you love detail-oriented writing, deep healing arcs, a fierce alpha who stands up for his mate, and a romance that feels entirely earned, you need to read this immediately.

Another great entry from Eden West.
If you’ve read her other books then you know Blue Lowen, a genius Omega with some pretty interesting quirks. He has an aversion to touch and germs, he was injured as a young teen that affected his ability to have children and to mark/bond with an Alpha, so he has spent his life trying to help those around him.
But most of what people see is him trying to change sub-genders and mess with the biological natural order of things and they hate him for it. He has had more attempts on his life than he can count (though he does keep track) and he can’t even trust those he pays exceptionally well to guard him.
Gabriel is part of the Nolan family, he is an Alpha, but not your typical Alpha. He is a bit shy, a bit more reserved and bit more submissive than most Alphas. He has a tendency to do as he’s told which gets him into a lot of trouble…the kind of trouble with police, and jail time.
But there is a way out offered to him …a Second Chance way out and the man he once thought of as an enemy (for no reason other than he was told to) actually helps him with that second chance.
Gabriel finds his strength when it comes to guarding Blue. When someone disrespects Blue or talks down to him, Gabriel puts them in their place. When Blue’s life is threatened, Gabriel is there to protect him again and again.
Blue also sees that Gabriel has a brilliant mind and challenges him. He offers him more than just a bodyguard role, making sure he finishes school and has something to look forward to after school is over.
Their love grows naturally and though slow, it doesn’t feel like a slow burn. There are soft glances, hand touches, long stares, swimming together, and so much more…
This book was beautiful (as all Eden’s books are) but the love that grew from these two was so real.
And keep an eye on the character of Marlow and some beautiful metephors for what is happening in the current world.

Part One: 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Part One was so perfect. So so perfect I’m almost afraid to read Part Two (and possibly being disappointed).

But. I love Blue and Gabriel. They are so sweet my teeth ache just thinking about them.

It’s almost 1:30am and I gotta work tomorrow so I’m stopping here. Anyway. Work - gotta sleep.

What is sleep?

I ended up reading part two and I have mixed feelings. It wasn’t bad … but it didn’t meet my expectations. I just wanted that “moment” or that epic turning point but I guess I never felt that.

Throughout the story I felt like Gabriel gave so much and “showed” so much be we don’t quite get the same from Blue. I really wanted that “moment” or even realisation that Gabriel is important to Blue - because there is no real point where Blue is emotionally stricken or in turmoil for Gabriel; it always feels like it’s the other way around where Gabriel’s feeling are everywhere for Blue. I don’t know if I explained that properly - but I feel cheated out of Blue’s sudden panic FOR Gabriel, where he maybe almost loses Gabriel and has that realisation. Anyway.

I also didn’t like what happened in the 1 Year Later chapter. I guess I don’t agree with what Blue developed lol

Truly a great conclusion

When I read Winter's book (my first of Eden West's books) I was immediately taken with Blue and wanted his story. I was sad to know it hadnt been written yet, and followed along and read everything Eden wrote afterwards anxiously waiting for the day his book came out, and then promptly pre-ordered it. It arrived on my kindle at 4am, and I though I was only up for an early morning constitutional, I couldn't fall asleep because I had to start reading it immediately. Then I had to take breaks because I didnt want it to end! It was truly worth the wait.

Gabriel is a "soft" alpha with a big heart, very emotional, and doesn't fit the usual alpha mold. Blue is a hardened omega who doesn't think of himself as an omega after losing his reproductive organs in a tragic accident. He pushes Gabriel away from the start but Gabe just quietly is there to push back. He makes mistakes, and Blue forgives and they talk through their issues in the most healthy of ways. Its truly a beautiful relationship that teaches the importance of forgiveness, second chances, and that love can still come late in life.

Amazing and Wonderful

Here we have another amazing and wonderful story. I have been so excited for this book. Blue Lowen has fascinated me since the beginning and I was wondering how his story was going to turn out. Well I was not disappointed. You can tell that Eden West poured her sweat, blood and tears into this one, just as she has done all of the others. Putting a much younger Alpha, Gabriel, with an older Omega, Blue, sure was taking a risk but man oh man did it work out. Going from a shy young man to a furious possessive Alpha, Gabriel, gave Blue no chance but to fall head over heels despite himself. And Blue, gave Gabriel exactly what he needed to be the man and Alpha that he needed to be for the man he falls for. Exciting, tearful, sad, happy and ready to go ham on some people. This book deserves and gets 5 stars 🌟. Come enjoy the read and into a continuous stream of Omegas and their True Alpha Mates. 💜❤️

I had a really good time with Claim Me! From the very beginning, there was always something happening, so I never got bored. I especially loved Gabriel and his ability to see a few seconds into the future. It made the bodyguard storyline a lot of fun, especially during the attack scenes.
Blue ended up being my favorite part of the book. He seems cold and intimidating at first, but he's actually incredibly caring once you get to know him. Watching him and Gabriel slowly fall for each other was really satisfying.

There are kidnappings, mysteries, villains, rescue scenes, and a lot of bigger things happening in the background. The second half got especially intense, and I couldn't stop reading during the villain's puzzle and mind-game scenes.
A really fun read with a great slow burn in love / medium burn in sex, lots of action, and a well-earned HEA.

It's my favorite type of mix: action, mystery, danger, and romance, and I loved that the story felt much bigger than just the relationship.
Blue was definitely my favorite character. He seems cold and difficult at first, but once he starts opening up, you can see how much depth there is to him. Watching him and Gabriel slowly get closer was my favorite part of the book. Their relationship is so natural, and every step forward actually means real growth and healing.
The villain storyline, the mind games, the rescue scenes, and all the tension kept me hooked. It's for slow-burn lovers! If you like protective characters, emotional healing, and plenty of action, I’d definitely recommend this one.
Also a hot heat!🌶️
I need more Drax!

2.75 ⭐️

I came across this book on new releases post on reddit and it just called to me. And I kinda sorta like big books so I thought this being a 700 page tome was a plus. While I still like a big book, I felt that there was a lot of unnecessary padding in this book. I like my slow burn but not at a snail's pace. I wanted more of Blues perspective even though I liked Gabriel. I was just not as interested in the world as much this time around for some reason. I think it was just my mood as at any other time I would jump at the chance to explore a new world. I quite liked the romance in this book but it was a little slow and I wanted to see the 2 MC's be together in the world post them telling everyone they were together.

Not sure how to rate this book so I’ll settle at the middle point…
The story was rather good, even if the book was 700 pages long it wasn’t boring.
But I didn’t like Gabriel when he acted like a child and it bothered me several times during the book…
As of the two parts thing and the note in the middle to not being obligated to continue? It baffled me. It’s ridiculous writing so much and saying to the readers « you can stop here »…
So, liked the slow burn, and Blue and his traumas, and the story overall but some things were not so good…

A very emotional, intense and very unsual book :D Something different from the rest of this author's book.
Blue is such a sweetheart, and Gabriel is just my darling! I cheered for them so hard and soooo much personal growth in this book. I still hate Marcel :D
