Good stand alone story

Sometimes I want to read a book and have an actual ending and not a series. The author could easily create a continuation but this story ends without having to wait for closure.
Not sure this had a prepper feel to me (the lead character was described as a survivalist and wanted to see more of this knowledge base) but it was definitely an EMP centered storyline and the main plot of the book was realistic. That's important to me when I complete a book in this genre.

Great book!

This was a good easy read. Loved the characters and the message oh hope throughout. It shows that even in dark times good concurs evil and that there is something worth fighting for.

Didn’t finish

The story seemed a good one but too many mentions of god being the reason for it all happening. I just couldn’t continue. But don’t let it stop you.
