More Zeus Network drama and fighting. Book three was unnecessary. Lots of fighting, lots of plot twists, etc… no real storyline

I don’t think this needed to be spread over 4 books. There was a lot going on, different plot twists and whatnot. Some “action”. But for the most part I’m just ready for the story to be over lol. I’ll say it’s a decent enough book that you want to find out how it ends but again, this 3rd book just felt like it was dragging along. But at the same time it’s fast paced because I have no idea how much time has passed. Also the author’s note was hella aggressive🫣

And the drama continues! Savanna can't seem to catch a break, now carrying Legacy, sick and steadily having to worry about everything! Kairo wants revenge in the worst way, Jada and Moe are a few on his list. Monet and O are still trying to figure it out! A lot is going on but we will have to wait to see how Ms. Robin wraps it up! Great read, great series!

Stop Play with Kai & Vanna!
Everyone knows I love Kai and Vanna down! It’s no longer about the contract to me, it’s about respect and stopping those from playing with them. The way Robin is writing this here series will and going to have you in a chokehold!
Let’s chat for a moment. I’m going to start with f-boy Keenan! I’m so over him. Like he really wants his cake and eat it too. Ole boy really tried to come for Kai with that song, but the get back was much worst! That embarrassment - 🤣🤣🤣! I’m here for it! This man needs to stop coming for Kai. But the exposure and mic drop that Julius did left me speechless. Like he laid out all that man dirty laundry and when I say every piece of it, I mean just that! Now instead of just accepting his secret and he can’t get Kai the way he wants to, he decides he’s going to get his get back another way and I can’t wait to see how his actions against Julius play out. Cause babe, he has done the unbelievable or maybe he didn’t as he is a f-boy!
Savannah: My girl having a hard time with this pregnancy! Like after this I personally wouldn’t want another child - 🤣. But the feelings and love between her and Kai is getting stronger in my opinion but the past hurt has her guards up! Vanna, is however dealing with a lot and the fact her father that she yearn for after losing her mom it really out to get her and Kai! Like who really threatens the daughter the way he is, but I have faith Kai is going to handle him in the worst way along with his trifling god father - 😏! My girl can’t win for losing when it comes to her family but one thing she is for sure about and that her man - Kai!
Kai: this man here is so tired of everyone playing on his top! Not only does he have to watch out for Moe, he now has to keep an eye on his godfather Ty. Kai is so tired of everyone playing games with him like he not that ninja, but his actions will show them better than he can show them! When it comes to Vanna and their Legacy, he not playing with anyone. They not understand he is about that life and doesn’t think twice about it! When Keenan came for him with that bull, the get back was real and its goal was definitely public humiliation and that was a success - 🤣! My question is, how is he really going to act when the truth comes out about his uncle Ty cause it’s coming. The first red flag was how he was with Vanna auntie Danielle! Listen I’m ready for it all!
Jada: Babygirl done wrote a check her behind is going to be able to cash - 🤣! Listen she was so focus on getting back at Kai and Vanna, that she didn’t realize she was stepping into a trap! Oh and them hand that was out on her had me at the edge of my seat as she deserved ALL that and then some! But to think that Kai was going to protect her! Listen Kai stop all them hopes and dreams, oh but my girl shut that all the down and told her that them days are numbered - LOL!
When I say Robin is doing her big one with this, I mean just that! Oh and I’m loving the relationship between Monet and O! Listen she standing on business about him handling his business and not giving in until he does! Look forward to the development of their relationship!

A Little Disappointment Goes a Long Way
My least fav installment this was stuck between 2 and 3 stars. So more annoyances this time, but interwoven is the author's signature slick lines. Just wish these books had more meat to it. Grievances:
😐 Vannah smoking blunts or being around weed smoke when she a) was actively trying to get preggers b) suspected strongly she was preggers c) confirmed she was preggers and stay near people lighting up irked my spirit. We have Chrisean as a modern example of why that is dangerous. That ish isn't a cute look, and it came across as really ignant.
😐 HG or hyperemesis gravidarum is pure hell as described in this book, but it's also treatable. No doctor in 2025 will see a woman with a severe case and just say we are going to wait it out and just hospitalize you. NO ONE. Especially not a private 1:1 practice doctor. They will give you medicine for it because your health is paramount. The author did this for optimum dramatics, but it was a dumb as hell storyline addition.
😐 "We don't do these internet games" while playing internet games. These people make all their moves for internet likes and views. That's not really masterclass street moves. 😕
😕 The Rihanna abused photos reference doubly teed me off. In the context of the story, it came off really dismissive.
😕I was promised unhinged. Where is the unhinged
😕 The cover art, PR chatacter art, and descriptions tell us Vannah is a BBW or plus size. But here its dtopped that she's 170 lbs. At most, she'll probably be a size 10-12, maybe a 14, but doubt it. Below 200lbs is just a curvy thickems. Not a BBW. How mega disappointing.
😕Ty's hold up and Moe's anger both made zero sense so I'm assuming it'll make sense in the next book.
😕Saying "oh we are building something" but not actually showing the building something is bad filler.
But it is worth it if you want to see some of the villains get their just dessert.

I Like and Dislike it at the same time
One thing I love about hood dramas/romances are they are not predictable at all. You never know what is going to happen next. Even if you hate all the characters, you get wrapped up in a rollercoaster of bs. I really want to know how it all ends cause at this point I have no clue. With that being said I might move on. I’m on the fence cause this one was a struggle to read. I skimmed a lot and even with that it took me long to finish.
Now on to what I don’t like. This has the dreaded six degrees of separation. Everyone is linked to everyone inadvertently so and there are too many coincidences. They is a lot of unnecessary cursing, you have grown well established ppl fighting and carrying on like they didn’t make it out the hood, and the plot can get really messy and hard to follow.
There are way too many POVs. There are way too many conflicts going on. The characters are devolving instead of evolving. All of the characters started out established in their professions and now they are reduced to their hood activities. Kai isn’t producing music, Vanna and Monet are working in their shop, O isn’t making music, Jada isn’t SM influencing (or whatever she was doing). They are all just running around shooting, fighting, or f*cking.

The enemies are multiplying like they smelled blood in the water, and Kairo? That man is locked all the way in. His queen is carrying his legacy, and ain’t nobody getting close enough to threaten that. Savanna is his peace, his anchor, and his world—and he’s making it real clear that he will burn it all down before letting anyone snatch that away from him.
The drama? Unmatched. The tension? So thick I needed a machete to cut through it. And the way Kai is moving now that his plan is in full effect? Baby, we’re seeing a different beast, and I’m here for all of it.
Savanna holding her own, Kairo tightening his grip on everything around him, and that baby in the middle of all this chaos? Yeah, book 4 better come with stretch marks and a warning label because I know it’s about to go up even more.

This series just keeps pulling you in wanting more, expecting more and having it delivered.
Keenan still not wanting to accept his truth and blaming it on others; what he did to Julius was sad, but he should have known that after a decade nothing changed but he was blinded by love which caused him pain.
Jada funny now things no longer funny, Mo popping up like the man he was in her life, she was all cocky when she was speaking to Vanna about being with Mo now you want Kario to protect you nah sis you on your own; but I knew when I read that Mo went up in her raw she might have gotten pregnant now what😂😂.
Come on O I need you to handle your business with the kid so that Monet can love you the way the both of you deserve, and who knows if she didn't have a full hysterectomy she still producing eggs so y'all can get a surrogate this way the baby belongs to the both of you.
Uncle Ty secrets are coming out, I wonder who hacked the phone to send Kario that message, thank heavens Vanna never responded.

This book kind of felt like a filler a lot of drama, of course was still a lot of unanswered questions. Marlon hated his daughter that much that he will cause her that type of harm is crazy. I can’t wait until he gets exactly what he deserves. instead of being a father, he really is the enemy.
I want our girl out here having an stress-free pregnancy. I love her and Kai together I really do …..BUT I hate that she feels like she has to hide her feelings in order to protect Kai’s. And Kai better marry her cause every time he say, he think about marriage and then put it in the back of his mind….He really be pissing me off😒.. like he deserves happiness just like the next person.
Monet is a true ride to die friend that target seen had me dying😂😂😂…Jada really did had it coming🤭. I’m ready to see how this Ty situation is gonna work itself out, cause that I did not expect.

Mo is irking my nerves!!!…He out here in these streets upset over the drama he started years ago!!!…Ty need to put that energy twds Mo and leave Savannah alone!!!…I’m guessing Moe thought he was going to bring some drama to Ty because he had a thing for Savannah when she had no energy for Ty!!!…
I can’t wait to see what is next, because the drama kept coming!!!!!…
Jada got all the action she wanted and now she crying!!!…Gotta keep that energy strong when you being messy!!!…
Keenan has lost his tender mind!!!…I’m sure there is more of his story to unfold since he has gotta rid of his bed buddy!!!…

Talking about bloodlines and Bla Bla Bla but where were you throughout your daughter’s life??? I don’t even think this is about Savannah, this is his hatred for the Steeles. But how are you this invested suddenly when you didn’t even raise your child??? Be for real 😒

So this one got a little redundant again, but my goodness, if i still didn't enjoy it I would be lying. These characters are CRAZY. Like what is really wrong with Keenan and Jada? Possible SPOILERS: I really want to finish this series since I started it. This book kind of felt like a filler a lot of drama, with more unanswered questions. Moe’s hatred is losing me. Like you were a part of the past issues yet your daughter has to pay because you were a failure??? Ummmmmm okay I guess. Savannah uhhhhhhhh WTH. Why is it so hard to express yourself to Kai? Monet is a true friend and I hope O gets it together.
Ty has always rubbed me the wrong way. Like how are you hating the niece, sleeping with her aunt and at war with her dad. The plot has weakened a bit.

I finished this too fast. I’ve been hooked since book one. Whew, the drama is wild! Jada really shook things up, and now she’s looking for help? The audacity. Moe’s behavior toward his daughter is just unsettling—he really failed her. Monet proves once again she’s a real one. Savanna is definitely feeling the weight of that legacy, and Kennan… typical. Always hiding when things get real. Can’t wait to see what happens next

My Savanna baby... I hate the pain and doubt she is enduring. However, her village is holding her down, and Kairo... luck is on his side for real. The dude is a menace with a shield around him and handing out "L" and karma snacks.
Monet and O are true friends, and I hope everything works out for them, too. Real talk, everyone else can eat grass. Those old heads are messier than the YN.

Not sure what to make of the story. I typically steer clear of books that are less than 200 pages because I enjoy character development. I like Kairo and Vanna. Some of the additional view points are that necessary in my opinion. I would have waited on this series if I knew I had to wait for a part 4. The length of the books combined I personally feel like you could have just put it together and had one good detailed book.

The storyline hooks me—it strikes the perfect balance in pacing. Kairo's character development is intriguing, and I eagerly anticipate his full emergence. Plus, Vanna is doing an incredible job holding her own. I'm so excited to see where this story leads!

The plot has weakened a bit because it doesn't make much sense why Moe has so much animosity towards Kairo. Then the tangled weave of so many people involved. Even if there's going to be a twist in the finale, at this point things are dragging.
I like the characters and their besties, but nothing gave music producer or artists outside of a couple brief scenes.

Book 3 did not disappoint at all I truly love this series! I feel like we got to see a more calculated/determined Kairo, a stronger/more resilient Savanna and all the snakes in the grass are showing up in full force and I guarantee they’re about to be handled. I CANNOT wait for the finale to see how it all plays out! 5 stars hands down!!!

I can't wait to see how Kai handles those text messages, it's giving Ty jealous and he mad cause Savanna didn't want him. But I'm sure Moe sent those messages. I need him, Kenan, and Jada to be unalived already they a waste of space. Hopefully we get to see more Kai and Vanna's relationship.

The Legacy!!
This whole series just gives you all the feels. What started off as a contract turned into a certified love story. My favorite part though was the growth of all the characters. It touched on mental health, past trauma, as well as family drama. Definitely added to my top 5 series by Robin. Looking forward to reading more about this crew including O’Shea.

Finally getting somewhere
Glad this book finally deals with some unfinished business from the previous books in this series. This series continues to bring drama, action, and intrigue. I am still team Kairo and Savanna, but loving getting to know more about O’Shea and Monet as well.
