Overall another great fucking volume. Poison Ivy smartly makes this grand big event, but smaller human moments shine so effortlessly and it's no different here.

In this volume, Ivy is truly put through the grinder. Her beloved Marshview sanctuary is under massive threat, and she’s left reeling after a tragedy puts her at a critical crossroads for her future.

Ivy is really trying to juggle dealing with the cult following her, the town of Marshview, Jan from HR, and Harley her lover. It's so much to juggle, and it feels like she's slowly losing it as the GCPD, a terrible entity from Marshview’s past, and even an unexpected traitor all start converging on her home.

I personally enjoyed this volume again because it just gives Ivy so much character development. Watching her try to navigate the overwhelming external threats while wrestling with the possibility of having to make devastating sacrifices to save Marshview makes for a truly compelling read. I'll be sad when this ends.

Pretty good volume. I like how Wilson works Pamela as she is always looking for connection and love, but when she finds her family and followers that brings out the worst in her.

Usually books tend to lose steam at this point in a run - 36 issues in, and Poison Ivy continues to reinvent itself each and every arc, and keeps my interest each and every time.

With Marshview falling apart around her and betrayals coming from within and without, Ivy's gotta do something. Confronting the leader of the Order of the Green Knight, with a truly devastating conclusion, seems to be the play. There's so much stuff going on in this title, and Wilson manages to keep everything so delicately balanced. There's never too much of one thing - Ivy angst pervades it all, but there's just enough Harley, just enough of the Green, and even some Batman thrown in for this volume, so that we're never pulled in one direction over another.

I have nothing but good things to say about this book. It's truly one of my favourites at DC at the moment, and I'm so glad that it's been allowed to run this long - and shows no sign of stopping.

I want this comic to be something it can’t be as the product of a major corporation. I get that Ivy is a villain but I feel the story arbitrarily keeps her as such and that in a more just publishing world this would be the story of someone with vast trauma understanding their potential and moving maybe not the world, but Gotham to great eco consciousness less entrenched in violence and more so in destruction of infrastructure and power. It’s a beautiful book operating as best it can under its constraints. The creators push it as best they can but we really need more radical comic fantasies to motivate us to greater action.

This series continues to be one of the most thought-provoking and finely crafted monthly titles I've seen from DC. The scope is limited by other things going on in the comic line, but that allows the series to focus acutely on Ivy as a character and balancing her ethos with her humanity. Feels like the sparks are really going to fly in the next volume, but it's not just set-up material here. The plot isn't progressing at breakneck pace, but it justifies its length.

The plot is moving much too slow for it to be enjoyable. The only enjoyable part is watching Ivy descend into madness, but the art is difficult to work though :/

Read as single entries. Still good, but I have to say this arc is weaker overall.
