In twenty-four hours, my life was shattered by two men.
I became a lawyer to escape the chaos of the pack, to bury the half wolf inside me. But one step into that gala, and he unraveled it all. Damian Blackwood. Gorgeous. Dangerous. Alpha. One look and my wolf mate.
That reckless night changed everything. By dawn, he was gone. His rejection? It cut deeper than his touch ever could. Then came the second blow. Alpha Darius—the father I never knew. He didn’t want a daughter. He wanted a pawn.
So I ran. From Damian. From Darius. For survival—and for the secret growing inside me. Five years later, I’ve rebuilt my life, fought for justice, silenced the past. Until Damian appears—on the opposing table—and reignites the fire I swore I’d buried.
“I’ll win you back,” he vows, his voice as commanding as ever. Really? But I have proof you already lost— My secret, our daughter.
Okay, let me just start by saying Binding His Forbidden Mate hit every single one of my favorite tropes dead center. We’ve got fated mates, sizzling tension, a deep forbidden love, and so much emotional intensity I needed a cool drink and a fan more than once. Seriously, Flora R. Leigh just gets how to build a world where love is dangerous, loyalty is tested, and every chapter has your pulse racing.
This book brought the kind of chaos I crave. Our leads? Whew. That magnetic, can’t-stay-away-from-each-other energy mixed with betrayal, politics, and raw vulnerability? Chef’s kiss. I love a strong heroine who’s thrown into impossible choices and still manages to find her voice—her power—even when the world around her is burning. And don’t even get me started on the MMC… possessive, protective, broken in the best ways? Yes, please.
One of my favorite things about this series is how each book stands on its own while still layering more depth into the Lunar Bond universe. Book 5 took that to a new level. I felt the heartbreak. The longing. The anger. The desperation to change fate. It was messy and magical and so freaking good.
If you're into steamy supernatural drama where soulmates aren’t a simple blessing and happily ever after comes with claws and consequences—this is your next obsession. Trust me.
A great story full of fated mates, romance, betrayal, politics, deceit, intrigue, second chances and love, with a wonderfully strong willed FMC who makes her own choices, a possessive but protective Alpha MMC, some lovely twists and a HEA.
Sienna is working as a paralegal when her boss sends her to a gala to help mingle. She just wanted to keep her head down but everything changed when she bumped into her fated mate, Damian Blackwood. But her life twists again the following day when she meets her father for the first time. He's the Alpha of a rival pack to Damian's and on finding this out Damian rejects her. But all her father wants is a pawn to use, not a daughter, and she want's nothing to do with their war so she leaves to make a life on her own, again.
Five years later Damian has lost hope of finding her, but then sees her sitting on the other side of the table from him, as the lawyer working against him and he's thrown. Can he convince her to trust him again and how will he feel when he learns about his daughter?

Please understand I’m hoping I made this review okay, I’m dealing with bad vertigo and typing this as I think is a very difficult task but I’m pushing on. Sienna, early 20s, half breed, looking to make a way into the paralegal and her boss is making her meet people at a gala but she didn’t expect to find her true mate that awakened her dormant wolf. A mature 40s Damian Blackwood, Alpha of the Blackwood pack. What Sienna isn’t aware of she not just found her mate in Diamian later she will be taken to her father p, whom she doesn’t even know just a photo her mother gave her. Her father happenes to be Diamian’s archenemy Darius Moonstone. Just that revelation causes Damian to cut ties with Sienna the same time she fines out about the war. Will Damian and Darius ever let the war their grandfather’s started to a peace treaty or will they tear each other apart while Sienna keeps her daughter away and deal with a ‘friend’ Ethan that came into her life??? Will Damian stand back and let some one else touch his mate and child???
She stated her daughter was five years old but at the end she said she was a toddler after a year after everything happened. So time line wise it was a bit off. That didn’t sit right with me. The main event with Ethan where he wouldn’t listen to reason was a bit one sided. Just felt like he could have been more in that moment since he’s had previous experience with being uncover and all. Plus this was years in the making so I was expecting more of a blow up than what was written. Over all not a bad story but wasn’t a favorite.
A wonderful addition to the series… I’ve been working my way through this series and loving it! Each book is a standalone treasure with wonderful characters and it’s very own happily ever after. This one features Sienna and Damian. Fated mates who got off to a rocky start with the deck stacked against them. Their potential relationship sabotaged by betrayal… I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
We went from blizzard conditions to a black out where the ac went down in less than 24 hours. I had to reread this part twice. There were some editing issues as well he instead of her and so on. I only finished it to verify my predictions were correct.
All in all this is another good read from this author. But I do feel like there should be a little more attention to detail and editing. it definitely brought you to the ringers.
