Communicating with the dead is easier now than it ever was, and in fact your beloved may be trying to communicate with you right now! In the 21st century, you have many ways to connecting with the dead, including some that are new and evolving. The "Fun of Staying in Touch" is an exciting account of the wonderful and sometimes amazing ways in which the dead now let us know that they are happy and waiting for us in a glorious reality where love never ends. This book is meant to be an overview for those with little knowledge in this field. Rather than footnotes, it includes a brief study guide and also a comprehensive list of resources that you might use to duplicate my research. And if you are curious about the place from which the dead are communicating with us, you might read "The Fun of Dying - Find Out What Really Happens Next" for a similar overview of the death process and the glorious realities that we enter at death.
Roberta Grimes is a business attorney who had two experiences of light in childhood. She majored in religion at Smith College, and she spent decades studying afterlife evidence, quantum physics, and consciousness theories in order to understand the fundamentally spiritual nature of reality. She uses fiction to explore human nature and the ways in which spirituality affects our lives.
I enjoyed reading this book. I bought because the title suggested I will have a good time when reading it. And I did. The content of the book expanded my information acquired by other books. I count myself as a lucky person ,who had the changes to speak for short minutes with my unforgettable husband, my eternal love of 45 years. Yes ,the life after life is real ,I witnessed..The Universe is our,we are the Universe. Thanks,Ms. Grimes
Flowers, roses, coins and orbs of light...hello and thank you.
This book is easy to understand. It verifies for me the ways my loved ones have been in touch with me and has helped me to open up more to communicating with clearer understanding. Its to the point with no filler paragraphs and information. Its pure and enlightening.
5.0 out of 5 stars Just the beginning..., December 4, 2014 By SueBiss (USA) This review is from: The Fun of Staying in Touch: How Our Loved Ones Contact Us and How We Can Contact Them (Kindle Edition) I have always been interested in how mediums have been able to communicate with the dead. This book now explains how we can understand what the dead have been trying to tell to us, but have been missing unless we have had the help of a medium. We, the living, live on a lowest vibratory frequency and, the dead, on a higher vibratory frequency to which they are able to communicate with us by lowering their vibratory frequency. When I read this I now understand how the dead are trying to communicate with us. We must now start to pay attentions to the signs and messages we are receiving from the dead, things that we all think are strange or unusual even a coincidence. Some of the ways the dead try communicate to us are through dreams, numbers, music, and thoughts put in our minds. There are even more advance ways of communicating with the dead by doing EVP's, using spirits boxes, and the Internet. This is just the beginning for all of us new to communicating with the dead, but it helps me realize our loved ones are not truly lost to us, they are near us and watching over us. I am now paying attention to the signs and messages that are happening around me knowing that my loved ones are trying to communicate to me from the afterlife.

I read this right after the previous book in the series, The Fun of Dying and found it very similar and without many new ideas. This book presents several ways the author believes the dead can communicate with us. While I'm open to the idea, I'm still a bit skeptical, especially after reading some of the author's examples.
She says the dead communicate by leaving pennies for us to find or having us notice things like 11:11 on a clock. So... what's the point of that? What exactly is someone trying to communicate by leaving a penny for us to find? Maybe someone just dropped a penny and you happened to find it. If you go looking for signs, you will see them everywhere. The author mentioned if you are trying to decide about a new job in Texas, you will start seeing Texas things everywhere. But that's true with anything. If someone mentions that they hear a song all the time, then I'll hear it all the time too because I'm looking for it. When I learn about a new thing, I start seeing articles about it or hearing people talk about it all the time because I'm looking for it, but it doesn't mean it wasn't there before.
I think if you go around trying to place a meaning behind everything that's a coincidence in your life that you'll start going crazy. You'll waste your whole day wondering what it meant when you glanced at the clock and it said 12:34 and you won't live the life that's around you.
I love books about the after life and believe there is communication with our loved ones. I liked how it's not about what most people would hope to have but that there are other ways they are trying to get our attention. As someone who has witnessed my daughter being visited by her great grandmother and to know things she shouldn't this book helped knowing it happened. I will hand them a copy of this book if anyone doubts me. The parts I found myself getting lost at were the references to the bible. I don't follow the bible as part of my religion but take that away and the book was good. This was more towards the end. There is a lot of knowledge and it definitely shows that there was a lot of research done to prepare for this book. **I received a free book for an honest review**
I do not typically read this type of book so I approached it with a lot of skepticism. It has confirmed for me some thoughts I’ve had about personnel experiences and have not shared with others. The book was easy to understand and a quick read. I enjoyed the way the author balanced Christianity and science in the book. There is a lot of information on the various ways in which to stay in contact with those that have passed from our lives that I had never considered. After reading this book I will look more closely at the things that take place in my life that may not just be a “coincidence”. “I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.”
I've been researching the after-life for over 40 years. I already knew a lot about what Roberta speaks about but there were a few exciting surprises for me in this book. I just wish more people would take the time to research this subject. So many are afraid of it and will not even listen to anything about it. We really need the media to do more stories on it and show more evidence so that it would be hard to deny its existence. People like Roberta Grimes are God Sent and I very much appreciate her sharing her research with all of us. I am looking forward to her next "Fun" book.

Didn't think I'd like this book - it's not my type of literature. However, I liked it. It's really easy written, especially good for people like myself who usually don't read stuff like that. Author is addressing the reader in a friendly manner and simply shares her point of view. It's up to the reader to believe it or not or to start comparing it to his or her personal experience. Read it in one sitting.
I liked the book mainly because it was so sensible. I have struggled over the past few years with what I knew, and what I believed, and this book begins to reconcile the two. I already knew there was an afterlife, I just had trouble understanding how close it is. This book brought everything together in a simple manner that is easy to understand. Read it.
Won this Through Goodread First Read. Really enjoyed this book. I found it a little repetitive after just finishing the fun of dying. But other than that I liked it. Will definitely read the fun of growing forever when it comes out.
