I was so thrilled when this book arrived all the way from the US. I felt so honored Mathew sent me a copy of his new book to read.

This story defines the word beautiful. When I started this book I couldn’t put it down. Saving Annie is a beautifully crafted story full of soul and love. This novel is set in the 1970s which brings an added touch to the story.

Annie and her four friends set out on a journey. A journey full of risk. This novel highlights the determination people go through to help others in need. Risking it all for the people we love most. The fight for what matters most. This story shows us that something good still comes from heartbreak. I would highly recommend this book.

So much more could have been written in this book. Very simplistic. As someone who lived through the 70's , all this book talked about was getting high and music. The plot could have been elaborated and made into a great story . Too bad.
