I read Unbarbaad quite a while ago — maybe even longer than I remember. When it first came out, I was really excited. Before that, I had never read any specific book apart from my school textbooks, so picking this one up felt like a big deal. I bought it right after its release, just to feel motivated and try something new.
Honestly, I don’t remember much about my first experience reading it. All I know is that, as a non-reader at the time, I didn’t find it bad — in fact, I liked it.
Recently, I decided to re-read it. This time, I did find it motivating, but not as much as I probably did the first time. I didn’t enjoy it as deeply as I thought I would. It was a decent book — not terrible, but not outstanding either. Definitely not the best.
If I had read it for the first time now, or clearly remembered how I felt before, I might’ve rated it higher. Maybe, back then, I would’ve given it more stars. But based on how I feel now, it's just... okay.
As a student who read this in 11th, this book is a great way to motivate yourself (ofcourse it only lasts 3 days),
The book has some great pieces of advice for you to not end up ruining one of the most important part of your student life, and also does not go too harsh if you have already ruined it, but gives you advice to manage it.
Still, it also felt repetitive, not just the fact that some points are repeated a lot (not a big deal, infact it makes the book better for me), but that it is also very similar to many other books you can get on the same topic,
Otherwise, it has some very prudent advice to help students through a very hard journey.
I have been following him for a while now and I am also a student in his batch. For me he is a incredible teacher and now a author too. This was a very motivational with humour too which made it even more interesting. Completed in one sitting.
Shobhit bhaiya disappoint kar sakte hai kya? it's so damn good. Mujhe ye book padhne ke baad bohot clarity mili. And it is so cozy. Loved it. and you should read it.
