This is a very good book. It covers many areas of Bridge on a conceptual basis which the reader then can take the information and apply it rather than just memorize a lot of specific situations. I also found the many anecdotes and philosophical points superb. I highly recommend this book for all Bridge players no matter their level of play.

Excellent book, just has everything you need to remember to play a good hand of bridge. Never once did Bergen say ask you partner about this. Cute stories, too. Liked it so much I got a book for my mom's 90's birthday present.

A great book for the intermediate bridge player. This was my second reading of the book to give me reinforcements for the bridge "battles".
