The Trouble With Forever by Kali Hart was a thoroughly enjoyable read
It was a short, steamy small town, best friend's brother, friends to lovers, cowboy romance with some rom com moments, cute animal supporting characters and a well paced storyline.
The main characters, Wyatt and Everleigh, had me hooked quickly. Wyatt, the older brother of Everleigh's best friend and sheriff, has been hiding his true feelings for months concentrating on remaining friends whilst waiting for Everleigh to catch up and open up regarding her unexpected return to Emerald Creek. Everleigh, meteorologist and photographer, came home upset and was pulled over by Wyatt for a traffic stop before seeing everyone but wouldn't explain her tears and he was sworn to secrecy.
Wyatt is there for her as she leans on him and Everleigh recognises her deepening feelings for the sheriff but can't admit the truth of them to herself despite their sizzling chemistry growing and threatening to combust.
Alpacas, screaming goats, a cat and a Great Dane all contribute to a wonderful story with warm, heart felt moments, steam, spice and an eventual satisfying HEA.

The Trouble with Forever was a fun and steamy read by Kali Hart. Everleigh returned to Emerald Creek a year ago after a traumatic event while chasing and photographing storms. Wyatt, her best friend's older brother and her crush has been there every time she called ready to build her new bookshelf or to rescue a runaway alpaca wearing a unicorn hat. Wyatt's been in love with her months but he knows she's struggling with something so he doesn't want to scare her off. However, the more they spend together, the harder it is to resist. And Everleigh is beginning to act as though she wants more than friendship. Great read.

I fell in love with this book and Wyatt and Everleigh at the beginning of this book. This slow burn romance is everything you need in a small town romance. Wyatt is so patient while Everleigh is healing. He’s sweet, consistent and protective. This slow burn romance is full of sweet moments, great chemistry and a perfect building tension until Wyatt is done waiting. This is an excellent read and addition to this series and I can’t wait for book 3.

This is a best friends brother romance. Wyatt is sheriff and he has loved his sisters best friend Everleigh for quite a while. But they’re best friends too. It’s difficult for both, both wanting each other but not wanting to take the risk and lose that friendship. This is quite an emotional rollercoaster that’s sweet and steamy and a great happy ending. I loved it.

This was such a wonderful story. I fell in love with Everleigh and Wyatt right from the start. Their friendship had my heart because you could see the underlying love they had for one another. Such a rare gem. These two were perfect in every way. It saddened me that they weren’t willing to leap for fear of running their friendship. But Omgosh, once they did, it was everything. ❤️ the steam, the sweetness, it was everything. I absolutely loved this story.

Wyatt and Everleigh are the perfect couple. Wyatt is the brother of Everleigh’s best friend Macy. She is one of those folks that isn’t happy living in one place she is a storm chaser. After experiencing a storm that left her questioning everything she decides to move back home. She and Wyatt are always running into each other and he is always there for her. They finally let their feelings take over!

The attraction between these two was so good, Wyatt amazed me with how restraint and patient he had been, but I did want to shake them both and say be honest with each other! I believed in their connection and chemistry, thought they went well together and I enjoyed seeing them come together. Everleigh is back in her hometown for healing and a fresh start. Wyatt is the local sheriff and her best friend's brother. He's been in love with her since she's been back, and she's starting to feel the same about him. This is a sweet, emotional, best friend's brother romance with believable characters who had me cheering them on to get their happily ever after. A great friends to lovers story. Everleigh has always liked Wyatt the older brother of her best friend. She even had a crush on him when she was younger. He has always looked out for her. Ever since she returned to her hometown Wyatt has been there for her. Turns out he has loved her this whole time and is finally ready to make his move. Great chemistry and connection between them. Wonderful HEA.
