I have never read from this author before and now I want to read more! Wonderful pacing for such a short novella. I enjoyed the structure of the story and the premise was cute. The banter had me smiling so much!!! I thought the resolution tied up nicely. Such a great palate cleanser read!

This was such a cute novella! Georgie is the kind of character many of us can identify with—she lives a cozy, self-contained life, working from home, ordering everything online and even catching up with her best friend without leaving home. Then there’s Stan, an app developer whose path crosses with Georgie’s in the most charming and unexpected ways. I loved that Stan developed the app to help his nephew communicate better. I like how fate kept throwing Georgie and Stan together. Their relationship was sweet, fun, and left me smiling.
Cute story about a woman, Georgie, who (like many of us) has a hard time finding reasons to leave her apartment when she is able to get everything done from home (grocery shopping, working, talking on the phone with her best friend, etc). Stan works as an app developer. I loved the ways they were thrown together and how hard and easy it was for them to be together. Fun, quick read, though the end came a bit abruptly for me.
For a novella I liked it. It ended a little fast for me but I understand why. I just got an audiobook of one of her books. I’m excited to see what that is like!
My thoughts: this was my first by this author and it was super cute. I love novellas because I can read them all in one sitting. The interactions on this were great—from the HOA meeting, to Stan’s shouting up at her from the sidewalk, to chatting on the app (with faces and voices altered, so she doesn’t realize who he is). Fast paced and a lot of fun!
This was a very cute novella. I loved how Georgie and Stan get to know each other over his app. I also loved how Georgie fed stray cats as some crazy plot with Ann Marie. This was a fun story.
