Halfway through my Mating Ceremony, my sister Seraphina suddenly dropped to her knees in front of me and started banging her head on the sacred ground. "Lyra, please release Callum back to me. Just as you commanded, I submitted to those thirty rogue wolves. Please, just let me go!" My mate-to-be, Alpha Callum Blackthorn, completely lost it. He canceled the ceremony right there. Then Callum ordered his enforcers to drag me to "Blood Moon Den," the most notorious punishment territory for disgraced wolves, to "pay for what I'd done." For two months, they forced me to serve rogues non-stop while whipping me with silver - tipped ropes, even impairing my ability to shift. After that, Callum finally remembered me. But I just kept my head down, numbly kneeling at his feet, skillfully took off my clothes...
The original story ends at chapter 11 and then becomes a new story. I think it might be written by AI because there were several inconsistencies in the first 10 chapters. They said she was in prison for two months and then all of a sudden she was just a waitress for two months but then next page it was actually prison again.
The book is not described as an anthology but switching to a different story after 10 chapters and realizing it is over 1000 pages long suggests that is it. This book just isn’t worth reading. The description isn’t accurate, the inconsistencies, all scream AI.
It wasn’t a bad book. I actually enjoyed it. But what confused me was the beginning. I don’t understand how it was related to the main story at all. It was random and the ending just tragic. There was no closure to it. If that hadn’t been part of the first few chapters of the rest of the book everything would have made more sense. The rest of the story was actually very good.
The story is decent bud the editing is awful. So many basics grammatical mistakes as well as left over comments between I am assuming the author and maybe a beta reader?
Plus the first prologue or short story is not called out as being related to the rest which makes it very difficult.
Good read but about 300 pages could have been cut and not been missed. The first 9 chapters were about the original curse the rest of the book is about the culmination of the curse and the aftereffects through generations.
I was so excited to find this book. I love finding good serial stories but the literal endless stories gets super old. I love the characters and humor as well as the justice delivered in this story cant wait til more is released on amazon
This is so well-written ...it had me late for work couple of times, the heart ache the love ....the loyalty the twists and turns ....I cant wait to read the rest once it is written
