Boyfriends who have boyfriends, yes please. Who doesn't love a hockey omegaverse romance with a bit of angst and alphas who would do anything for their omega.

In this story, we have Noa, an omega who has run from an extremely rough and traumatic past. She’s living life day by day and trying to grow her business. She owns a blanket store located right by the arena where the Scented Scorpions play. If you’re familiar with this shared world, you know that our team is struggling. None of them are meshing well and there’s talk about closing the team. To prevent this, they brought in Marilyn, an alpha who has been helping the team with PR, which so far has been setting up all the alphas with their omegas. Marilyn has been sending Thorne, an alpha on the team all over town on errands. One is picking up some samples from Noa’s blanket store. Once he arrives, he discovers that Noa is his scent match and in a panic, they both fail to exchange any information. Thorne is in an established romantic pack with Silas (another hockey player) and Havoc (an artist with a criminal past). They all worry about how an omega is going to change their dynamic. Noa worries about letting other alphas in after her last pack treated her so badly.

Noa is struggling in this story. She’s got a really rough past and while her pack is supportive, she still has some trauma to work through, especially when the past won’t stay where it belongs and these alphas from before keep turning up. It’s sometimes hard to watch this group in their awkward interactions. That being said, there’s not that much angst from within the group. These guys are very sweet and loveable. My favourite is Havoc, who is a gentle giant and who is learning how to accept himself so that he can see how others accept him too.

I received an advance copy of this book in return for my honest review.

I really enjoy Omegaverse books—they’re one of my absolute favorite genres—and I’m also a huge sports lover. So when a story combines those two things? Nine times out of ten, I’m immediately obsessed and ready to fall in love. This book definitely had a lot of elements that appealed to me: the OV structure, the team dynamic, the competitive energy, and the bonds forming within that world.

But what held this one back for me—and ultimately kept it from becoming a top favorite—was the lack of development for some of the MMCs. A few of them felt underexplored, like their backstories weren’t fully fleshed out or explained in a way that made their motivations, personalities, or emotional depth stand out. In a why-choose or multi-character OV story, I really rely on connecting to each love interest, and when some feel more complete than others, it affects the balance of the whole dynamic.

That being said, it was still a good book. The premise was strong, the sports angle was fun and refreshing, and there were definitely moments I enjoyed. It just didn’t give me the full emotional depth or character detail I’ve come to hope for in my favorite Omegaverse titles.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read—just not one of my personal favorites—but I can absolutely see other OV and sports romance fans falling head over heels for it.

Book 8 of the Knotty Puckers series. I wanted one of Noa’s blankets by the end. The way she explained the materials and colors made me want to go buy a really cozy blanket. Havoc was, by far, my favorite character. He is quiet and strong. Marilyn again is making matches without the players knowing it. She sends Thorne to this blanket store outside of the arena to pick up samples. He ends up meeting his scent match there at the store. From there, Silas and Havoc also meet Noa and are scent-matched. Noa had a prior pack that she endured physical, mental and verbal abuse from. She runs and thought she was in the clear. Her prior pack and abusive parents show up and kidnap her. Her new pack must save her and bring her home. There is mention of off-page unaliving by an MMC.

Even with Noa’s heat upcoming g there is very little spice. There is one scene between the guys early on (I love when the boyfriends are also boyfriends). And some light spice throughout, but the bulk of the spice happens in the last couple of chapters, and it had a partial closed-door feel. While the lack of spice wasn’t a turn off it just wasn’t quite what I was expecting from an Omgeaverse book.

I cant wait to keep reading about the Scented Scorpions.

Please be sure to check all TWs before reading/listening 📖 🎧Your mental health is always more important than anything else.

This is my first read by Danielle Doe and she did NOT disappoint! 👏🏽

Our FMC and lovely Omega, Noa, is a badass. Plain and simple. Our Noa has not had an easy life and the trauma that she carries can only be smooshed away by her scent matches, Thorne, Silas, and Havoc. The Gray Pack.

Silas and Thorne are Hockey players with the Scented Scorpions 🦂 🥅🏒 through “mysterious” ways *cough cough* Marilyn (IYKYK) have their own unique meetings with Noa.

Havoc is an ex-con and thinks that will deter their chances of wooing Noa, but little does he know that he’ll score the first date!

At a fast pace, Noa’s past comes back into her life and nearly ruins her courting with The Gray Pack.

The passion that our MMCs have for Noa show in their tenacious pursuit to keep her safe.

Their passion also shows in other areas too *wink wink* *cough cough*

Spoiler Alert: In Chapter 32, page 226 (Kinde E-book) there is a chapter where Noa explains exactly what and how she feels about each of her Alphas 🥰💋🔥🤌🏼

I loved Noa and her guys, plus I love getting back into a book that felt connected to the overall series since the previous one I read (it wasn't book 7) wasn't connected to the world at all. It literally felt like it was a hockey book that threw on a cover to match the series instead of actually participating in the overall series, and I really missed this team, Marilyn, and just the overall vibes that came from trying to fix this team. I just think it's so cool to have a series written by different people, but overall, still feeling really cohesive and like a series of standalones that any other author would write, so there are elements that connect the stories even though the characters and stories are pretty much standing on their own. It was just nice returning to those vibes. Now, as for the book itself, it wasn't bad, I just really wish it had been expanded. We have a lot going on, and the book is on the shorter side, so the story felt a little rushed and needed more time to expand the suspense and the pack forming. It all felt a little rushed, but I liked what it was trying to do. Plus, I love that everyone loved everyone in this pack.

This was a quick paced enjoyable omegaverse read. I’ve read one of the books in this series and it just got too long and dragged on this one was the perfect length and pacing.

It was unique in that there were 3 alphas in the pack before and they were all together romantically. I feel like in a lot of these books you only see like one coupling of guys in the pack, but these guys were all together which I thought was unique. I liked all of the different characters I felt like they were each distinct and enjoyable.

Here’s why it was like a 3.5 for me this needed a good editing. The main female character is with her abusive pack for two years, but there are several points in the middle of the book and once at the end of the book where it’s put as two weeks instead of two years so that got really confusing , also once we hit the 60% mark I noticed some spelling errors and grammar errors.

Overall, this is a quick paced read. All the characters were enjoyable, so I definitely recommend it if you can look past some minor spelling and writing errors.

This was a cute book, pretty classic OV, and I simply adored Havoc. I do wish the book had been longer, however, because we didn't really get to know Silas or Thorne well, or anything about their pasts. But as Havoc was my baby I was more okay with that than I'd usually be. I will say, however, that the writing style & word choices felt pretty juvenile, which is off-putting to me personally, but not everyone will feel the same, so you should give it a try.
My absolute favorite part of the book is when the big scary ex mafia ex con Havoc is terrified to meet the MC, thinking he'll scare her off from the pack & that she'll hate him, & instead she's instantly enamored by him & even asks him out first hahaha
All in all, a good read, just felt like it needed more exploration into the characters & a good editor.

Absolutely loved this book. It was pretty low angst to what I was expecting but nonetheless it was an amazing read. The men are so supportive and the relationships between all of them was written beautifully. Our main girl has been through it and is working through her trauma and everything she’s been through. Her men are always therefore her and they are so lovable!!

The story flows smoothly and is easy to follow along to. It wasn’t fast paced but it wasn’t a slow burn either it was enjoyable to read. The plot was sound and there weren’t many plot holes which was nice as a lot of the time rh books tend to leave a few holes in the relationship building section lol. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cute hockey romance that doesn’t take long to read and is super sweet with a touch of angst

Knot Your Pucking Doll is a highly enjoyable addition to the Knotty Puckers series. This debut was a tender look at acceptance and the healing that comes from found family. Noa’s story follows her aspirations in creating an independent future for herself as she navigates her fears of setting roots where they will have time to grow. Stumbling upon her scent matches, is a challenge when her past lies in wake.

While Noa’s story is traumatic, it is not particularly dark (though please check content warnings). She has much to overcome but she is able to find healing and formidable strength under the gentle mercies of her alphas. This is an endearing installment in this omegaverse hockey series and I recommend giving this blossoming author a go when her book releases on February 21st.

K think Knot Your Pucking Doll has been my favorite book in the Knotty Puckers series. I loved how each Alpha had their own personality and had a very distinct role to play. But I feel like the story could have been longer and we could have gotten to know each of the characters more. I love when boyfriends have boyfriends and everyone shares, everyone. I would have loved to see more of this in the story as well.

Based on the title, I expected a very aggressive Enemies to Lovers story but the title is referring to her old pack, not the new one that she came into. I was so hoping for banter and bickering but was disappointed to find none. Overall, it was a good read but I feel like there could have been more added to it.

Oh em gee I love Noa, she's so cute and sweet that you can't help but to fall in love with her.

The boys she finds that are her scent match are the Thorne, Silas, and their mate Havoc

Watching the pack come together from 2 to one is a sweet story add in, her boyfriends are boyfriends, a villainous pack she's on the run from, a heat looming closer and stalking.. it's a book for everyone.

This series is just getting better and better and this author really brings a new bit of freshness to the characters, so glad I got to ARC for it!

Danielle- thank you for letting me read this lovely book. You done really well with the storyline and character personalities.
I loved reading Knot Your Pucking Doll. Noe's story is very sweet. I enjoy how easy the story was to ready and the storyline.
I enjoy gummy Thorne with his black hair and striking green eyes.
Havoc with his tattoos and shoulder length hairs, with his silent protective and shy/silent persona. And how caring he is.
Silas, our strong, handsome Pack Lead.
I enjoyed how all three are patient with Noa.

Silas🏒, Thorne🏒, and Havoc, an established scent matched Alpha pack find and pursue their scent matched Omega, Noa Odette. Silas and Thorne are members of the Scented Scorpions hockey team, Havoc is former mafia and current artist, and Noa is the proud owner of 🐻‍❄️🐻Cozy Bear Blankets 🐻‍❄️ 🐻. Let us not forget pack member number five - 🐶Otis🐶.
Honestly, if you’re looking for a sweet, low angst, quick read with an HEA, then dive into the next installment in the Knotty Puckers World and get to know this pack.

This was a sweet OV book with a little angst, some past traumas, and a slightly slow-burn pack spiciness. There is an established pack of alphas that are also scent-matched mates, and following an impromptu meeting (at least semi-orchestrated by Marilyn), the Gray pack figures out they also share a scent-matched Omega. The story follows as the alphas work to gain Noa's trust, and show her they are vastly different from the pack of her past.

This is a shade darker than some of the others in this series. It was a good, quick read. Everything happens very quickly, with an instant love due to the scent match. I do almost wish there was more to it. My brain is twisted enough. I wanted the shades of grey to be darker, but alas, this series is meant to be a touch fluffy.
Solid characters, and integrates nicely into the series. I'm glad Noa got her happy ever after.

I really enjoyed the characters in this book! I loved Havoc! I dont think I have read a lot of omegaverse books where an alpha spent time in prison. I like that the romance in this book was very low angst. It was really sweet as they spent time together. I definitely recommend this book if you like an omega with a hard past but very little darkness/abuse is shown on page.

Good, fun, sweet with some drama (old pack and family) for the omega, story. I loved the alphas, and how the omega ran her own business. Part of Knotty Puckers series from various authors. Worth a read!

This book had me in my feelings. My heart ached for Noa and her past trauma. It was so sweet watching her overcome that trauma and fall for the pack she deserved. It's definitely worth a read!

This was a cute read. The Omega is fulfilling her dream while trying to protect herself from Alphas. And her scent matches are scared of running her off. They give her a sense of peace and safety but still take it easy around her. And scent matches won't let her past touch her again.
