A bit conflicted on this one.
Fascinating topic and very (hashtag) relatable at points, but it also felt quite scattershot and I found some parts of the book to just drag on and on - one of the later chapters, mostly focused on Greg LeMond and Stephen Roche in the late 80s was just... I dunno, could have used a brutal editor I think.
But a lot of stuff here is great. I'm an avid cyclist - never raced though, unless we count the very occasional Zwift race - and definitely found a lot of stuff here that made me go "oh wow yeah".
