A long time ago I was born in Los Angeles. That's where I spent many of my formative years. After I became an adult, I moved around for a bit before ending up in a small town in Oregon, very similar to Bailey's hometown. Greenhearth is fake, if you haven't already Googled that, but it's like many small towns with less than 1,000 people.
My pets... I love animals, especially my two even if they do create havoc in my daily life. I have a cat, named Snowstorm, Storm for short. Then I have a rescue, Josephine. She's a Labradoodle - I think. It's hard to say but it's the best I can come up with.
What I'm working on... I'm already working on the next book in the series - was working on it before Bad Attitude came back from editing. And now that it has released, need to stay on track with A Bit Aggressive.

Merritt and her friends are facing more black magic and trying to find the where and who it's coming from. At the same time Merritt is helping Val get ready for her wedding, dealing with her budding memories, and helping the new misfit get settled. These books just keep getting better and better. The author brings all the characters to life and the storylines make you want to keep reading and not put the book down till you're done. Then you sit there knowing you have to wait for the next book to come out before you can dive back in. Can't wait for more.
This is a very enjoyable series but be prepared for it to last a bit. It's nice to see the character development across the board. Each of them seems to have new ideas and ways to work together. They truly work as a unit and support each other. Plenty of action and changes as they fight through more black magic situations as well as the twisted paras that are affected by it. Merritt is beginning to remember more about her childhood and the Leshbolg people as she slowly is accepting that part of herself.
Bee a tree, or a shrew, a fox, oh heck... just enjoy this series... it's awesome
The protagonist is the last living member of a once great tribe whose members were allied with dragons long before others were, and before a war pitting dark magic against life itself wiped out her species along with millions of other lives. Pick up your sword, cast your spell, and fight the Furies alongside the heroes of New Avalon.
Fights and conflict are in every book, but this one was amazing. Showing how good regular life can be. There will always be something around the bend but finally getting to see happy and normal was just what we needed this time!!! Thank you and already needing more of Merritt and Akila!!
No Waif Out (Merlin's Waif Book 4) Renee Jagger, Michael Aderle
It took me longer than normal to warm to the characters in this series, almost half of Book 1. But once I had I have been struggling to also read the other series that I have on the go at the moment. Can't wait to start Book 5.
There is a lot of things going on in this book. The FMC is learning more about her people, learning to bake different things, helping with wedding stuff, and find out who is trying to kill her. I will read the next book in the series.
Phenomenal as always. Renee Jagger is one of my favorite authors. Her characters are strong, have emotions, flaws, and hearts of gold. Yet, they are funny, strange, and full of life.
I love this series . I truly enjoy reading about previous characters in this story interacting with the new . I am looking forward to read the next book in the series.
Totally enjoyed it! This is a well written and has well developed characters. The story is catching and with the strong characters makes for a very enjoyable read. Great Reading Everyone!
Yet another rip roaring story in this magical Avalon/Earth series. Full of fun and humour and love and adventures that never end. Can't wait to read the next one.
Enjoyable read. I really like the characters, the Little Avalon setting and its nice and friendly family atmosphere etc... The story is not bad but it is yet another quite average thirteen on a dozen urban fantasy novel.
