Riptide: Crossroads (Book 2) by Chelsea Leach is a powerful and emotionally rich sequel that pulls you in from the very first page. I finished it in just two weeks—it was that hard to put down. The story beautifully weaves together love, high-stakes tension, and deep personal growth. What stood out most was how it explored healing and forgiveness in such a raw, honest way. The characters feel real, their struggles hit hard, and the emotional payoff is worth every moment. A compelling read for anyone who enjoys romance layered with intensity and heart. Loved it! I personally know Chelsea and knew that whatever she wrote I’d love and I wasn’t wrong! Jess and Jack were the cutest and made it through some huge hoops. So worth all the texts I sent her with all my commentary and lamentations about where I was at in the book 🤣😍

Chelsea is an upcoming author with Riptide being her 2nd book. Keep her on your radar!! I enjoyed her first one but have to say that book 2 Riptide was my favorite. Great story and characters! Riptide is filled with several twists and turns leaving you wondering which direction things going to go. And of course there’s romance! Great writing Chelsea! Excited for your next story!

Be prepared for a page turner with breathtaking plot twists that will keep you reading till 2am! Chelsea has done it again with her beautifully written, relatable characters - I have never seen motherhood so accurately represented. Jess's growing confidence shines through the pages as she learns to use her voice and teaches readers that no matter where a person comes from or what their story is, they are the makers of their own destiny. I will forever be in her corner, cheering her on!

This one was harder for me to really get into but once I did, it was good story. While I have enjoyed both books, the chapters are quite lengthy and it seemed there were multiple stories in one book. From Jess and Tucker, Jess and Julian, Jess and Jack, it was a lot.

I am anxiously awaiting the next book in this series. Which guy will the next book focus on? I have my suspensions. Only time will tell

Loved this book. Chelsea nailed the story line keeping you engaged with all of the characters. Easy and highly enjoyable read with a great mix of romance and suspense. Highly recommend! Can’t wait for the next one!
