Finding Freedom From Mental Noise

Man, what a breath of fresh air this book is! As someone who's spent plenty of time wrestling with those nagging voices of doubt in my head, I found Vaughn's approach refreshingly practical and down-to-earth.
She doesn't just tell you to "think positive" and call it a day. Instead, she walks alongside you, offering real tools to quiet that inner critic that's been running the show for too long. I especially connected with her techniques for breaking those mental loops that keep us stuck and afraid.
The beauty of this book is how it meets you right where you are. No fancy jargon or complicated systems—just honest guidance from someone who clearly understands the struggle. As a husband and dad who's seen my share of life's ups and downs, I appreciated how these strategies could be woven into everyday family life.
If you're tired of being tossed around by your own thoughts and ready to reclaim some mental peace, give this one a shot. It's been helpful for me, and I bet it will be for you too.

Everyone needs reminders

This book is a great reminder to take time for yourself, yes you can.
It discusses various mental traps that sometimes we forget about. Cloe encourages daily rituals to keep our mental solitude growing. Overall this is a good read and should be on your shelf for those times we get freaked out.

Great for over thinkers!

As someone who overthinks everything and battles anxiety, this book was exactly what I needed. It's perfect for people who doubt themselves often and need practical advice on how to deal with their feelings. I liked how it gives easy tools to change negative thoughts and find inner strength.

emotional regulation

This book looks at how to calm yourself and take an active role in emotional regulation. There is power in naming which emotions you are feeling and why. Often emotions have their roots in past trauma, being able to STOP, name, and ask why is immensely empowering. An excellent weekend read for persons interested in psychology.
